@theducktator you’re welcome!
"When in doubt, eat cheese crackers."-me to my charries who don't even know about cheese crackers
May 5, 2025 at 1:45 pm #202468He’s the spiritual one, the one that’s always reminding the other characters to trust God or to appreciate their surroundings. He loves animals and plants and being out in nature. He’s also athletic.
Spot on!
(and don’t worry, calling adult or near adult male characters “boy” is a common thing among writers)
Have you ever seen people calling them “boi”?
Yes! The board is sweet because he is sweet.
He’s gentle and tender hearted. He has a strong faith in God and tries to share it with his friends, if he has any.
He loves nature and animal, especially birds. He likes to draw the world around him, and maybe has a special notebook that he keeps with him.
Yes, yes, and yes!
I see a mysterious horn again. Which makes me think he’s connected to the others, especially Burd. The two kinds look similar, so maby they’re brothers?
Ooh!!! That’s so cool! (I’m not saying why though…)
Cool sneaky cloak people running on walls. Maybe that’s describing him and his friends, or a job he worked, or some other traumatic past.
You half of that correct.
He can fight, although his weapon of choice my be long of range. Hopefully he isn’t drafted into anything.
Yup, he’d prefer to fight in the battle…away from the battle. Unfortunatley that doesn’t always happen…
He reminds me of Saint Francis. I love the Joyful Joyful We Adore Thee quote!
Is Saint Francis the man who fed all the wild animals?
Yes! My family was singing that song a little bit after I made the board, and I was suddenly struck by how perfect it was for him! When I used it for his board, I was only thinking of that one verse, but now the entire song is 100% fitting for him! That song is now dubbed “Jace’s song”.

All the time lol. I try not to do it. Sometimes I slip up.

May 5, 2025 at 1:50 pm #202472@liberty IDK. It’s just a term of endearment I think.
I think it’s odd, but hey, we’re writers, we’re odd people, so I don’t get too upset.
