      @keilah-h @freedomwriter76 @euodia-vision @mineralizedwritings

I was inspired by Pinterest and Freedom’s wonderful story to write a fic about Wanda and Pietro celebrating Christmas!!

Now you have two options for reading this

One: you can pretend that Pietro’s lives and that this is just a sweet story that will never end

      Two: You can cry

      I did option two

Wanda walked through the crowded streets. Pietro ran at a normal pace, (which he didn’t do often) giving food and coats to the people. Wanda had made her brother promise that none of the stuff would be stolen, which he did.

They didn’t have much money but Hydra took care of them, meaning that they could use the extra money to help the people of Sokovia.

“Everyone is enjoying their gifts,” Wanda stated as Pietro caught up to her.

“Yes, I’m like Santa to them,”

“And so very humble about it too,” Wanda grinned at her brother, stopping to give a basket of food to another family.

“Stark Industries has one goal, and that’s to make the improvements today, to help the world of tomorrow,”

Wanda and Pietro stopped in front of a tiny radio, hearing the voice of Pepper Potts giving a speech.

“Yes if tomorrow is war,” Wanda said, looking at her brother.

Pietro didn’t move, his feet felt planted t the ground, thoughts and memories coming back. Stark, that word could trigger so many terrible memories.

“Wanda!” Pietro screamed, pulling his sister under the bed.

The two looked up as a second shell hit, a red dot blinking, yet it didn’t go off but instead lay there, right in front of them. The word Stark was painted in white on it.

“Pietro!” Wanda’s accent echoed through Pietro’s head until he finally looked at her.

“I’m sorry what did you say?”

“Did it happen again?” Wanda set her hand on her brother’s shoulder.

“We there, starring at that bomb,”

“But we aren’t there, we’re right here, celebrating the holidays,” Wanda stated.

Pietro smiled at his sister, shaking off the pain, they could handle Stark later, right now they had better things to do.

Besides, she preferred to ignore the flashbacks, to ignore the pain and trauma.

“I’ll beat you there,” Pietro took off running.

Wanda didn’t want to run, she never ran, instead, she quickened her walking pace, letting her brother beat her.

She preferred the time to think anyway. She couldn’t help but look around the city, tired and starving people everywhere. Her brother wanted revenge, and she did too, but they needed more.

Perhaps killing Stark wasn’t enough, it would satisfy them for a while, but it wouldn’t help Sokovia or any other country.

Sokovia was a large country, filled with starving and thirsty people, organizations would say they’d help, and they’d give them food but never a way to get more, so when they left, the country went back to ruin.

Pietro and Wanda didn’t have enough money to feed all the people on their block, let alone a whole country.

But every December they tried to give gifts to everyone, coats, toys, and food. Whatever they could manage.

Pietro waited up for Wanda before opening the door. “What happened to racing,”

“The fact that I don’t like to run,”

Pietro rolled his eyes and then opened the building door. Wanda and Pietro both stepped inside, closing the door behind them. The hustling city noise faded and all they could hear was a faint Christmas song. It seemed so very peaceful and lovely, but then rumbling down the stairs, footsteps broke the silence, and the twins shared a smile.

Kids cascaded into the room, all excited to see the two, Pietro didn’t waste any time before carrying kids around on his back.

Wanda smiled at her brother, who truly had as much energy as all of the kids here in the orphanage. All of the kids were clearly starving, looking bony and worn, but that didn’t seem to stop their energy. I suppose they were used to not having much to eat.

In a matter of minutes, Pietro had them all playing a game of tag, every now and then Pietro would dart and a hint of his abilities would show, but not enough for any of the kids to really notice.

Wanda stood smiling at the kids, but she wasn’t certain where she was needed.

Suddenly a little girl came up beside Wanda, her brown hair covering most of her face.

Wanda knelt down to be the same height as the girl, smiling. “And who are you?”

“Olivia,” The girl said in a quiet whisper.

Wanda smiled, tucking the girl’s beautiful brown hair behind her ear. “Well Olivia, I’m Wanda, and it’s nice to meet you,”

      Olivia gave a faint smile.

      “Are you new?”

Olivia nodded, her face falling. “My Mommy and Daddy were taken by a fire in our apartment,”

Wanda looked into the girl’s green eyes, seeing the pain and sorrow this girl had felt. It felt so familiar to her, like not so long ago she had been the same way.

Pietro stopped mid-run to look at his sister in the corner of the room, he could see Wanda’s lips tremble. He continued to watch, not paying much attention to the game, but instead to the little girl and his sister.

“I understand, I lost my Mommy and Daddy too,” Wanda gave the girl a bright smile. “But I wasn’t alone,” Wanda shot a glance at her brother. “And neither are you,”

Olivia’s face lit up a little, smiling at Wanda.

“Pietro! What do you think of the tree?” David asked running up beside Pietro.

Pietro smiled at his sister and then looked at the tree. “I’d say it’s awesome, only it’s missing something,”

“What?” Olivia asked, turning her attention to Pietro.

“The presents under the tree of course,” Pietro announced, running out of the room, and coming back with a giant bag. He turned to Wanda. “See don’t I look like Santa,”

“Just hand out the gifts, Mr. Clause,”

Pietro did as he was told and began to give something to everyone, dolls, mits, and plenty more.

Olivia ran over to Wanda, her arms tucked around her gift, which she proceeded to hold up to Wanda. “Look I got a doll!”

      “She’s beautiful, what’s her name?”

Olivia gave held the doll tight. “Sarah, the same as my Mother’s name,”

“That’s a perfect name,” Wanda turned to watch as her brother gave Charles a Baseball.

“To practice those skills of yours,” Pietro winked at Charles.

“Just not around lamps,” Wanda instructed.

Pietro set the empty bag down, as all of the kids began to play with their toys.

He walked over to Wanda, his eyes meeting his sister’s. “You weren’t alone?”

Wanda rolled her eyes but then gave a sincere smile. “I lost a lot that day, but not everything,”

“I suppose we did overcome starvation, thirst, and poverty to be where we are,”

“And we’re still together,” Wanda looked at all the smiling kids, and then back at her brother. “Our fight isn’t over, it has just begun,”

      “We’ll fight together too,”

Wanda nodded, smiling at her brother. She then walked away, coming back with a hoodie. It was dark gray with a white pattern on the sleeves.

      “How did you get this?”

“I saved some money,” Wanda stated. “I know you want to help everyone, but I thought you needed a gift too,”

Pietro gave a soft smile to his sister, as one of the kids pressed play on the DVD player.

An old Christmas movie began to play, and everyone gathered to watch.

Wanda loved sitcoms and movies, and the happy endings were wonderful.

That was her dream, to someday have a simple life, with a husband and kids. It all sounded perfect to her.

Pietro slipped on his new sweatshirt and then smirked at Wanda. “It fits perfectly,”

Wanda leaned her head on her brother’s shoulder and smiled. “Of course it does, I’m just perfect like that,”

Pietro chuckled, smiling at his sister.

      They’d fight together, forever.

              Probably best that way

I of course had to read it the sad way… I always do XD

              @euodia-vision

              Thanks!!

There’s a deleted scene AOU where Pietro is handing out stuff to some Sokovians and that was some big inspiration for it

              Totally recommend watching it XD

I’m still mad that Marvel deleted a few scenes of Wanda and Pietro from AOU

                    Sooooo….

                    I need y’all’s input 😅

In my 6-fanfic series, the 5th fic involved a very powerful villain who, to complete his mission, opens up a wormhole-like thing that could grow big enough to engulf the entire universe if it isn’t stopped.

The hole engulfs the villain (Mind), and the Avengers are left with only one option: Someone leaping into the hole to destroy the core Mind used

HOWEVER, whoever does this…because of the power of the hole…

will have to sacrifice themself for everyone else

I need y’all’s opinion, because the one I’m considering to make the Heroic sacrifice is none other than….Sam Wilson, who is Captain America at this point.

His reasoning is that he doesn’t have a wife/kids and he can quickly fly in and destroy the core in the narrow timeframe they have to destroy it. He would thus make the heroic sacrifice…and leave the Captain America mantel to Bucky.

but uhhhhh…anyone have any thoughts on that?

                    i know it’s sad…đŸ˜đŸ˜žđŸ˜„đŸ˜but do y’all think it could work? 😊

                      @freedomwriter76

Really cool concept! I can see why you’re asking for advice lol…

I think it could work. I don’t feel particularly attached to Sam at all (I think because he doesn’t have a solo series) so I could care less whether it’s him or not 😭😭😭 ok but his sis would be devastated 😭

With it needing to be somebody that can fly… yeah it does make sense for it to be him.

                      Ok but idea here…

Both Thor and Captain Marvel (could include bruce as hulk) have the capacity to survive things the others cannot. Especially Captain Marvel, she’s like crazy strong. so you might need a reason for them to not be there in order for it to go to Sam, or of course maybe it’s so deadly not even they could survive it.  If you wanted Sam to survive, maybe he jumps it to destroy it them somebody else who can fly (thor or captain marvel) rescues him right before he dies.

Or… I know you might want him to die because sacrifices are sad XD if you want it to be a sacrifice, I think it should be Sam or like is peter quill here? That would be interesting and he might do it to redeem himself from the events of infinity war.

Also boy, Bucky’s had some life here, his friend became cap, they were on the ice for a long time, he becomes the winter soldier, and fights cap, cap dies, sam becomes cap, sam sacrifices himself… now he’s cap… like the poor guy 😭 I guess he can take it ;( he’s losing all his friends over here 😭

@freedomwriter76 yeah, idk if Bucky could handle that lol, nor Sam’s sister. Min made a point, Captain Marvel and Thor both also have the ability to fly and are far tougher, so if you really want Sam to do it, you’ll have to give a reason for the two of them to be either not there or incapacitated.

                          @mineralizedwritings
noooo not Peter! Not the character that made me like Marvel!!

I’m just kidding it would actually be an interesting ending. Sad, but….interesting

Here’s a couple scenes from the 5th fanfic for y’all!!!!!!

                              Bucky tho…😭

Peggy wiped her hands on her apron and cupped them around her mouth. “Natalie, Anthony, Ryo, I made brownies!”

Quick and heavy footsteps sounded, and all three of Peggy’s kids were in the kitchen. Peggy laughed. “Okay
okay
you three must have been hungry or something!”

“Your brownies are the best!” Anthony cried, taking one from the plate Peggy had already prepared.

“I’d agree,” Steve suddenly stepped into the room, wrapping one arm around Peggy and grabbing a brownie, “but nothing can be as sweet as your Mom in general.”

Peggy lightly smacked Steve in the side. “Oh, you.”

Natalie giggled, grabbing a brownie for herself.

Ryo took a bite out of his brownie, turning to face Steve. “Hey Dad, can I go with my friends to the movies tonight? We wanted to see the new Star Wars movie.”

Steve swallowed a bite of brownie and nodded, releasing Peggy. “I don’t see why not. Who’s gonna take you?”

“Landon is going to drive. His brother Jake and his sister Kylie are going too, and I also invited Morgan to come.”

Peggy faced Ryo with a teasing smile. She tsked. “Is this the Morgan Stark I know?”

Ryo blushed and turned away, eating away at his brownie.

Peggy shared a knowing look with Steve. Steve chuckled and pulled some cash out of his pocket. “Here Ryo, you can buy yours and Morgan’s tickets.”

Ryo smiled. “Thank you so much, Dad
this means a lot.”

Peggy heard her phone ring, and she picked it up off the kitchen counter. Oh, it was Madelene!

Peggy answered. “Hello? Madelene, how are you-?”

                              “Oh Peggy
Mason broke his arm, and-and Bucky isn’t here so the car isn’t here, and-and we couldn’t all get into the ambulance, and-and, oh Peggy, I can’t get to the hospital to take care of Mason!” Madelene sobbed, seemingly on the brink of collapse.

                              “Oh, Madelene
don’t cry, oh, please don’t cry
Mason will be okay, I promise.”

“I have no way of getting to him Peggy!”

                              “I know
oh, I know, hang on Madelene, give me a second.” Peggy turned to Steve and gave him the brief version of the situation.

Steve finished off his brownie and picked up his leather jacket off the back of one of the kitchen chairs. “Tell her I’m on my way.”

Peggy nodded and put her ear back up to the phone. “Madelene
Madelene, hey, take in deep breaths
Steve is on his way to take you and the other kids to the Hospital, okay? Yes, yes
just hang tight, oh, and make sure you have everything for the baby
yes, yes, everything’s going to be okay
Steve will be there soon, I promise.”

His boots echoed on the polished linoleum floors.

Reaching the room he needed, Bucky slammed the door open. “I’m here.”

Sitting in bed with a blue cast on his right arm, Mason’s blue eyes lit up. “Daddy!”

Bucky crossed the room, taking Mason into his arms. “Hey buddy, how are you feeling?”

Mason’s lower lip jutted out. He held up his cast. “I don’t like it, Daddy.”

“I know, but you gotta wear it for a while
come on buddy, how about you lay down for a little bit?”

Bucky helped his five-year-old son lay down. Mason yawned, and his eyes slowly closed.

“Took you long enough to get here.”

Bucky turned around to face his wife, who leaned against the wall close to the hospital room door. Bucky began to walk towards her. “I tried to get here sooner, but the mission-“

“Oh, don’t make excuses. Since when did missions become more important than your family?”

“Madelene, come on, missions aren’t more important-“

“You didn’t even answer your phone. I could have been dying and you wouldn’t have cared.”

Bucky wrapped his arms around his wife. “Madelene
”

Madelene pulled out of his embrace. “Don’t make excuses, Bucky
I can’t hear excuses right now.”

“Madelene, come on, at least I tried-“

The door opened and the doctor stepped inside. The man smiled. “I apologize
am I interrupting something?”

Madelene turned around with a smile. She shook her head. “Not at all. What’s the report
are we able to take Mason home?”

The man smiled and nodded. “Yes, Mrs. Barnes, but I will recommend keeping a child-safe pain medication on hand, which I have already written a prescription for and will have my nurse give to you for whenever Mason is feeling some pain. It will make him sleepy, however, so please keep that in mind. I will see Mason again in five weeks to remove the cast.”

Madelene thanked the doctor, and when the nurse came in, she took the bottle of medicine with a warm tone and an even warmer smile.

She slipped the medicine into her purse and went to Mason, gently picking him up and settling him on her hip, his head laid on her shoulder. Madelene walked past Bucky. “We should get Mason home.”

Bucky followed after his wife. “Madelene, I-“

“This isn’t the place.” Madelene interrupted, voice hard.

Bucky followed Madelene downstairs and into the waiting room, where their other kids and Steve’s family, minus Ryo, waited.

Peggy stood the second they entered the room. “How’s Mason? Is he alright?”

“He has to come back in five weeks to get the cast removed,” Madelene rubbed Mason’s back and smiled softly, “but he’s okay
the doctor gave us some pain medicine for him.”

Peggy smiled gently, eyes on Mason. “Poor baby.”

Branson rushed to Madelene, trying to stretch to see his twin brother. “Mama, I wanna see Mason!”

Madelene pressed a finger to her lips. “Shh, he’s sleeping, Branson. You need to be quiet
we’re going home, baby.”

“I wanted to stay with Anthony, Mama-“

“We need to get home, darling
not tonight, okay? Maybe later.”

Branson’s lower lip jutted out in a pout. “But Mama
”

“Hey, what Mama says goes, okay? We should probably all get plenty of rest tonight, okay?” Bucky said to Branson, somewhat roughly, although he didn’t mean to sound that way.

“Oh, so now I and the kids matter.” Madelene muttered.

“Madelene,” Peggy scooped Charlotte into her arms, “how about I help you get the kids in the car while Bucky makes sure Mason is completely checked out of the hospital?”

Madelene nodded and faked a smile. “Thank you, I’d really appreciate it.”

Peggy turned to face her own kids. “Anthony, Natalie, come along. Branson, take your mama’s free hand,” Peggy picked up Grace’s baby carrier, “and I’ll get Charlotte and Grace.”

Bucky handed Madelene the car keys, and the two women and the six kids disappeared out the hospital doors. Bucky went to the counter to make sure everything was settled, which took several minutes.

Only when he exited out the doors did he realize Steve hadn’t left. “What do you want?”

“What’s with you and Madelene, Buck?”

                              “What’s with what? Nothing’s wrong-“

“Yeah, don’t lie to me. You may think you’re a good liar, but you’re not.”

Bucky smirked, walking out into the parking lot. “Better than you.”

“Yeah, I can tell you’re trying to avoid the question. What’s between you and Madelene, Bucky?”

                              “Nothing. Bug off.”

Steve grabbed Bucky’s arm and turned him around, making the two best friends face each other. “Bucky, don’t lie to me.”

“Can you just leave me alone? I don’t want to talk-“

“It’s because you didn’t show up immediately, isn’t it? You were on a mission with Sam and the others, and you didn’t get here
and Madelene didn’t take it the right way.”

Bucky shoved Steve away. “Stay out of my business. I can handle this myself, Steve, so stay out of it.”

Steve grabbed Bucky’s arm and pulled him back. “I don’t think we’re done here. Bucky, can you just talk to me?”

“No.” Bucky retorted, and he pulled away once more.

He walked away, and finally, Steve didn’t try to pull him back.

                              Bucky hurt Madelene
again.

                              He failed his family
again.

Maybe he really was nothing more than the monster Hydra created.

Honestly I’m not emotionally attached to Sam, but his poor sister

Let’s see, we have Shuri, Yelena, and Wanda all victims to losing their siblings

And now we’re adding Sarah to the mix, poor girl

Which reminds me, have you seen the second black panther?
