Yessss, the cringe ? It’s such a genuine mixture of appreciation for your past self but also disgust. I can’t believe I wrote some of the things on here.

like I would check KP at least 10 times every day ??

Same. Normally I don’t much. But I’m on break now and I decided to spend my time writing, so guess what? ? I’m back to checking KP repetitively to roleplay. It’s still as fun as when I first joined.

I am out of signature ideas

            LOLLLL! Yes!

Why do you think I didn’t eat any Cranberry Sauce of Thanksgiving??

(fr though, it was because I’m a picky person about recipes, and it was the wrong recipe)

ok I didn’t wanna make a new topic for this but I probably should have.

For those of you who are watching and following the Wingfeather Saga show:

How do you think they are going to do the end?

(Spoilers incoming for those who haven’t read the books, SCROLL DOWN QUICKLY!)

(are they gone yet? ok here we go.)

All right, so we have Janner’s heroic sacrifice at the end of The Warden and the Wolf King. The author specifically said that for theological reasons + because he wants his readers to THINK about the ending, he’s forever going to leave it ambiguous as to whether the First Well brings him back to life. (Personally, I like the idea of it going either way, but I feel the way it was written to cut off a little annoying.) That works great in a book, because it’s the kind of lesson you’ll expect in a book.

But a TV show? If he cuts off like that, you can expect there to be fans thinking that it’s not the end and there has to be more. Unless at the end of the last episode, he himself comes on screen and say “Yes, it’s finished, and here’s why” I don’t know if that ending is going to be as widely accepted as the book’s is. But if you go one way or the other, it’ll be betraying those reasons he had for ending it, and will likely also upset fans who held the other headcanon.

What do you think he’ll do? And do you believe Janner stayed dead or was brought back?

I personally think it’s kinda confusing. His death being undone kinda messes with the fact that the last thing he did was protect his brother, and will it do anything to the Anneiran ex-fangs? But at the same time, how will Kalmar ever be able to get into the Fane of Fire without his Throne Warden? (Artham could help I guess, but I don’t know if it works that way, or if he’s able to do it, or whatever.) I like the idea of all three siblings being alive, and it makes narrative sense, but at the same time it almost doesn’t make narrative sense if you catch my meaning.

                  **SPOILER DISCUSSED THROUGHOUT POST**

Hmm…I guess they could do what the book does with that spot pic of the First Well at the end. As if they’re saying “see, they found the well. Everything is going to be okay.” And then have Andrew Peterson come on and explain a bit. Or just end it with a couple flashbacks and have Janner’s Lay sung.

As for what I think happened I’m the actual book? I think he was revived, though perhaps never quite the same. He’s seen the other side of the river now. He literally poured out his own life. If that doesn’t change a person, I don’t know what would. And Kalmar is going to have to work through what Janner’s sacrifice means for them all either way. I’d like to think of Janner being there.

And I don’t think a resurection would affect what was restored, or be theologically wonky. What was given couldn’t be revoked. Theologically, I’ve heard plenty of testimonies of the dead being raised. It’s not like they quit being mortal. There comes a final death for all of us, unless the rapture catches us away first. God just wasn’t done with their story yet. And I don’t think Janner’s story was over yet either, or it didn’t have to be.

Also, I just like to think of Kal and Janner playing zibzy on the castle green like he promised.

                    @koshka Yeah, that’s true.

I take the revived headcanon too because I like that ending a lot better, but I could see why one might not share that view.

I haven’t been watching it, but I think after the book they managed to revive him. He’s my favorite character and I don’t want him permanently dead. 🙁

I’m glad you people like cranberry sauce. It’s fun to make.

Still don’t get why people eat it though. And on turkey no less. *gags*

Yes, I do every year, except this year because my Mom made canned cranberry sauce…hence why I didn’t eat it because it wasn’t the recipe I like.

I don’t eat it on anything, just straight cranberry sauce.

We have two varieties. I eat one on my turkey and one plain.
