Whoa there, Kate dear. You’re always ready. @kate-flournoy

July 13, 2017 at 9:05 pm #37053Tell you guys what. @Daeus @That_Writer_Girl_99 @Emma-Flournoy LET ME READ THE BOOK I’M GETTING. And then I will do a post on here and explain everything I understand. I know a tiny bit about cognitive functions but nowhere near enough to explain coherently.
See, this is the problem with being a teacher of something you’re fascinated by… eventually your students know more than you do and your reputation is in danger. 😛July 13, 2017 at 9:06 pm #37055@Daeus I suppose something will eventually come of it. Someday. I’m a headachy mess that feels like collapsing on a pile of pillows which if I had to hazard a guess isn’t helping matters. 😛 If you could tell anything from the ones I picked up there though that would be cool… at least tell me though if I picked one of each as I should’ve; I didn’t pick two of the same sort or anything like that? I don’t think I did.
@Kate-Flournoy sounds good. XD I wasn’t urging to the contrary.July 13, 2017 at 9:06 pm #37056*chokes* Isn’t that what being a teacher is, though? Teaching people how to teach others? @kate-flournoy

July 13, 2017 at 9:07 pm #37058@kate-flournoy I wouldn’t call that a problem… I’d say it was a problem if your students never challenged you, because then they wouldn’t really be students. 😉
@Daeus I have never heard of the cognitive functions until reading the Fake MBTI discussion today, and then this discussion over here… I shall have to look into them. Thanks for sharing the link!"Courage is action in spite of fear."
July 13, 2017 at 9:09 pm #37060@That_Writer_Girl_99 *is inspired*
True. All of it. *sighs* I suppose I’m not ready to be a teacher yet, then. 😉
NOW I’VE GOTTA GO WRITE. EXCUSE ME.
July 13, 2017 at 9:10 pm #37062Whoops. I suppose I might have held you up.
I’m glad you’re inspired. *grins* @kate-flournoy

July 13, 2017 at 9:17 pm #37076@emma-flournoy lol. Okay, well, one thing you should know is that all types have two extroverted functions and two introverted functions.

July 13, 2017 at 9:19 pm #37079This article has some more info to tell what your functions are in the first few paragraphs. http://thoughtcatalog.com/heidi-priebe/2015/06/if-youre-confused-about-your-myers-briggs-personality-type-read-this-an-intro-to-cognitive-functions/

Okay, just an fyi, I may or may not turn into the happiest INFP on the planet whenevr any of y’all use ‘zikers’. 😊 Kingdom Pen is my favoritest place ever.
*is probably geeking out about something*
July 13, 2017 at 9:43 pm #37097Meh meh…not promising. So since I have three extroverted ones there I should change one to introverted. *plops chin glumly in hand*
After the first several paragraphs of that article, after reading the cognitive function descriptions there, this is the closest I can come. In…order. Fe, Ni, Si, Te. (Though I’m not quite sure about the Fe part that says they absolutely NEED social interaction to be happy. Social input to feel fulfilled yes, but not necessarily constant interaction. With me.) See, I really don’t know if this’ll work or not ’cause I have so much a mix of E/I N/S. I think it just doesn’t work to pick which one, ’cause due to how close those functions are it’s so hard to pick which are dominant of the cognitive ones. With those four cognitive functions, Fe Ni Si Te, is that any one type? Or…a mix of any two that you can tell?
This is preparing me for the day when I have to explain this to my kids. *headdesk* Ow.
July 13, 2017 at 9:44 pm #37098Whoops. @Daeus.
