Spiders terrify me. They are kill on sight if they’re in my house. I wish I was brave enough to touch them and put them outside without hurting them.
But anyways, have you ever seen a banana slug?
They’re everywhere in Oregon and in the rainforests near Washington’s coast. I think they’re cute.

One time back when I was a kid and lived further west a giant slug slimed on me and we couldn’t get it off, even had to use that like industrial soap that has sand beads in it. I was crying so hard 😭

@mineralizedwritings Oh gross I didn’t know they could be that bad. I used to pick up slugs all the time as a kid to take them out of the garden. (I washed my hands afterwards of course.)

I don’t even know who to tag in this conversation. XD I loath sluggs. They’re cute in theory, but they also creeped me out as a little child. I struggle with slimey/sticky things already, so they just aren’t my thing. Lol.
My mother likes Banana slugs though. She has a sticker with one on it beside the name of her home state. (It’s a cute cartoon.) If you are injured and need to numb something, banana slug slime is supposed to work wonders.
That’s a nightmare. I’d be crying too.
