Okay, I’m gonna have to jump out, too. I wrote 1,046 words in *cough* this new story I just started today. Yeah, I know, I should be working on Heir to His Crown, but inspiration had just stuck. Anyway, last line: I shrugged. “Same as always.”

TeenWritersNook.comSo I just finished up writing (for now) and ended up with 1,597 words. Though… they are quite first draft-ish and not edited at all, but *shrug* that’s all right. I ended up going a little beyond what I figured time-wise, so sorry about that!! Anyways, fave line: “I… I almost lost the only friend I’ve ever had.”

TeenWritersNook.comThank you soo much, girl!!!! Hehehehe yeah, I really shouldn’t have started it. *hides* Well, I’m not 100% certain yet, since I’m a huge pantser and all. I know right now is that I’m kinda mimicking the setting to the 1600ish but of course, it’s a made up world: The Kingdom of Elvurdul. So there’s this boy who’s family is like really, really poor, but his younger sister is also very sick. And him and his father know she isn’t going to live. But the boy (who is yet to have a name, so suggestions are appreciated. 😉 ) isn’t going to give up so easily.
of course he isn’t, Is, what kind of story would that be?He’s convinced if he could get enough money to get her one of those wealthier healers/doctors (not sure what I’m gonna call ’em yet) he can save his sister. So works whatever jobs he can get and *cough* steals sometimes *cough*. Well, one day he was caught stealing. Though I have no idea yet how but he ends up agreeing to go on this quest in search of something antagonist dude (don’t know who he is yet) wants. There’s gonna be pirates and all that good stuff.
