@theducktator Are you starting now? And (if you don’t mind me asking) what are you working on? I’m not sure if I’ve heard anything about your WIP.

July 25, 2024 at 3:20 pm #183755Sounds good! You can reply to that later if you want, lol. I think it lagged.

July 25, 2024 at 3:42 pm #183758Well, it wouldn’t tell me how many words I’ve written since I’m on my phone, but I got some done! Lol. How did you do?

July 25, 2024 at 3:43 pm #183760I’m handwriting, so I haven’t counted words much, lol.

July 25, 2024 at 3:48 pm #183761Oh, haha! Yeah, I definitely made progress, even though there’s not much on the page.
I’ll probably keep going, but not time it. Thanks for sprinting!

July 25, 2024 at 3:48 pm #183762@theducktator I like your signature, by the way lol.
Do you find it easier to handwrite? Is it more efficient for you?

July 25, 2024 at 3:58 pm #183763Thanks!
We don’t have a lot of tech at my house. I don’t have a phone or computer, even though I’m 15. So, mostly habit. I also like being able to carry writing with me wherever, and lack of distraction is nice too. I will edit on one of the family computers though.
This is a WIP that I haven’t really talked about on here, namely because I started it in my school notebook when I was bored during co-op, and forgot about it over summer.😂 It’s called The Chronicles of Linda Rose, and follows a duck named Linda Rose on her adventures away from her pond behind Walmart.

July 25, 2024 at 4:06 pm #183766Ohh, I gotcha. Yeah, I’ve heard that’s it’s really good for focus, but I never really wrote down much of my writing (besides outlining and rambling) on paper. I guess I prefer doing the actual writing on an electronic.
Oh, lol! 🤣 Are you homeschooled, or do you go to public school?

July 25, 2024 at 8:57 pm #183778I’m homeschooled. I do a co-op called Classical Conversations. What about you?
