Oh you do, do you? Well, here goes a test run in that Other Idea.
The room was dim. Sunlight and it’s heat rarely made it through the windows.
Skeletal children, heads shaved free of lice, played on the coarse floor. Armenian mixed with Aramaic and Syrian. They were bits and pieces left over from the death march. Even the youngest, a little lad of three, had a strangely ageless sorrow in his wide black eyes. He sat giggling as the older children imitated the British accent.
Captain Rush gave a sad smile. Let them laugh. God knew they needed it.

Also I don’t understand how you people write so fast. Getting myself to sit down and completely write out what’s in my head is like trying to make almond milk by squeezing the almonds with my bare hands.

I caaan’t. All my Lovedream characters are severely traumatized and I’m not just talking ‘his parents died to typhoid’ or whatever.

Don’t know if I’m in that fast writers group, but for me, I’m not writing anything serious, just bits of stories that have been in my head for weeks. If this was my “actual” WIP it would take longer.
