Well, think of it this way. What I really said is, “I think I can keep it down to about five hundred pages, six hundred at most. The thing is, I’m only about a seventh of the way through, so I have no idea what might wiggle its way into my story.”
I could also say, “I think I can keep my book to about a quarter of the length of the entire bible.” That’s a scary thought!

Well, I knew the first week of November was going to be busy and I wouldn’t get much writing done, but 486 words as of right now? Ouch. I am attempting to write every day, little by little, and I’m happy with how it’s going. If 486 words can be considered going. (Sigh) Just keep swimming…
