@evelyn-collins I hope so too. Hence why I have him as a cyborg on my profile, since I feel like the fall he took would at least hurt him. (I can post the picture here and larger if you want to study it.)
Where'd I get ya this time? The liver? The kidney? I'm runnin' outta places to put holes in ya.

I figured. I recognize the style. Still great tho"Fives, no!" "Fives, YeS!"
January 30, 2024 at 4:22 pm #174875There’s some hydraulics on his lower left leg as you can see. His left wing is almost fully replaced, and his right one has fabric replacing the membranes. I’d say bits of his spine are probably replaced too. Then his eyes–what looks like his goggles here are bionic receptors with screens displaying “eyes.”
oh, and thanks! so you’ve probably seen the comics that use this style.

January 31, 2024 at 3:55 pm #174937@evelyn-collins I’m back. I just keep coming here to read your fanfic as it’s written lol
So, funny enough, Leo’s mom’s explanation of how she fell in love with you-know-who is pretty close to the romance story I’d contrived for him in my own fanfic universe, which is crazy (and make me wonder……are my charrie and your charrie two different versions of the same person? Like, two different timelines?)
But my real question is why would he walk out on her (and leave her with a kid)? Was it just because he had to fight in the war, and she became bitter about it and severed all ties to him? Or did he not realize what he was getting into, saw her for who she really was (she seems like a really loose-living kind of person) , and was like “You know what, I’m not going to support what you’re doing” and left? Or did the Republic separate them, maybe? Or did she leave because of something, and she’s just pinning the blame on him?
I have QUESTIONS!!!
Especially when my favorite characters are involved lol

January 31, 2024 at 4:58 pm #174956HELLO!!!
so, I see it being a mix of the war and the him finding out who she really is thing, but heh, we still workin on that ๐.

January 31, 2024 at 5:11 pm #174958also, the two sides of the same charrie idea is interesting ๐ง
"Fives, no!" "Fives, YeS!"
February 1, 2024 at 2:09 pm #174999@evelyn-collins it certainly would be…
Except I’m not saying your charrie and my charrie are literally the same person. What I’m thinking of is two separate timelines, in which what would be the same character went through different situations. Something happened to Cross’s love interest in your story (idk her name here, but the charrie in my fanfics is called Feather) that didn’t happen to her in mine, and it changed everything from that point forward.
(oh and the two characters look different, yours has dark hair and blue eyes, right? Mine’s got blond hair and gray eyes, but hey–that could also be a difference between the two universes.)
oh–and a funny thing I noticed on Leo’s genetics, since I’m a biology nerd almost as much as a Star Wars one. So you said she has blue eyes, right? But if you look at pretty much about any picture of Crosshair, you see his eyes are brown. Brown eye genetics usually overpower blue, so what’s up with that? Well, if you compare his eyes to Hunter’s or Wrecker’s you’ll notice their eyes are almost more gray. Gray as an eye color has been equated with blue for a long time, it wasn’t until recently that they were classified as separate colors. And a few other clones have been known to have blue eyes–even more striking, obvious blue than the Batchers’. So Crosshair does have a blue-eye gene in his genotype, despite the fact that it doesn’t show up physically, giving him a chance to pass it on to his offspring–Leo. That could also explain her having a similar hair color and eye shape to him, especially if the mutated/modified genes he has are genetically dominant.

February 1, 2024 at 2:19 pm #175002wow, I didnโt even think about that!! (Except for the modified DNA being more dominant. I thought it was obvious ๐)
