Is it okay that my characters are dogs? I can turn them into humans if that’s needed.
Buddy Brindle:
If you’ve seen the dog that pops up every time I post, yup, you’ve seen Buddy. Buddy is a young hound-like dog. He has a brindle (black/brown striped) coat and orange-brown eyes. From my WIP, he is a midshiper (someone training to be a lieutenant/captain) on a ship. He’s thoughtful, smart, and has a good nose for helping others. He greatly cares about his friends and will do nearly anything to protect/help them. His core virtue is facing fear with boldness and lies with truth. He loves learning new things.
Sebastian Rover: A daring, sarcastic, and fun-loving adventurer! Also a midshiper, the dashing red and white Aussie, is close friends with Buddy. He loves the thrill of a fight, especially when he’s fighting for justice. Fiercely loyal, sometimes his friendships/deep cares blind him from doing what’s right. He’s quick-headed, witty, and bold.
These two dogs are both young, about 17-18 in human age. Both are medium-sized dogs. They are avid learners, always trying to acquire new knowledge. They are very close, like brothers. They are both skilled in fighting, wilderness survival (Buddy is superior of the two), and taking on responsibility.

Okay, they seem good. But I have one question, can they stay as humans as long as they want? If yes then they can stay! If not then I may have to modify them where they CAN do that, but will be fine. Btw, you may be able to have two, if no one submits too many characters before the deadline. But if that does happen then you may have to get rid of one. Yes, I can turn them into permanent humans for this! It will be like they’ve been humans their entire lives…not like they were magically turned into one.
If other people submit more characters, I can take one out.

lol that’s all right. I have a few human characters or charries that are effectively powerless, let me find one……

Well, liberty I have a good idea! If you want your charries to stay special here’s what I can do! Your human characters could still have the advantages and disadvantages of a dog! Like they could be super athletic and have great hearing and have a good sense of smell! But they would also be colorblind and easily distracted and also have a hard time being alone! Sounds fair? Same for you @keilah-h!

Another thing liberty, what is buddy’s negative character traits? I get to hear his good ones, but what is he bad at? What skills shape his character for the worse? What makes him frustrated and causes him anger? Thank you so much for participating though! 🙂

Oh, Sorry! I truly wasn’t that offended. It was late when I sent that I think. And my last brain cell was just ending its shift, so it probably saw that and was like, “OH HOW DARE SHE! DUH, I AM GOING TO REPORT THAT!!!” (its name is jerry, please forgive it!)
(Also I am sorry if I am being a hypocrite rn, by ending a conflict with a joke…. I know I said I didn’t like that. BUT that was for fights! And we are not fighting!)
