@alia That’s tough. I’ve had stuff like that before. You’re right it isn’t smart to go to war by yourself. 🙂

"Sylvester - Sylvester!"
July 13, 2018 at 5:30 am #75082Oh my friend…I’m sorry that I didn’t see this until now. I will definitely, definitely be praying for you.
For my whole life I’ve never felt like I fitted in with other teenagers. I remember talking to my mum about it once and telling her, “Its not that I want to be like them, because I don’t. I just want to feel included”.
And that’s exactly it. I feel like I think much more deeply than the average teenager, and that because of that I’ve always been seen as “weird”, I’ve always had trouble making friends and recently that’s been made worse by the inevitable fact that we all grow up and move into different spheres of life, and that includes my dearest friends, who’ve always been there for me. That’s led to a lot of bitterness on my part which I’ve been battling with for some time now.
Basically, I definitely get where you’re coming from.
Loneliness is so difficult to battle, but I’ve learnt one thing from it. There’s a heap of lonely people in the world and I think that reaching out to those lonely people is one of the best things you can do.
And, oh, I know what its like to be “the good child”. I know I’ve often kept things from my parents and still do sometimes now, because I didn’t want them to worry about me when they already had so many things to worry about and all my siblings to look after. So I’d just hide behind a smile and be the perfect child I always pretended I was. And honestly, I think having the reputation as the church/missionary kid makes these struggles even harder, because no one ever looks at you and asks if you’re all right. They just assume you always are, because….you always appear to be.
Basically, I know how you feel and I’ll be praying for you. And if you ever need to talk, I’ll be here 🙂

July 13, 2018 at 2:49 pm #75085Hey guys, a friend of mine passed away this morning. She was born with medical issues and has been in and out of hospitals her entire life. Praise God she was a believer and so no longer feel pain, but it is still very hard on her family. So please keep her family in your prayers, she was only 12.

July 16, 2018 at 8:20 pm #75223@jenwriter17, @rochellaine, @clairec, @seekjustice, @catwing,
thank you all for your prayers. I want to write more about how much they mean to me, but right now I don’t know how to express them. Look at that, a writer can’t write 🙂 . But thank you all so much. It means a lot

Kapeefer til we're old and greyJuly 16, 2018 at 9:39 pm #75225I find that writers know how to write the least when they can’t hide behind their characters. But I’ll keep praying for you and I hope God brings you through this time soon. 🙂
