@Daeus Merp, sorry I missed the critiquing party. I will definitely share this with my people. Such a cool idea. 🙂

April 4, 2017 at 8:36 am #29348@Watersnail Would you be able to share this with the OYANers?

April 6, 2017 at 7:58 am #29528April 6, 2017 at 4:36 pm #29555Hey, friends, see if you can help me brainstorm for a bit.
So far, about fifty people have taken the reader behavior survey. That’s pretty awesome. Fifty people can show us some neat things about reader behavior, but we’re going to need a lot more need more if we’re hoping for reliable and detailed data.
So maybe my outlook was too limited. Emailing your friends is a great way to get the word out about this survey, but it’s not the only way.
What are our options? I’d love your feedback on this. Are there media avenues I’m not thinking of. Do you know of any blogs, other online forums, etc. that might be interested in sharing this survey? Where do you know of that readers or writers congregate?
Thanks!

April 6, 2017 at 4:42 pm #29557Here, let me lift some weight myself. Social media, of course, is a good avenue. You can use these links to share the survey.

April 6, 2017 at 4:45 pm #29558You should try sharing it in the Young Writers Workshop Facebook group (the one started by Brett Harris). It’s pretty active and has over 500 members. https://www.facebook.com/groups/TheYoungWritersWorkshop/
April 6, 2017 at 4:47 pm #29559@daeus I intended to share this on Facebook but being the scatter brain that I am I forgot so I will do that as soon as I finish posting this comment. Also, I have a Wattpad account with a small but sizable following that I could share this with. That wouldn’t get many but at least a few. That’s all I can think of for now, but I certainly intend to share this as much as I can.
April 6, 2017 at 5:29 pm #29565@daeus I second what @sierra-r said. I’m in YWW, and I know that basically every single one of them would be eager to take this survey. I would definitely start there if I were you.
The Facebook group isn’t as active as it used to be, but the closed community group is active 24/7. I’m not sure if you’re on there, but I could share the link there if you’d like.
There’s also the huge blogging community out there, though I’m more looped in with the teen bloggers. Contacting Go Teen Writers might be a good way to get the survey out, since almost all of those bloggers follow it.
April 6, 2017 at 5:37 pm #29568@sierra-r Alas! I applied for the Facebook group, but never got accepted. Don’t know why.
@audrey-caylin I thought about them, but I wasn’t sure about their no self promotion policy. I’m not selling anything, but it is my own thing and it is for my own use and for KPs. Thoughts?
@adry_grace No problem. Wow, you actually do Wattpad? I am an expert at not doing things on my Wattpad account.🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢
April 6, 2017 at 5:52 pm #29569@daeus Hahaha yes. Somehow I manage to actually be active in my Wattpad account. It’s almost become a habit. Like you know how most people get on their phone and automatically check Facebook? I do that with Wattpad. It’s actually a problem.
April 6, 2017 at 6:11 pm #29571@Daeus (@watersnail) I too am an OYANer, so I can dump it on peoples there.

April 6, 2017 at 7:04 pm #29573@jane-maree Oooh, dump away. Also, if you wouldn’t mind asking them to share it, that would be great.
