Yeah I feel like I can see her as a villain, but the dark magic really ruined it

Like I think if you’re going to.make her a villain I would have done it differently

Because she has the story to be one of the most empathetic villains, but they took her too far

@smiley I can see the magic side of it ruining things. But if they hadn’t gone that route, the backstory in and of itself would be interesting.

                    @keilah-h @smiley @euodia-vision @hybridlore

                    HEY y’all…guess what???

                    I have another Marvel AU

(I swear, me and Miley are the worst 😂😂😂 no offense, Miley XXD)

I’ve kinda had this idea in my head for a while, lol…but just now really thinking about writing it, hehe.

Here’s the first Chapter!!!! (i know it’s kinda short XD😂)

                    C H A P T E R  1

                    Hydra Confederacy, year 2025

                    Helicopters flew past, rattling glass.

                    Horns honked.

                    People screamed.

                    Glass broke.

Chaos…but it was just another day in the Hydra Confederacy.

“It can’t be like this forever…can it?”

Tony turned away from the window, letting the curtain fall. He went over to his wife, pulling her into his embrace. He buried his face in her red hair. “I’d hope not, Pepper…”

                    “Without the Avengers-“

“Shh…you know none of us are able or ready to pick back up that mantel.”

                    “Tony…”

“Pepper…we’ve talked about this several rimes…we can’t do it.”

“You just don’t want to…you’re afraid.”

Tony pulled away from his wife. “I have every right to be….you see that world down there? We helped create it.”

“No, you didn’t,” Pepper’s hands rested on his arm, “but it’s just you all…lost hope…after-“

                    “Mommy, Daddy…story?”

Tony turned around, smiled, walked over, and lifted his daughter up into his arms. “I’d be more than happy to read you a story, Morgan.”

Morgan smiled. Her arms wrapped around Tony’s neck.

Tony took his daughter to bed, made sure she was tucked under the covers, and read her favorite bedtime stories.

He tried to focus; he really did…but his mind was elsewhere.

                    Morgan drifted off to sleep.

Tony kissed her forehead, turned off the light, laid down the book, and left her room, leaving the door open just a crack.

Pepper sat on the living room couch, a book in hand. “You know, Tony…we can’t keep letting the past stop us from making a better tomorrow.”

“You didn’t see it, Pepper…you didn’t feel it…knowing we’d lost against them…knowing we’d lost…” Tony closed his eyes against the pain.

                    He clenched his fists.

Yeah, they had their fights…but they were still teammates…still friends…but none of that was left anymore.

                    He truly missed their fights.

Pepper looked up at him, and in her eyes was a concerned love that knew no bounds. “Tony…we have to heal…all of you do.”

Tony sank onto the couch beside her. He pulled Pepper into his embrace.

Holding her kept him grounded…holding his wife reminded him that the world still spun…life still continued.

“How can we heal from that…?”

“I know it seems hard, but we can still heal…besides,” Pepper gently grabbed his chin; she forced their eyes to meet, and she smiled, “don’t you have me and Morgan to help you?”

“I could ask for no better remedy,” Tony kissed her, deeply and passionately, “and I can’t even imagine what it’s like for those who, unlike me, don’t have anyone…”

Pepper slowly nodded. “I was thinking the same thing…that’s why I thought…don’t you think you should call him? I-I think he needs someone to talk to…even if it’s you.”

                    “Would he even want to?”

“The question is, would you want to?”

                    Tony bit his lip.

Even though Tony knew what he’d done…and tried to kill him…Tony knew that he needed someone to talk to…and besides, he had helped them when it had mattered most. “You think I should do it tomorrow morning?”

Pepper slowly shook her head. “No…you need to do it tonight…come on, Tony, before it’s too late at night…just…call him. Bucky needs someone to talk to.”

                            C H A P T E R  2

                            His phone rang.

Bucky groaned, flipped over where he was laying on the ratted and torn couch in the living room, and grabbed his phone.

                            “Hello?”

                            “Hey Bucky…it’s me, Tony.”

Bucky sat up, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. “What is it?”

“I just wanted to check in on you…how are you-?”

                            “I’m fine.” Bucky snapped.

Why was everyone always so worried about him?

                            He was fine.

                            “That didn’t sound convincing…”

“Can you just leave me alone?” Bucky retorted.

                            He hung up.

Tony would call him back, he knew that, but he would ignore it…he didn’t want to talk to anyone.

He didn’t want their pity…he didn’t want their sympathy.

                            He’d heal, eventually.

He only had one thing that was close enough to a family…but he’d make it.

                            He’d survive.

                            Always had. Always would.

                            The doorbell rang.

Bucky muttered something impolite under his breath, tired of people bothering him, and went to the front door of his messy apartment. “Tony, if you flew all the way over, I will-!” He opened the door and paused.

Vision held a dish of food. “That doesn’t seem like a very polite greeting.”

Bucky stared blankly at Wanda and Vision.

Wanda smiled. “Can we come in?”

Bucky shrugged and opened the door wider. “Fine, but don’t ask me how I’m-“

“Oh…there’s stuff everywhere. Would you mind if I came over and helped you-?”

                            “Yes, I do mind.”

Wanda blinked but nodded. “Okay then…I’m sure you’ll clean it up soon anyways. Vis, you can set the casserole in the kitchen.”

                            Bucky raised an eyebrow. “Casserole?”

“I made you one…I thought a home-cooked meal would be good for you.”

Bucky crossed his arms and leaned back against the wall. “You working with Tony or something?”

“What about Tony?” Wanda asked, slightly tilting her head.

“Nothing,” Bucky mumbled, “but wait, why are you even here?”

“To bring the casserole, and to check and see if you were-“

                            “I’m fine.”

“You don’t seem fine, Barnes,” Vision walked into the living room, “and Wanda can read your mind, so there’s no use in lying.”

Bucky huffed. “Why can’t anyone leave me alone?”

“We care about you…and we all know how hard this is for us…and how much harder it must be for you…you’re hurting…a lot.” Wanda whispered. She laid a hand on Bucky’s metal shoulder. “…You feel as if you’ve lost everything…everything except…that.”

She pointed at something that laid on the floor in a leather case, leaning against the couch, but Bucky had to look away.

“It’s the closest thing I have left to a family.”

“Loss is a painful part of life.” Vision whispered.

Wanda nodded. “People like us…we know that more than most.”

Bucky glanced at her, and their eyes met…eyes both full of pain, full of grief, even from losses that were years old.

“Why would you care about me?”

“I know what grief can do to someone…and me and Vis don’t want that to happen to you.”

                            “Who says I’m grieving?”

“You said that was the last thing you had closest to a family, and besides…I know you have this still.”

A red glow surrounded a piece of paper…a newspaper clipping.

Pain, grief, and guilt slammed Bucky in the chest, and he had to sit back down.

A newspaper clipping…seven years old…older than the Hydra Confederacy itself…a clipping Bucky had held onto.

Even though it hurt, Bucky grabbed the thing leaning against the couch, pulling it out of the case and holding it in his cold, shaking fingers.

                            A shield.

Wanda sat down beside him, still using her powers to make the clipping float, but she gently laid it on the shield on Bucky’s lap.

He finally mustered the strength to look at the clipping from seven years ago…a clipping that he still barely had the strength to read.

Steve Rogers, American Hero: Presumed Dead in Combat.

Bucky ran his fingers over the shield…Steve’s shield…in his lap…the closest thing he had left to a family…the only piece of his best friend he had left.

Wanda’s hand rested on his arm. “It’s okay, Bucky…it’s okay to grieve…it’s how you’ll heal.”

                                  Boots thudded.

                                  Screams sounded.

                                  Officers yelled out commands.

He guided the razor over his cheek, careful to make sure it was a clean shave.

Spotless, and spotless was all he could be.

His uniform had to be straight, pressed, and ironed.

Shoes had to be so clean his superiors could see their faces in them.

He laid down his razor and rinsed off his face.

The blonde slicked down his hair, careful to be sure it was just as straight and perfect as the rest of him.

He dried off his hands on a towel.

                                  ‘No, look out!’

                                  ‘Grab my hand…’

                                  ‘No, not without you!’

                                  Memories…voices…that he didn’t know.

Who he was or who he wasn’t…he no longer knew.

                                  Who was he?

He thought he knew…wasn’t he whoever his superiors told him he was?

But then he had memories that weren’t his…or, at least, he didn’t think they were.

                                  They couldn’t be.

                                  The bathroom door slammed open.

“What is taking you so long!? President Pierce demands to see you, now, and you’re wasting time in the bathroom…unacceptable. He may have a special, very important mission, and you’re wasting time…such disrespectful acts can and will be punished with swift discipline.”

He lowered his gaze, knowing he couldn’t, and shouldn’t, meet the eyes of the superior glaring at him.

“Move, soldier, now…or I will request for you to be disciplined immediately. Go to President Pierce, immediately.”

He obeyed, but the superior followed close behind.

He knew he had to move quickly, else he’d be disciplined swiftly and severely.

He knew that his superiors enjoyed the moments of punishment.

He hated them, but he knew they were needed…even if they left him bruised, bleeding, and sore.

He entered a large main room, fit with Hydra banners, a long red and black rug that ran up to a large seat where President Pierce sat, his hands on the armrests of the great chair, President of the large and influential Hydra Confederacy.

He was believed to have once been dead…but he had faked his own death, and now, he ruled.

“Ah…you finally made it. Took your sweet time, did we?”

“He was wasting his time in the bathroom, sir…but at least he looks nice.” The superior noted.

Pierce smiled, a slow, sadistic smile.

“I see. Well, let me see if he looks good enough for the mission I have for him,” Pierce’s gaze shifted, “so…step forward.”

He obeyed, knowing it was useless not to.

That act of disrespect would earn him three nights in a cell without food and only a little bit of water…he’d been through it before.

He stepped forward, and Pierce stood to inspect him from head to toe.

Pierce looked him up and down. Pierce’s eyes narrowed. “You look…”

He held his breath…unable to hope that he looked decent enough for Pierce.

                                  “…Perfect.”

He finally let out his breath.

“I have a mission for you,” Pierce sat back down, “and you better make sure you do this one correctly…one hundred percent. I must meet with other Presidents and other influential individuals, and I will not be mocked by them for having my best soldier disobey me in front of anyone. You mock me in any way, and you will be severely punished…your pain will not end, and I will make sure of it.”

                                  He swallowed hard.

Pain…pain made people stronger, or so he’d been told.

But he also dreaded what Pierce had in store for him.

Pierce smiled, as if he sensed, even craved, the fear. “Good. Now, make sure you are spotless for the meeting tomorrow…I will need you, my best soldier…be sure to be on your best behavior, and, well…you may just be rewarded…Captain Hydra.”
