and yeah, I’ve heard that it’s really hard. i’ll definetely pray that your family continues to have the strength to do something so beautiful for these kids 💕💕
It’s the main reason people try to adopt kids that are really little because though they’ve been through trauma too, they’re younger so they don’t seem to carry as much baggage…and that’s why there are soooo
Thanks so much! ❤❤
Yup, we’ve seen a lot of that in our 3 years of doing foster care. God has given me such a great burden for the teens in foster care. People say such bad things about those kids but when we actually have them in our home they, first of all, are not even close to what everyone says about them, and second they just need sooo much love. They’re all so broken. 😭
Yeah, and my Mom has told me about that kind of stuff
That’s why I’ll either do it in the scenario before I have kids (but probably not because I’ll be pretty young) or after my kids move out
There are wonderful situations where the foster kids get along with kids, but there are also stories where things went horribly wrong, and I don’t want to take that risk with my kids
But again it all depends on God, but I do feel like I would be a good fit for foster care
Yeah, I think there are certain cases where having your own kids around is helpful. We’ve found that have 5 kids 11 and up is helpful for younger kids (like 3 and under) and also with the older teens because they have peers to be an example of how to act.
But yes, it takes a lot to be a foster parent. But our God is capable of filling us with so much strength.

Narnia? O.O My native land!!!
Peter and Lucy were always my favorites, but I love all the Pevensie siblings. And a whole bunch of other characters like Caspian the Tenth, Puddleglum, Aravis, Shasta, Rilian, Glimfeather, Reepicheep, Digory, Emeth, Jewel, Trumpkin…..(is it really possible to name them all?)
Nevertheless, my favorite has always been Peter and Lucy. Although as I have grown older Alsan has taken his own special place.
“And as He spoke He no longer looked to them like a lion; but the things that began to happen after that were so great and beautiful that I cannot write them.”
*Deep breath*
Okay, Narnia rant over. Your fanfic sounds interesting; I am intrigued. Are you drawing your Narnians from the books or the movies?
You have listened to fears, child. Come, let me breathe on you... Are you brave again? -Aslan

WhAt?! Okay, not really shocked. Still, you have to read the books! If you can. When you get the time.
(Trying not to be pushy here.)
They’re so much shorter than the Tolkien. Sooo. Much. Shorter.
Anyway, sorry if I barged in here.
(Please read/listen to the books whenever you get the time…)

Wait what?!
Truthfully I’m not the biggest LOTR fan but I love CON
I’ve read two of the books… I’m not the biggest reader
but the movies are so good, and the second one is so good, and so is the third, and Prince Caspian is amazing

Y’all
I have a new ship to discuss
I found this ship on Pinterest
but it’s going to sound weird, but I do need to do some explaining
Peter and Wanda
(yes I’m aware most of my ships involve Wanda… but what can I say, I love her)
So you might think the age gap is way too big here… but that’s where things get a little confusing
In Age of Ultron and Civil War, Wanda is treated and acts like a teen, and that’s kind of what Marvel was going for and she thought to be only like two years older than Peter
which would make this ship work
but in Avengers infinity war and up she’s treated like an adult and Marvel came out saying she was way older then they had originally said…
so, I could either listen to the new movies and look in disgust at this ship… or fall in love with it and go with the original age of her?
Any thoughts
also I just feel like this would be a amusing and odd ship

-ThorneAugust 22, 2023 at 10:59 pm #154504Also Y’all
I’m just going to be randomly posting short stories about Morgan, Harley, and Peter
they’re just so wonderful
honestly Tony Stark had a lot of flaws… but he was a great father
Morgan and Harley just stared at each other. Both not knowing what to say, Morgan was still trying to process what was happening. Where was Daddy? Why was Mommy so sad?
Peter walked over to the table. Putting on a fake smile for Morgan. He took a seat at the table.
“You’re the infamous Spider-Man?” Harley asked, looking at Peter. “I have some ideas for your sui- sorry probably not the time for that,”
“No,” Peter smiled at him. “Tony talked about you, and how he still kept in contact with you… he said you were a tech genius like me,”
“Daddy told me about both of you, he said you guys were my brothers,” Morgan said, looking at the two teen boys.
Peter and Harley shared a look. Tears threatened their eyes, but they didn’t let them fall instead smiled at Morgan with blurry eyes.
Harley and Peter looked down. Both holding back so many sobs.
Harley had a father, but he ran on him. He was alive but he never came through for Harley.
But the person in his life who had been a real father, who had given him a real family, was the one that was gone.
Peter had never known the feeling of a father, and then he got one and got too attached to the feeling, just to lose him.
And Morgan… she had lost her only and wonderful dad.
Three kids, who lost their father… but had each other.

Yeah… I’m still trying to figure out my feelings about them XD
It’s a pretty big ship on Pinterest
but I really don’t know
Harley is a little boy who appeared in Iron Man3
During the whole movie, Tony forms a bond with the kid, and it’s actually really sweet
It’s a pretty popular theory that they kept in touch after that, and Tony became the father Harley never had
He even shows up to the funeral
