I know I have and when you trust Him and are fully devoted to Him, it changes your life. I speak from personal experience. I understand that our experiences are probably very different tho. So I’ll be praying for you. 🫶

I can’t say I understand what you’re going through since I’ve been homeschooled all my life, but I’ll be praying for you. I know that that can be hard.

I don’t know what the public school environment is like, but God either has good friends for you there, or somewhere else. Just keep praying about it and trusting Him. My advice would be to stop hanging out with “friends” who aren’t really your friends, but I’ve never been in a situation like that, so I couldn’t tell you the best way to do that except… do it. 😅 Sorry if that came off as blunt or rude or anything like that. I just know that who you hang out with make or break you. I’ve gotten this advice from my Bible teacher (he actually compares it to food in the fridge—if in doubt, throw it out. XD); it’s not from personal experience. So take it with a grain of salt. 😉

And remember to keep God first above writing. I know it’s hard, but it’s so worth it. I know by spending some time with Him every day by reading my Bible, journaling, and praying, I’ve grown closer to Him. The results aren’t always immediate, but trust me, the time and effort are worth it. Just wanted to share that. 💖

All that to say, God’s got you. He’s got a wonderful plan for your life. Just let Him have control and trust Him with the rest. Praying for ya, girl. ❤️

Ack that’s rough. I just happened to be scrolling through this forum and saw your post. It’s been a really long time since I’ve been in public school. Even though my intuition is to encourage you to confront the problem because I’m just like that lol… I feel like when you’re dealing with immature people, sometimes confronting and asking for change really doesn’t help, because their unable to see you’re choosing the better road.

You aren’t obligated to hang out with anyone. You’re valuable, and if people are mistreating you, you don’t have to hang out with them no matter what they say. I know sitting alone feels awful and I’m not saying you have to do it, but don’t be scared too. I know nobody wants to be ‘that kid’ whose weird and lonely, but the same things you’re passionate about now would make you really cool in a college writers club lol.

Btw I can’t believe people make fun of you for being a nerd 😂 sometimes I just wanna tell people to grow up. In college, being a nerd gets you places.

Oh, and just so you know, I’ve had a absolutely stellar experience with online school. We had a whole bunch of kids in our classes who were bullied or going through something rough and needed a break. My homeroom teacher was super sweet too. Idk, just something to look into and see if you’re state has. If it’s a public online school it’ll be free and they might even send you a laptop if you ask. Yeah, it’s kinda isolating, but just throwing it out there if you’re interested.
