That last one is too weird though lol

What, is it implying he’s some kinda prince?

      Although……

      Actually….

@smiley Hey, I liked the bits of that story I read! It had a lot of typos, yes. It had a bit of a weird choppy plot, yes. But that didn’t mean it was bad.

Trust me, I can’t even read my old fanfics without cringing either. Especially not this one that I can’t even speak the name of.

(kinda want to draw it ngl. Probably won’t cause I NEVER GET AROUND TO DRAWING THINGS, but it makes me want to.)

(ik you’re still waiting on that request you gave me lol.)

Uh…sooooo I have another fanfic that I may be even MORE interested in right now (plus it helps that I’m already forming a plot for it, unlike the other new one 😅😝)

              and uhhhhhh…hehe…I like where it’s going…

              P R O L O G U E

              Pounding footsteps.

              Shrieks of help.

Shield in hand, body in position, Steve Rogers threw himself at the Hydra scientist attempting a frantic escape.

He’d experimented on tens, dozens, maybe even hundreds of innocent, impoverished teenagers and children.

Steve wouldn’t let him escape. He couldn’t.

The scientist turned; his cruel face twisted into a smirk. An odd gun rose, oddly shaped and oddly colored.

And time almost seemed to freeze.

              The weapon
the weapon of “mass destruction” Tony Stark and Nick Fury had discussed
the weapon that could
could
transport someone to another place in time.

“NO!” Steve screamed, but his scream faded, and all he knew
was darkness.

              Footsteps.

              Voices.

              Cusses and questions.

              Prodding, carrying, and positioning.

Steve moaned, torso burning and right arm aching.

              “Hey Sarge, he’s awake.”

“Back up, Erik. Give the man some space.”

“Hey Joseph, this kid kinda looks like-”

              “Erik, give him space!”

              “Yes, Sarge
sorry Sarge.”

“Honestly, Joseph, do these men bother you this much?”

“Yes Sarge, but we’re brothers in arms, so I don’t let them get to me.”

Steve’s eyes fluttered open; he heard a gun cock.

              “American or German?”

Steve groaned and slowly began to sit up; a few hands grabbed him and held him back down.

Groggy, Steve didn’t, and couldn’t, fight back. Such an odd and uneasy feeling now that he could defend himself. “W-What?”

“Are you on America’s side, or are you with the Germans and Austrians and the other blasted enemies?”

              “I-I’m A-American
”

“Why aren’t you with your unit, son? Got lost?”

              “Unit
? Wait, where-where am I?” Steve asked, suddenly alert, knowing that the men holding him down and questioning him could well be on Hydra’s side. He pushed back against two of them, easily slipping out of their grip.

“Hey, calm down! We’re Americans too. You’re in the trenches, lad, and I’d recommend you calm down.” The man whom the others had referred to as Sarge, Steve could tell because of his voice, warned, holding up an officer’s pistol.

Steve slowly nodded, knowing that he could take the men, but also understanding that he should wait to see if they were on his side or not
maybe.

Trust wasn’t exactly easy for him anymore.

“Joseph, see if this lad will listen to you
Erik may not be wrong. This kid does look a little like you.”

The man named Joseph crouched down in front of Steve. Donning the uniform of the American army, with an easy smile, and an awry blonde lock that remained stuck to his sweaty forehead, Joseph spoke. “You’re safe here. We’re all Americans, and we’re to help you out if you’ll let us. We’re not going to hurt you unless we have to, and we just want to get you back to your unit, alright? Now, what unit are you from?”

Steve stared at the man blankly. Blonde hair
sturdy build
kind
blue eyes that almost sparkled
a face he knew too well from pictures.

              Steve’s eyes met Joseph’s.

And Steve stared into the eyes of the Father he never got the chance to meet.
