Itβs a lot class. I really love it. The teacher is practically a genius. I could just listen to her talk for hours.

@hybridlore @highscribeofaetherium @euodia-vision sorry y’all, I had to lay down for a while, heh π and I also watched the first Captain America movie…so there’s that too XXD
but I’m back (at least for a little while!!)
@hybrid
yeahhh, that would make it weird XXD ikr? Only 2 more years…and I’m planning on trying to work super hard to skip one (mostly to try to join Sis at college, lol! π)
So, basically, one of the Bois’ uncles (Hans) sends someone to kill them, and Dietrich throws himself in the way, stopping the man but also giving his life for his stepbrothers πππ
tysm for the ideas!!! idk if I’ll write anything tonight, but we’ll see π
And no, I haven’t started school. I have the rest of this week and another whole week before school starts back, thankfully π and yeahhh, no co-ops, heh. idk if we have one in our area, nor do I think we could ever make it to any, with both mom and dad working full-time, so…yeah, no π
@euodia
Ahh, hope you get to feeling completely better soon!!! πππ

Hey guys! Does anyone know of any good science fiction books? I usually prefer young adult, but I can maybe get some adult ones too, if they’re clean.
I also like dystopian and occasionally fantasy!

@hybridlore Hmmm…I don’t really read Sci-Fi (which means never π), but as for Fantasy, of course there’s LOTR, Chronicles of Narnia, etc…pretty sure you’ve read or at least tried to read those tho XXD
My friend has recommended the fantasy series “Elven Chronicles”, but I haven’t tried them yet (she said there was a character similar to Bucky…lol…I think she’s trying to get me attached. π) but idk much about them, so you can do your own research and use your own discretion.
I also read a fantasy series a long time ago but I can’t remember what it was called…and I have gotten rid of it, heh. (got a little too magical and dark for my tastes)
and then there’s 1984 by George Orwell, a dystopian novel…but *ahem*…you may want to wait until you’re older for that one π (there were parts I HAD to skip…and truthfully, the book is so long I still haven’t finished it π)
but yeah…I gave, like, one recommendation. Wish I had more for you…but Historical Fiction is my fav…and I read almost nothing else, lol!
August 10, 2023 at 11:33 am #153568August 10, 2023 at 11:36 am #153569I started that!! The first one was really good!

Sorry I didn’t get tagged for that, lol π€
Yep, read Narnia, started LOTR! still haven’t finished it though, so there’s that.
Oh, okay! Maybe I’ll look into it! Yeah, I know, it’s hard to find serieses that don’t do that.. thanks though! Yeah, 1984 probably no π , maybe someday lol. I appreciate it!

August 10, 2023 at 11:50 am #153577I’ve only read the first one myself, but my parents say the rest is good too.
There’s Starship Troopers too. I don’t… think there was anything rough in it? That I can remember. We read it for ninth grade. The hero’s voice is hilarious, and it had that warm military brothers feel.

August 10, 2023 at 11:56 am #153578Ohhh, man, I bet xD Two and a half weeks?! π³ Are you feeling better now?βwell, besides from being tired lol.
yuuuuuuup, haha. Um… not really? XD I went to the doctor on Monday and I have some sort of sinus infection. They put me on medication but it hasn’t helped so far, but they did say it could take a week or so. But yeah, definitely not fun but God is giving me strength. π
Thatβs good! π Not much, just eating a snack and trying to figure out who replied to what, lol.
Fun, fun. XD
Did anyone already start school? None of you guys do any co-ops, right?
I haven’t yet! We do 4H and our fair is the end of August so we usually start after that. And nope, I don’t do any co-ops! What about you?

Hm… Whaley already mentioned the Space Trilogy… Have you read Left Behind? Ashtown Burials by N.D. Wilson? For fantasy I always recommend anything Tolkien. π

Thanks, girl! β€
