Since it seems like Justice is accustomed to coming to Chessy’s window when he wants to talk to her, may I expect more such scenes? 😀 😀 😀
@jenwriter17 Why didn’t I ship them? Well, I thought Chessy’s crush was way too immature, and that Justice’s character would be ruined if he ever loved anyone better than his country. That was such an integral part of his character I couldn’t see him softening and still being interesting. I was really happy when I read Chessy’s thoughts at the end about how he would “never love anyone more than his country, but that was okay, because she didn’t need him to love her anymore. She could be content to love him from a distance never expecting anything in return.” That was perfectly what my thoughts of their ending should be…and then all the readers but me apparently decided to ship them and Seekjustice went with the majority! 😮"Sylvester - Sylvester!"
Well, I never thought of window scenes being romantic, but there you go. *scribbles in notebook give Justice and Chessy more window scenes*
I did, however, consider giving Chessy another love interest. I had considered Quillon, since she’d almost fallen in love with Quillon in the first book, till I paired him with Sapphire, but I knew Quillon wouldn’t ever love Chessy after loving Sapphire. So he gets to be big brother/best friend character.
And then there was Zachary Stoner…
And I was going to kill Justice as well.

@seekjustice Oh, I thought she was going to end up with Quillon until he started interacting with her sister! Then I refrained from mentioning it since Sapphire and Quillon obviously were meant for each other and Chessy had nothing to do with anything there. 🙂 I also could have seen her with Jonas if she was a little bit older. As it was he was too mature for her, but I thought he was awesome. I also liked Kendall a bit, and thought he was immature enough to put him on the same level with Chessy. So basically, @jenwriter17, what I’m saying is I could have shipped Chessy with any male character but Justice. 😛 Sorrrrryyyy!!!

I love the fact that you could have shipped her with any of the male characters but Justice :D. Jonas is way more mature than any of them, but if I remember correctly he’s younger than Justice. I’m not sure though, I’ve misplaced my book of notes, so I can’t check. I do remember that Cirrus is the oldest revolutionary and that Rain or Kendall, not sure which, is the youngest, excepting Waif.
I scare myself when I’m on the internet 😛 Most of my real life friends don’t know about my mass-murdering tendancies though and I haven’t scared them off yet. I don’t know if that’s good news or not.

@seekjustice Did you actually say that?! You’ll give Justice and Chessy more window scenes? *squeals* Yes, window scenes are very romantic! Of course, like I said, the first thing I thought of was that favorite couple of mine, Bill and Patty, but the original window scene, which is considered one of the most romantic scenes of all time, is the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet, right? 😉 So it’s not just my opinion. 😀

@seekjustice I’ve read the prologue, and so far I like it. I haven’t had time to read the rest yet. So many things have happened today that I didn’t want to get started and then be forced to walk away to do something else. I will get to it tomorrow. Well, tomorrow for me at least. This I promise. 🙂

@seekjustice Haha, yes it’s funny, isn’t it? 😀 Any character but Justice. That doesn’t mean I didn’t like Justice, because I thought his character was wonderful! And I’m beginning…just beginning to ship him with Chessy now. 😉
Ah, please let Rain be younger than Kendall!! I really don’t like romance when the girl is older than the guy, especially since girls mature faster than boys in their teens. 😀 Oh, yes. I think I remember that Jonas was a bit younger than Justice. But he was definitely the most mature.
But they’re all dead now… 🙁 🙁 🙁

You need not fear, Kendall is 19 and Rain is 18. Kendall is the youngest male member of the revolutionaries, while Chessy is the youngest. And there’s Waif too.
