Today, after church, we were getting ready to go and my dad put his “murse” (man purse) on the table in the entrance of the church. He was gone for maybe a minute before we were ready to leave and gathering up the stuff, and it was gone.

Mom went outside.

The van was gone too.

So yeah–the van was stolen, as well as the bag with all my dad’s ID and debit and credit cards (which he’s cancelled already). They’ve got the keys to our house and the address is on the IDs, so we’ve got to replace all of the locks. We’ve borrowed a friend’s car; her parents are gone on a vacation recently and they lent her their car, so she can use that.

Anyway, the police are looking into it, nobody’s been hurt, it’s business as usual, and I suppose I’m asking for y’all to pray for our 2012 vehicle. (Eek, is it really thirteen years old?)

Hey guys, I’ve had eating issues over the past six months or something, for a myriad of reasons. Last time I had a cold, I lost a lot of weight, fifteen pounds. We’re concerned that if I catch sick again, I’ll have to go to the hospital. So uh… I feel strange asking for this, but please pray for me to figure this out before that happens. I don’t wanna eat through a tube. XD
