You have listened to fears, child. Come, let me breathe on you... Are you brave again? -Aslan

Thank you for your tips!
I use Bryce as Guy’s younger brother.
Guy and Bryce originally came from a different story that I had, and that’s where I fell in love with Bryce, but that story sort of to the shelf of books that would never be written. I was sad about that since I loved the brother characters, but then overjoyed when I received a new story idea that was way better and could pull the brothers in.
It’s not published as a book. I read it on a fan fiction site. I’ll look for the link.

I see you have another girl with a violin. Do you play it?

So, yes, playing the violin is one of my never-to-be-fulfilled-unless-God-intervenes dreams.

February 27, 2025 at 7:29 pm #198732Violin would be easier to learn coming from a pianist background! But yeah, I understand if you already have too many instruments.
I will say that it’s hardest in the beginning, probably. When you are just starting out, it’s hard to get it to sound good. But if you can stick with it for a few months, it gets better. 😉

@hybridlore @elishavet-pidyon @ellette-giselle (In case you were wondering about Guy as well)Here’s somewhat of a summary:
A man searching for redemption from his past…
A band of outlaws trying to make a difference…
A land twisted and poisoned by its cold-hearted rulers…
Guy is a young man living with a deep inner darkness. Because of his past, he’s forever hunted by his remaining relatives and is forever haunted by his nightmares and fears. Having sworn to live helping and protecting others, he hopes against all hope that somehow he can redeem himself. To be free from the darkness that hounds him.
In his quest for redemption, he finds himself leading a rather rickety band of fellow men who have all been condemned as he. While being marked as a murderer and a refugee, he sets out of the borders of safety to clear his name…and hopefully his heart.
Amid his journey, little does he know that he and his “merry” band of men may very well be the hope of the entire country.
What do you think?

February 28, 2025 at 2:51 pm #198775February 28, 2025 at 3:09 pm #198777Sorry…I looked for the Susan story but couldn’t find it. I found some others, but none of them compared to the one I read. It was short, but very beautiful, sweet, and Christian.
If you like, I can retell what I remember of the story.
