May 22, 2025 at 5:37 pm #203318“YUCK! Why are our cookies so salty!?” Sebastian yelled and spat the batter into the trash.
“It can’t be that bad?” Buddy tried a little of the batter and spat it into the garbage. “Your right, it’s worse than bad, it’s horrible!” Buddy gaged.
“Come on guys, I think you’re exaggerating…” Owiti stuck in his finger, tasted the batter, and as expected, gagged and spat it into the trash.
You had me laughing so hard! It’s hilarious!

This is everyone, right? WELL! THE TIME HAS COME!
Chapter 3
Wednesday
Just one night“And that’s how I learned that the capital of Alabama was Richmond!” Arizona said proudly as she finished telling her story to Judith.
“Uhm… Arizona? The capital of Alabama is Montgomery. Not Richmond. That’s Virginia’s capital.” Judith corrected.
“It is? I could’ve sworn it was Richmond… Oh well!”“Hello, my most trusted friends!” Alyona walked up and sat next to them, Judith and Arizona scooched away from her.
“Uh… Hi, Alyona?” Judith looked uncomfortable.
“I am so excited to see who gets eliminated! I hope it isn’t me!… I was the ONLY ONE who helped!” Alyona leaned over Judith intimidatingly.“Uhm… No, you weren’t? You kind of sabotaged us.” Judith grinned awkwardly. Alyona’s eye twitched.
“Yeah!” Arizona raised her voice. “You’re an enemy! So, get lost!” Arizona jumped up. “I… I didn’t sabotage you! Oh well… I’m going to get eliminated anyway…” Alyona hugged her legs, “Hmph. At least you weren’t hated by the fans!” Alyona laid back on the ground.“Uhm… Okay? Let’s go, Arizona.” Judith took Arizona’s hand and pulled her away. “Hey! You guys have to pity me! Oh well!” Alyona shrugged and fell back on the ground. “I guess I can’t be a pick me!” She smiled.
Soon everyone gathered for the elimination. “Hello! Good morning to all my lovely contestants!” Allen greeted them with a smile.
“Yay! I want to watch someone get dragged off this island!” Alyona raised her hands in excitement.
“Love the spirit! Let’s get to it! The Harpies, you’re up here first!”The Harpies gathered on the stage and took their seats. “Let’s just get to the point! Rachel… You’re safe with zero votes!” Allen stretched out his arms in excitement.
“Of course.” Rachel smiled as she walked off the stage. “I WAS the only one helping.”“Nathan, Robin, Blaze!” Allen looked at each as he called their names. “You three are also safe with zero votes!”
“Nice, glad to see I last another day.” Nathan murmured and walked off the stage. “Good! I swear! If I was eliminated I would’ve… I would’ve…” Robin stopped to think of a threat.
“Great job, Robin, Nathan, and Rachel!” Blaze pushed Robin off the stage while he congratulated his teammates. “I’m a little surprised I made it…”“Boyan! Katerina! Alyona!… One of you will be leaving… And two of you will get to continue… Boyan!… You’re safe with zero votes!” Allen gave a thumbs up.
“Hm. The fact that I didn’t mess everything up, I believe it’s my right to stay.” Boyan said as he left.“Katerina! Alyona! One of you will be gone!” Allen paused for dramatic effect. Katerina was crossing her fingers and silently praying. Alyona had a lifeless smile on her face. “Alyona!” Allen announced.
“Wah-?!” Alyona jumped back.
“Wait… Really?!” Katerina asked.
“Yup! Katerina had one vote, Alyona had four! So, you’re out!” Allen pointed at Alyona.
“Oh! I’m so sorry, Alyona!” Katerina ran up and hugged her.“It’s fine.” Alyona replied, pushing her off. “I am just happy someone got eliminated. This is very interesting.” Alyona stared off at nothing. Judith raised an eyebrow. “Alyona, were you the vandal?!” Allen inquired.
“I am….. Not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, not, NOT the vandal!” Alyona smiled widely.
“What?” Katerina cocked her head in confusion.
“Welp! There’s your answer! Next up are the Argonauts!” Allen showed Katerina off the stage and welcomed the Argonauts up.“Before we begin, Allen please tell us. Was Alyona the vandal or not?” Edgar took a seat and looked at Allen expectingly.
“She already answered that!” Allen smiled.
“Allen! Tell us now, or else!” Beatrice yelled. “Alright! Alright!… She… WAS the vandal! Congratulations! You have removed your first vandal!”“Wait… Really?!” Boyan jumped up. “
Well… Good game Alyona!” Blaze nodded towards her. “I’m sorry to see you go.”“Eh! It’s fine!” Alyona shrugged. “Now I get to plan my revenge on everyone here… HA HA HA!” Alyona walked away laughing.
“Okay! The first three safe are Arizona, Pawel, and… am I reading this right?… Eric… You three got zero votes! I’m surprised you weren’t voted out, Eric!” Allen smiled and shrugged.
“Hey! What’s that supposed to mean?!” Eric scrunched up his nose and scowled.“Next person safe is- Wow… Beatrice! How did that happen?” Allen looked confused.
“What? The fans love me! Besides, my team would be useless without me!” She walked down the steps of the stage.
“What?! I’m bottom three?” Quinn said worriedly.“If Quinn gets out, I get out!” Eric stepped back up.
“Well then you both get to stay! Quinn is safe with only one vote!” Says Allen. “Yeah, I knew they couldn’t get rid of us!” Quinn exclaimed as he high-fived Eric and joined the other teams.“Hm? Oh well! Bottom two!” Allen grinned.
“Oh, please not me, please not me!” Judith whispered.
“Judith!” Allen announced.
“Huh?! Am I safe?!” Judith sprung from her seat. “Nope! Edgar is safe! You two tied with two votes… but I left it up to a dice role, and you’re out!” Allen winked.“What!? But- But I’m not the vandal! Why would they vote me out!? That’s not fair! I was just trying my best! It’s not my fault that my team was horrible.” Judith said miserably.
“Judith! You can’t leave!” Arizona ran up and hugged Judith.
“Sorry… See ya’ soon.” Judith sighed.“Well, let’s let them go to the bus! We’ll go to our own bus.” Allen led the remaining contestants to the bus.
“Ugh! I chipped a nail!” Aurora held up her hand and inspected it as she climbed the bus. If it was possible, nearly every boy behind her rolled their eyes.“I’m glad you didn’t get eliminated, Beatrice!” Rosamund patted her sisters shoulder. “Yeah, yeah! Whatever.” Beatrice pushed her hand away.
“Daiwa! You’re sticking with me! Who knows what we’ll be doing. And I need support!” Antin grabbed Daiwa’s hand and pulled her towards her.
“Uh… Okay? Why do you want to stick with me? Is it because I-” Antin quickly covered her mouth.
“It’s because I need someone who is worse than me, that way I can look good!” Antin smirked. He then leaned closer to her. “Don’t tell ANYONE that we talked last night! If they find out I needed help from YOU, they won’t think I’m PERFECT!” Antin seemed to whine.
“Fine… whatever…” Daiwa shrugged.“Hey… Vitaliya… do you want to stick with me…?” Alwin asked nervously.
“Sure! I’d love to help you out! Especially if it means I’ll get you away from – er, disregard that.” Vitaliya replied. The bus arrived at a grassy area where the teams exited. Beyond the bus, carrying items lay on a table, with poles set up.
“Alright contestants! Today’s challenge you will be deserted on a smaller nearby island! Your team will select three of you to survive the night there! The others who will be staying behind will select the items that the people going will get. However, there will be a challenge. But first! The Olympians can swap one player from their team to another, and steal a contestant of their choice!”
Robert stepped forward, “We choose to switch Daiwa with Buddy on the Sirens team.”
“Oh! That was quick… You know you could get a double vandal though… right?” Allen raised an eyebrow.
“Wait, really?” Jayden eyes widened. “Well then we should consider this carefully…” He stopped to think.
“Wait… you guys were going to remove me from the team?” Daiwa slowly realized the situation was dire.
“Uhm… Yeah? We talked about it. Separately, sorry.” Vitaliya looked away awkwardly.
“We personally didn’t want that to happen! Right Alwin?” Antin looked at Alwin directly.
“Uh… Yeah… W-we didn’t-” Alwin began.
“No! You did, Alwin! You have to stick up for yourself!” Vitaliya pushed Alwin towards Antin.
“Uh- O-okay…? Ehem. Antin… I did want to… I wanted to-” Alwin looked up at Antin.
“You wanted to what?” Antin furrowed his brow.
“I- uh… Wanted her to stay with us!” Alwin looked really uncomfortable.
“Good.” Antin smirked.
“Hey! You guys could always take someone from us! We don’t have a vandal, remember?” Blaze suggested.
“Oh! Did I not tell you…?” Allen intervened. “After a while, your team will get a new vandal! Because how would that be fair if you got to live in peace the rest of your lives?”
“So, we don’t have a vandal for this game, but in future rounds we’ll get one? Is that right?” Rachel asked, trying to understand it better.
“Exactly!” Allen smiled.
“Then what’s the point of voting?” Boyan asked uncertainly.
“Well, that’s why this challenge is going to be special! You guys get immunity! And there is gonna be THREE losing teams!”
“Woah… That sucks… But that means they can still trade with us and have no repercussion.” Blaze smiled.
“Oh… I guess so.” Allen shrugged.
“We’re still trading Daiwa for Buddy.” Robert decided after the team conversed with each other.
Calvin watched the whole event play out. He wasn’t sure how to react. He looked over at his brother, who was watching everything else. He looked over and saw Edgar staring at his brother. He nudged Callum and pointed to Edgar. Callum looked over to see Edgar quickly look away.
“Alright! Have you all selected the people going to the island?!” Allen went up to each team and collected the selected players.
“Let’s see if I’ve got this right! For the Argonauts, it is Quinn, Eric, and Arizona. For the Olympians, it’s Robert, Buddy, and Jaydan! For the Sirens, it’s Walter, Sebastian, and Joshua. With the Harpies are Rachel, Katerina, and Robin. And finally, the Athenians team is Calvin, Kyomi, and Kozue! Right?” Allen double checked.
“Yup, that’s right!” Katerina nodded and smiled.
“I’m so ready for this!” Kyomi grinned.
“Alright! Listen, Pawel! When we’re on that island, we’re in charge! So, you do as we say! Got it?” Eric made a fist and leaned over Pawel
“Sounds good to me!” Pawel grinned and shrugged.
“Do you have to go to their team?” Sebastian asked Buddy, a hint of sadness in his voice.
“Yes. But remember what I told you. Do your best, we can still stay allies. And we can still stick together.” Buddy comforted Sebastian.
“Okay…” His friend sighed.
“Let’s begin the relay race! Here’s how it works! The people staying here with me will be the ones in the race. You must run over and grab one item and run back. Your goal is to get the most supplies for your team that’s going to the other island! Once you bring back an item, you run back and tag the next teammate! Ready? GO!” And the teams were off.
Callum was the first on the other side. He grabbed a pack of matches and ran back. Soon, Edgar, Vitaliya, and Aurora made it to the other side. Aurora shoved Vitaliya to the ground, and then something caught her eye. “Ooh! Designer nail polish!” Aurora grabbed it and ran back.
“Hey! What was that for?!” Vitaliya got up and brushed herself off; she grabbed a tarp and ran back.
“Okay Aurora. What did you get?” Rosamund asked as Aurora tagged Owiti and he began his sprint to the other side.
“This!” Aurora held up the nail polish.
“What… is that?” Daiwa raised an eyebrow.
“It’s designer nail polish!” Aurora grinned.
“You know that all three of the people going to the island… are guys? Right?” Daiwa frowned.
“Seriously Aurora?” Rosamund crossed her arms, who was beginning to lose her chill with her.
“It’s not for them! Stupid! It’s for me!” Aurora put it in her pocket.
“Aurora… You amaze me sometimes…” Daiwa slapped her face.
Eithe grabbed a knife and ran back to her team and tagged Josaphine. Josephine snatched a tarp and tagged Callum again. He ran over, but when he got there, he saw Edgar staring at him again. “Can I help you…?” he asked quietly.
“Yes. You may. I swear that I have seen your face somewhere… but where?” Edgar studied him.
“Have you been sitting here this whole time… stalking me?” Callum asked awkwardly.
“Huh? OH!” Edgar quickly grabbed something and ran back.
“Took you long enough!” Beatrice yelled. “We’ve been yelling at you for almost twenty hours! What did you get?!” Beatrice pushed Arizona away.
“This…?” Edgar held it up.
“YOU TOOK A MILLION YEARS, TO GRAB A FRISBEE?!” Beatrice yelled again.
“Hmph. Well, if you don’t appreciate my efforts, I might as well give up trying!” Edgar walked past her.
“Ugh! I’m on a team with losers!” Beatrice ran when Arizona came back, and grabbed the last item, which was a knife.
“Looks like everything is gone! Let’s see what the teams have! The Argonauts have… three items! A frisbee, a knife, and a small tent. Were you guys wearing blind folds or something? Never mind! Next, the Olympians have a knife, a lighter, a can of bug spray-”
“I grabbed that!” Antin said proudly.
“It was also the only thing you grabbed.” Vitaliya whispered.
“A tarp and a med kit!” Allen pointed to each object.
“Hey, we did pretty good…!” Alwin smiled.
“With the Sirens, they got camp food, a couple matches, some rope, and a tarp! Oh… and nail polish? Why was that even up there?” Allen inspected the bottle.
“That’s mine!” Aurora snatched it from him.
“Yeesh… okay! Next, we have the Harpies. They got… glasses? Some camp food, bottled water, cards, and a multi tool… Interesting.
“Thos glasses will be useful later.” Rachel explained.
“Sure…? Well, now the Athenians! They got a knife, a tarp, a pack of matches, a hunter’s bow, and some camp food! Here’s one last gift for all of you! Walky talkies! Only use them if you’re in serious danger and must leave the island. Here are the rules! Your team must survive one night on this island and complete this checklist! If you return early, or without the completed check list, then you’re up for elimination!” Allen explained.
Allen showed the fifteen contestants to a boat. The ones staying behind waved as they left the dock and sped out to sea. “I wish them the best of luck.” Arizona said quietly.
“Ha! Your teammates are going to die!” Aurora smiled proudly.
“I know mine will, because they didn’t bring me!” Antin crossed his arms angrily.
“It’s no wonder they wouldn’t choose you… Vandal!” Vitaliya raised her voice. “Who are you calling a vandal? Vandal!” Antin sneered.
“You take that back!” Vitaliya leaned closer aggressively. “You said it first! Besides-”
“Vitaliya, I appreciate you standing up for me… But I think you’re taking it too far…” Alwin pushed the two away. “And Antin, I still want to be friends with you! But you have to be nicer. Okay?” Alwin looked between his friends.
“Fine…” they both muttered.
“Antin, do you want to go and uh… bake? Maybe? Or play chess?” Alwin asked hopefully.
“Fine. Let’s go.” Antin pulled Alwin away from Vitaliya.
“Hmph…” Vitaliya crossed her arms.
On the island, the teams were dropped off, and most of them got straight to work. “First on our check list is to set up a camp. Then we have to build a fire!” Katerina read through the list.
“Wait… How are we supposed to make a fire with no matches or lighters!?!?” Robin searched through their supplies with increasing annoyance.
“I hate to agree with Robin… but he’s right. How are we gonna do that?” Katerina had a concerned look on her face.
“Simple! We take the glasses… and…” Rachel gathered a pile of dry sticks and leaves on the beach. She held the glasses up to the sunlight, and soon one of the leaves began to burn.
“Wow…” Katerina whispered.
“Woah… that’s actually kind of cool… But still stupid that we didn’t bring matches!” Robin yelled.“Well… Let’s look what we got…” Quinn said miserably. He held up the frisbee, the knife, and the tent.
“How are we supposed to make a fire…?” Pawel asked.
“That doesn’t matter!” Eric yelled at Pawel.
“Uh… yes it does?” Quinn corrected. “We need to make a fire.” Quinn showed him the list.
“Well, we first need to build a place to stay. That’s easy! All we need to do is build the tent. Pawel, get to work! Quinn and I will make the fire!” Eric yelled.
“Yes sir!” Pawel saluted and began setting up the tent.
“So should we just… hit two rocks together?” Quinn asked uncertainly.
“Worth a shot!” Eric gathered rocks and began to do just that.“Hm… I guess we should tie this tarp to the rope and make a sort of shelter…?” Kozue suggested.
“Well, we can’t just do it on the beach! We have to find a secluded spot in the middle of the jungle.” She pointed to the jungle in the center of the island, where the sand tapered off. “Besides, everyone will be building their shelter on the beach. Let’s not be boring!” Kyomi trekked into the jungle. Calvin shrugged and followed her.
“Fine… I guess.” Kozue started walking behind Calvin.
“Wait!” Kyomi halted “A pig…!” Kyomi pointed to a pig sniffing around on the ground.
“This reminds me of a book I once read. If we find a conch shell, I’m going home…” Kozue said worriedly. Soon the three found a spot under a barrier of trees. They got to work pitching their tarp up with the rope they had. And then they set up a fire.
“Next step! Make some food.” Calvin read from the list.
“We don’t need that list! We can do whatever we want!” Kyomi leaned against a tree., folding her arms.
“But… we should really do what the list says…” Kozue said.
“Eh! You guys can do that! I’m gonna sit here and relax! We finally got away from everyone else, and I want to enjoy myself.” Kyomi replied, fingering her gold bracelet. Calvin and Kozue gave each other a look.
“We need to find some food. Based on these tracks, I’d say a pig came through here.” Buddy observed.
“Buddy, I know you’re on our team now, and all… but I say we set up the tent and fire first.” Robert said as he began to unwrap the tarp.
“Yeah… and we kind of don’t trust you…” Jaydan added. “You’re from an enemy team. And you could be trying to sabotage us.”
“Oh.” Buddy stood up. “I understand. I’m not trusted here.” He nodded. “Well, I’ll catch a pig and get us some dinner. Jaydan, make a fire.” Buddy threw the lighter at him. “I’ll be back with a pig!” Buddy ran off. “
“Do you trust him…?” Jaydan looked up at Robert. He shook his head slowly.
“Come on, team, here will be the perfect spot! Using the rope and tarp as a sort of roof out here, and then building the fire inside of the cave should be perfect!” Walter envisioned his idea.
“That’s a pretty good idea. And without Aurora here, she can’t screw everything up!” Joshua began working on the fire.
“Right…” Sebastian nodded and began to tie up the tarp. He stopped and looked at nothing.
“Hey… You good?” Joshua stopped gathering sticks and looked up at Sebastian. “Yeah… I guess.” He shrugged. “I just kind of miss Buddy, that’s all.”
“It’s okay! Besides, it hasn’t even been a day! And it’s not like you two can’t see each other later.” Joshua gave a smile.
“You’re right.” Sebastian smiled.
“Now, I got to get back to this… Wait! Oh shoot! Where did I put the lighter?!” Joshua began to quickly look around the dead leaves. He found nothing.“What do you mean it’s stupid that we didn’t bring matches? We clearly don’t need them if we can use glasses!” Katerina said excitedly.
“Well… yeah. But without matches, this is gonna take a way longer time!” Robin said, sitting down on a dead log.
“Well, whatever. I’m going to gather some food! I think there’s some fruit in those trees!” Katerina approached a tree began to climb.
“I’m not eating those!” Robin crossed his arms.
“Yeesh! You should live a little!” Katarina said as she climbed down and bit into a banana she grabbed.Quinn was hitting his head into the frisbee over and over again. “This. Is. So. Stupid.” He said each time he hit it.
“Ugh! Why is this taking so long?” Eric threw the rocks on the ground in frustration.
“Uhh… Guys? I think I could use some help…” Pawel was tangled in the tent poles.
“Here, let me help…” Quinn said as he began to set up the tent.
“Thanks… Can I see that knife and rock?” Pawel asked as he picked up the knife. “Whatever.” Eric tossed it to him. Pawel flipped the knife around to the blunt side and began striking them together, soon they had a roaring fire.“Hey! Kyomi! We need you to get up and do something for us.” Calvin said promptly. “Ughhh! You guys are just like the others! Work, work, work! Why can’t I do something actually FUN?!” Kyomi opened one of her eyes to see Kozue and Calvin standing over her. “By the way, where have you guys been?” She sat up.
“We did all this.” Kozue gestured with one hand. Kyomi looked around, there was a tarp hanging over some trees with moss for insolation and stones for support. A fire was a fire built, full of life.
“We need you to-” Calvin began.
“Nope! Thanks for the shelter though!” Kyomi walked over to the shelter, but before she could lay in it, Kozue pulled her back.
“Only people who worked get to go in!” She stated, an edge to her voice.
“Fine! What do I have to do?” Kyomi asked miserably.
“Hunt. That’s-” Calvin began.
“I’M ON IT!” Kyomi grabbed the hunter’s bow and ran out of the camp.
“I think we just let a bull lose in a China shop…” Calvin said worriedly. “She’s gonna shoot everything that moves. Right?”Buddy walked through the forest; he found some berries along the way. “I don’t hold against them…” Buddy said bitterly. “I wouldn’t trust a new member either. But I’m not here to sabotage them!” He picked up a rock and threw it into a bush. He paused, listening. Voices sounded from a few feet beyond the bushes.
“Wow! Pawel! How’d ya learn to do that?!” Buddy peered through them, and saw Quinn go up to a crackling fire.
“I was wondering one day if you could make a fire with a knife. So, I looked it up! Turns out, I was right.” Pawel said proudly.
“Maybe you aren’t like the others!” Eric slapped Pawel’s back.
“Yeah, you’re way cooler than them!” Quinn grinned.
“Really?” Pawel smiled.
“Great… What should I do? Turn around, or talk to them?” Buddy thought to himself.“No! No! No!” Joshua kept rummaging through the leaves. “I can’t believe I lost it!” Joshua put his face into his hands. “Great. This is just what we needed!”
Walter dropped the sticks he was carrying and helped Joshua look for it. Sebastian watched them; he went back to tie the tarp to the tree.
“Sebastian! Help us!” Walter ordered.
“Huh? Oh, sorry!” Sebastian jumped down and began to help them search.
“Just perfect!” Walter groaned. “It’s going to get dark any second now, and we don’t have a fire!” He shook his head, pondering what to do as the others continued to search.Katerina threw up.
“It’s… Uh… okay? Why are you throwing up?” Rachel patted Katerina’s back.
“I think it’s because of the fruit!” Robin crossed his arms. “Glad I didn’t eat any!” He smirked.
“Wait… the fruit? Oh no…!” Rachel’s stomach churned as she clutched it.
“Where’s the walky talkie? We need to get you two home!” Robin looked through their supply.
“Wait! Robin!” Rachel coughed before adding, “I… We need to win this! What’s next on our list…?” She sat down against a tree, muttering to herself, “I swear, Trevor’s going to have a fit when he hears about this.”
“Too late, found it! Let’s get home. At least we won’t have to sleep here!” Robin turned the walky talky on. “Hello? Yeah… Rachel and Katerina are sick…. Okay! Our location? Uh… It’s by the rocks on the beach. Good…” Robin turned off the walky talky. “We’re heading home.” He shrugged.
“No! That means we’ll lose!” Katerina fell to the ground, moaning with her legs curled up towards her body. “And it’s all my faul-” Katerina stopped herself before throwing up again. “Ew…”Kyomi creeped through the island. She saw a bird and fired an arrow towards… she missed. “Dang! I haven’t gotten anything!” She stomped her foot. She then spotted a pig… She aimed…
“Woah! Look at that!” Quinn was looking out at the sea; there was a boat driving by.
“That’s the first eliminated team!” Pawel’s eyes went wide.
“What do you think happened?” Eric asked.
“Based on Katerina leaning over the edge, and the fact that she wasn’t seasick on the way over here, they probably ate something rotten or uncooked.” Pawel shrugged.
“Wow… Let’s not do that.” Quinn said.
Suddenly, a streak of brown flashed by.
“GET THAT PIG!” Kyomi cried, racing through Eric’s camp.
“Hey! What do you think you’re doing?!” Eric chased after Kyomi. The pig trampled over the frisbee while running. Pawel picked it up.
“Hey… what’s this sticker?” Pawel read carefully. “Congratulations, this is a get home free frisbee.” Pawel read aloud. “What? How does that work?” Pawel jumped up in excitement.
“I don’t know! But let’s call Allen and tell him we have it!” Quinn searched for their walky talky. Buddy took his chance. He jumped from the bush he was hiding in and grabbed the frisbee.
“Hey!” Pawel yelled and took after him.
“Hey! Allen! We got the get home free frisbee! What does that mean…?” Quinn asked.
“It’s simple! You’ll earn immunity! AND get to go home safely! It’s a win-win!” Allen’s voice crackled through.
“Woah! Really?!” Quinn asked, his voice rising in excitement.
“Yup! Do you have the frisbee with you?”
“Uh… About that…” Quinn began.
“You can only leave if you have the frisbee! See you tomorrow!” Allen hung up.
“DARN YOU!” Quinn yelled.
Buddy dashed through the forest as fast as he could.
“Buddy! Please my team needs this!… I need this!” Pawel yelled, dodging branches and leaping over roots.
“Sorry! But I need it too! My team doesn’t trust me yet!” Buddy pushed on harder, leaving Pawel in the dust.
“But… This is my only chance to prove that I’m strong!… Please! This could be my first chance to prove that I’m strong! This whole game… I’ve done nothing for my team! Please… Please can I have this?!” Pawel yelled. “Buddy! You stole it from me! Please?!”
Buddy stopped. It was true, he had stolen it from Pawel unjustly. Buddy turned around hesitantly. “I… I guess you’re right…” Buddy sighed. “It’s yours. And- And I can earn their trust another way.” Buddy threw it towards Pawel.
“AHHH!!” Kyomi ran through, with Eric chasing her. The frisbee hit Eric in the head.
“OOF!” He fell to the ground.Calvin handed Kozue some water. “Here, this water should be clean to drink. I drank from it earlier.”
“Wow! Thanks!” Kozue drank some from a coconut shell. “Hey! Look, Kyomi is back! What’d you get?”
Kozue and Calvin stood up as Kyomi approached.
“This!” Kyomi held up an object.
“A… frisbee?” Calvin looked at her like she was crazy.
“Not just any frisbee! It lets us go home for free!” Kyomi smiled proudly.
“Wait, really?!” Kozue grabbed the frisbee.
“Yup! And I stole it from Pawel!”
“Wow! How did you escape from Eric though!?” Calvin looked at Kyomi.
“Uhh… About that…” Kyomi laughed nervously.
“WHERE ARE YOU?!” Eric’s shout echoed through the jungle.
“Let’s go!” Kyomi grabbed the walky talky and bolted.
“Yeah!… Let’s!” Kozue ran after Kyomi with Calvin close behind.
5 minutes later
“Hmm… It appears someone else has gotten out.” Robert watched as the boat drove by.
“Huh?” Jaydan looked up. “Oh! I guess… But can you help me cook this fish, or something? I’ve never really cooked over a fire before.” Jaydan turned his attention back to the fish.
“Oh! Sure.” Robert turned back to the fire.
“HEY! LOSERS!” Kyomi yelled as she waved. “BYE!”
Of course, Robert and Jaydan couldn’t hear her.“Wow! Thanks Kyomi! Thanks to you, we get to go home!” Kozue smiled.
“Of course! Anything for my team!” Kyomi sat back down in her seat, satisfied.
“Wow, where was that attitude when we needed it?” Calvin rolled his eyes. “You’ll do anything for your team as long as it’s easy!” He laughed.
“Shut up!” Kyomi crossed her arms, indignant.
10 minutes earlier
“Are you okay, Eric?” Pawel helped Eric up.
“Yeah…” He rubbed his head. “Kyomi went totally crazy and tried to shoot me with an arrow!” Eric shouted.
“What?!” Pawel gaped.
“Yeah! I’m glad it missed! I ran towards her, grabbed her bow, and broke it on a tree! Then she took off! I wasn’t done with her though!” Eric growled.
“Yeah… Good thing you’re okay!” Pawel said.
“Yes.” Buddy nodded. “And this is for you.” Buddy picked up the frisbee and handed it to Pawel.
“Thanks! And Eric, Let’s get back to the- OOF!” A stick was thrown at Pawel, causing him to fall to the ground. “Ow!” Pawel grabbed his leg.
“Mine!” Kyomi grabbed the frisbee and disappeared into the foliage.
“HEY! GET BACK HERE, YOU PSYCOPATH!” Eric ran after her.
“No! No, no, no!” Pawel exclaimed. “I- I failed!” He put his head down. “It’s okay.” Buddy kneeled next to him. “Now you can win by actually playing the game.”
Buddy smiled. Pawel looked up.
“I- I guess you’re right…” Pawel put his head back down.
“And even if you don’t win, who’s going to vote you out? You’re a great person!” Buddy helped Pawel up.
“You really think so?” Pawel asked hopefully.
“Yeah! And don’t worry. I’m sure Eric will get the frisbee back too!”
“Really!?” Pawel jumped up. “Of course. He’s Eric!” Buddy laughed. Pawel joined him.
“Yeah…” Pawel smiled. “Thanks, Buddy! See ya… And good luck! I better get to work, just in case we don’t get the frisbee!” The two parted ways.
“Okay! It’s fine! We don’t need a fire! We just need to complete the rest of the check list!” Walter finally said, after wasting the whole day searching.
“Or… we could just check everything off and say we did it!” Joshua suggested.
“What? That’s cheating!” Walter yelled.
“Yeah! I know! That’s why we should do it!” Joshua looked at Walter like he was stupid.
“But…” Walter tried to think of something.
“I’m with Walter.” Sebastian said. “We shouldn’t cheat. Buddy wouldn’t! So, I won’t!” He nodded firmly.
“Fine! Whatever.” Joshua rolled his eyes.
“We need a way to… has that drone always been there?” Walter asked, pointing at the drone that was following them.
“Uh… I think so? How have we not noticed it?” Joshua looked up.
“So that’s what the buzzing sound was!” Sebastian remarked.
“Gee! Walter! I can’t believe you wanted to cheat!” Joshua said loudly.
“Shut it.” Walter said flatly.Buddy walked along in the woods; he soon found his camp on the cliff near the water. He hiked up to see what his teammates accomplished.
“Where were you?” Robert asked gruffly.
“I was scavenging and hunting. All I got was some fruit though.” Buddy shrugged and handed them the berries he picked. He decided not to tell them about the frisbee.
“I helped Robert with the shelter and the fire. Maybe we could cook some of these?” Jaydan grabbed a few berries and put them on a stick. He roasted it over the fire slowly.
“I think we’ll make it. We’ve got a good shot at winning.” Robert finally said after a moment of silence.
“What makes you so sure?” Buddy asked.
“Well, the last two things on our check list are to sleep and go home.” Robert grinned.
“Really?” Jaydan grabbed the list. “Wow! Yeah! Build a shelter, make a fire, obtain food from the island, go for a swim (I did that while you were gone), explore, sleep, and go home!… Wait… there’s one more thing we still need to do, besides sleeping and going home. We need to help a different team…” Jaydan let his hand drop. “How are we supposed to do that?”
Buddy smirked, “You can cross that one off! I already did that.” He lay down to rest. Jaydan and Robert looked at each other and shrugged.“Well… We’re going to lose…” Walter slumped down.
“Oh my goodness… Please don’t murder me… but… I found the light?” Joshua said uncertainly.
“Where?!” Sebastian jumped up.
“Uh… here? In my pocket…?” Joshua grinned awkwardly.
“JOSHUA!” Walter began.
“Kidding! It’s not here! See?” Joshua flipped his pockets inside out. “I just wanted to see your reactions.”
“Welp! Good night!” Joshua added as the two stared at him with a glint of rage. He crawled into their dilapidated shelter. Sebastian shook his head, joining Joshua.“I kinda wish you caught her.” Quinn said, resting his elbow on his knee and gazing into the fire. “We’d be at the hotel by now, asleep in soft, warm beds!”
“It’s all my fault… If I hadn’t been so careless with it…” Pawel sighed.
“It’s not your fault!” Eric raised his voice. “It’s that rat, Kyomi!” Eric clenched his fists. “I think it’s time to go to bed… See ya guys in the morning.” Eric went into the tent.
“Uh, are you coming, Quinn?” Pawel stopped.
“Hm? Oh… no. I think I’m gonna sleep out here tonight.” he said quietly, looking at the stars.
“You good?” Pawel sat next to him. “Yeah… it’s just… We’re probably gonna lose… And…” Quinn stopped. “
Are you scared of being eliminated?” Pawel guessed.
“Yeah… But it’s not just that! It’s Eric! I can tell people don’t like him. Between you and me, I know he’s only been a jerk! I think… I think he’s going to get out.”
“Nah, I don’t think so.” Pawel replied after a moment.
“Huh? What makes you so sure?” Quinn sat up.
“Uhhh… hey, what do you need the money for?” Pawel questioned.
“… I’ll tell you… okay? Just, don’t tell anyone! And don’t make fun of us.” Quinn gave Pawel a look that said he meant it, before saying, “Okay… good… There’s this pizza shop in our neighborhood. It’s going out of business. And… me and Eric want to save it.” Quinn blushed a little.
“Oh… that’s not a bad reason if the pizzeria means a lot to you.” Pawel chuckled.
“… Thanks Pawel… Good night.” Quinn laid back down. Pawel lay down on the other side of the fire. That morning, the boat came around and picked up everyone else left on the island. The bus took them home once they reached the dock. When they got to the main stage, their teams were there to greet them.
“Eric! Quinn! Pawel! Did you complete everything on the list?!” Beatrice yelled.
“Calm down! Bea! I’m sure they did!” Arizona rolled her eyes.
Edgar walked up, following him was Callum. “What’s good?” Edgar asked, an uncharacteristic nonchalance in his tone.
“Edgar, are you feeling alright?” Pawel asked, taken aback.
“Yup! Did ya guys win? Or were ya total losers?” He grinned.
“Uh… I’m not sure. I gotta give the list to Allen.” Pawel walked past Callum, notcing something… off… “Callum… Have you always had that earring?” He pointed to the blue and gold earring Callum had on his left ear.
“Ya! Of course I did! I gotta go to my own team! See ya Edgar!” Callum waved. He winked before leaving.
“What happened to you?” Eric looked confused and angry.
“Nunya business!” Edgar replied.
Arizona sighed. “I’ll tell you the story later.”“Well, did you succeed?” Antin asked as he pulled out his phone.
“I think so.” Robert nodded.
“Good! Give me that!” Antin took the list. “Come along, Alwin! We’re going to turn this into Allen.” Antin waited for a moment. “Alwin?” He turned around.
“And that’s how I got this scar!” Alwin and Vitaliya laughed. Antin frowned, his nose scrunched.“Good job, Jaydan.” Robert patted Jaydan on the shoulder.
“Thanks! I mean, without your help, we would’ve lost.” Jaydan smiled.
“We also would’ve lost if it wasn’t for Buddy.” Robert looked over at Buddy, who was conversing with Sebastian.
“And so we couldn’t find the lighter. But I mean, at least we got home. I guess?” Sebastian shrugged.
“Hey, at least you didn’t cheat!” Buddy chuckled.
“Yeah, I guess so.”“I can’t believe we couldn’t find the lighter!” Walter lamented.
“It’s okay!” Owiti tried to cheer him up. “I lose stuff all the time! Like this little glass rabbit! Or my own plane ticket… Maybe my bad luck rubbed off on you… sorry.” Owiti wasn’t sure what to say.
“You should’ve gotten better supplies… by the way! How do you like my nail polish?” Aurora showed them her nails.
“I SWEAR… AURORA!” Joshua yelled.
“Relax! You win some and lose some! It’s fine!” Rosamund stepped in.
“Yeah… I hope I get eliminated.” Daiwa sighed.
“I HEARD THAT, DAIWA!” Arizona shouted. “We’re going to win this! Okay?!”
“Whatever.” Daiwa shrugged.Katerina walked up and sat next to Vitaliya and Alwin on the bus.
“Katerina! We were just talking about the time Alwin baked a cake and put way too much vanilla!” Vitaliya smiled.
“Cool… Ooh… My stomach hurts…” Katerina clutched her stomach.
“Oh! Are you okay?” Vitaliya asked, looking at her worriedly.
“Yeah… Just some aftermaths of my own doings… ha!” Katerina replied, trying to ignore the pain.“And we would’ve won if it wasn’t for Katerina!” Robin said harshly to Boyan. “Wow. Frustrating.” Boyan could clearly care less.
“And to make it worse, our great ‘leader;, Rachel, ate some too!” Robin growled.
“Hey! It’s not their fault! It’s not like they knew those berries were rotten or something!” Blaze said, turning round in his seat.
“Yeah, no point in throwing blame.” Nathan added.
“Alright, everyone! It’s time to reveal who’s safe! We all already know that the Athenians are safe since they brought back the super special frisbee!” Allen held it up for everyone to see.
“That’s all thanks to Kyomi!” Calvin said proudly.
“Nice job!” Josephine high-fived Kyomi.
“Thanks, I know, I know! I’m just that cool!” Kyomi whipped out some sunglasses and put them on as her team praised her.
“The next team safe is…. The Olympians!” Allen announced. “That means the Argonauts, the Sirens, and The Harpies are up for elimination! Remember, one vote per team. Try to eliminate the vandal! And next game the Harpies will get a new vandal!”
“WAIT!” Nathan exclaimed. “Didn’t you say we get immunity for this vote?!”
“I did? OH YEAH! I DID!”
“So, we competed in the contest… for nothing?” Katerina said miserably.
“Not true! The two winners of this contest get a super special prize! It’s an immunity token. The voters get an extra vote! They can vote for who they want to get the immunity token on the two winning teams. That means, they get one vote per team for who they want to be eliminated and get one vote per winning team for who gets the immunity token. AND they get to vote for the next challenge! Good luck!”Elimination vote:

May 24, 2025 at 12:24 pm #203399Ahh!!! I loved the part when Buddy gave the frisbee back! I was cheering my boy all the way. And when the Sirens decided not to cheat. Pawel sounds like a great character. Kyomi is terrible! I wish I could vote her out.
