As you are no doubt aware, it is Christmas Eve today. @highscribe’s and my mom shows signs of coming down with the same illness that the two of us had earlier this week. It wasn’t anything serious, just your average vomit-inducing flu, but it would most likely mean that we’d have to cancel a Christmas get together tomorrow, which would be disappointing, and we also don’t want her to be feeling sick on Christmas Day. So if you guys could pray about that it would be much appreciated!

My mom’s still out of it, and my brother has a headache, and my dad’s rushing all over the place to get stuff and complete things, and I think even my dog is a bit frazzled.

That’s no fun! I remember being sick over Christmas before, too. Stomach bugs are the worst though….

I remember a particular Christmas where my whole family was sick. It was 2018. I also had a broken foot at the time. That was…not fun to say the least, so I’ll never feel too disappointed as long as it isn’t that bad.

Yep. Mom is still up and about and she isn’t sure if she is getting sick yet, so we’re going ahead with preparations. If she is sick that will almost definitely mean cancellation, but we’re not sure yet.
