@emma-flournoy Thanks for the welcome! I know I’m going to love it here!@shannon For the past four years I’ve been attending Ketoctin OPC in Northern Virginia. I’m in the middle of moving to North Carolina right now, so I’ll be working on finding a new church family.

Hello @dragon-snapper. The Legend of King Daeus–I kept seeing references to it all over the site, so I finally decided that I had to track it down. I found it in the forum, and had a wonderful time laughing over The Wiser, raspberry soy ice cream, and tame dragons. (Btw: Where on earth did that story idea come from?) They are both absolutely hilarious and very well put together. I liked how you used different people from the site as your characters. So, to sum it up, I loved it, and I hope you do another one sometime!
Oh and by the way @ethryndal those pictures of King Daeus and The Wiser were awesome!

@dragon-snapper–I’ve heard you melt chairs. Can I have a pass? Please?! ; )
@shannon The idea was actually a writing prompt @emma-flournoy gave me way way back last fall. It was originally supposed to be about a dragon who melted everyone’s chairs, but it morphed into that. (and trust me, it’s a good thing that it did). I’ll do a third eventually, but I’m very focused on my WIP for now. Maybe when I finish the first draft, I’ll work on the third.
I won’t melt you chair so long as you serve me and–*cough* I mean…sure, I probably won’t melt your chair. 😛 Probably.☀ ☀ ☀ ENFP ☀ ☀ ☀

@dragon-snapper Thanks for the comfort. What is you WIP about? Or is it a secret?
@shannon Well, it’s exceedingly complicated. Best explanation I can give you is the title and genre. It’s a science fiction story kinda like Tron: Legacy and Star Wars and Star Trek mixed together called Sector One.

Sounds cool @dragon-snapper! It seems like a lot of people on here are into sci-fi and fantasy stuff.
Thanks @shannon Yeah; it’s hard for me to know which was harder–leaving my church or leaving all the college friends I’d been with for four years. God has consistently brought me to great new church families, though, so I trust I’ll be able to find one in North Carolina.
