@introvert_girl Aww, you think? Thanks! Actually I guess you could sorta call me an alien, too. I’m writing a novella about another planet and one of the characters is named “Dekreel.” So… Yeah, a little confusing. X)
You can pronounce it however you want.
November 17, 2017 at 5:04 pm #53691I know I’m super late, but Hi! @introvert_girl 😀
Welcome to KP and all the things that come with it! I am Dragon Snapper. I melt chairs. Everytime I make a post. *nods without a hint of regret*
So…*rubs hands* You say you write some spacer opera? Awesome! I love those!
Which one is your favorite Star Wars?

@introvert_girl History! Yes! That’s the best.
November 17, 2017 at 6:15 pm #53714@northerner, INTP INTP INTP! Yeah I know, a little overboard. And I agree, INTJs aren’t as rare as they want us to think.
Are they @charisetter???

Kapeefer til we're old and greyNovember 17, 2017 at 6:30 pm #53717@introvert-girl 😀 Welcome to the awsomeestist place on the internet
Your story sounds really cool. I have a bunch of WIPs too
Stan says hi, too:D (Stan is my underdeveloped dragon pal)
*Giarstanornarak tries to melt chair*
Also, Daeus has 22 turtles in his signature.November 17, 2017 at 10:01 pm #53748@dekreel I think that’s a super cute name for an alien 🙂
@dragon-snapper Better late than never! Thank you. And I’m terribley sorry about that. May you never run out of chairs, then. We wouldn’t want you melting through the floor, now would we? 😉
I have a couple of space operas tucked away, though they’re not current WIPs. Maybe someday I’ll revisit them, if I get the chance.
My favorite star wars is episode V, Empire Strikes back. And while I liked Rogue One, I’m in the camp that preferred The Force Awakens. (I’m sooo hyped for the next episode! Eeek! Only a month away :D)
@sam-kowal Why, thank you! Some days I feel like I’m drowning in stories, though recently I’ve gotten better at being disciplined with following through on projects without getting distracted. Right now I’m only actively working on two projects, one in drafting stage, the other in outlining. Though I have sooo many other docs full of notes and bits of dialogue. Someday. I hope I get to develop them. Guess we’ll see 🙂
And its a pleasure to meet you, Stan.
It’s funny, because I had an imaginary friend when I was younger (and he was one of my first characters that I wrote about) who could shapeshift into a dragon. So, Tim says hi! (haha). And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.
November 17, 2017 at 10:54 pm #53764@introvert_girl Really? You like that name? It doesn’t roll naturally off the tongue like other names do. Like “Shaavra” or “Nyssa.”
Deh-KREEL. Duh-KREEL… DEK-reel?? Never could figure it out how to pronounce it. 😛
Whoever named me wasn’t being very creative XD

November 20, 2017 at 1:49 pm #54031@introvert_girl Really? You liked Force Awakens better?
Aha! I’m not alone! I liked it way better than Rogue One. Just couldn’t connect with the characters…or the plot of Rogue One.

November 20, 2017 at 2:32 pm #54036@dekreel I read it as dee-kreel, if that helps *shrug* but pronounce it however you like 😉
@dragon-snapper I agree. I think the films were trying to do different things, which is okay, I guess. But Force Awakens was setting up new characters we were meant to be invested in, because we’ll be following them for this new trilogy at least, and I’d say with Rogue One, the characters were vessels of the plot. And I personally prefer stories where the characters *are* the story.
Do you like the prequel trilogy? And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.
November 20, 2017 at 2:39 pm #54040DEE-kreel… Ohhhh… Ah! I like it! Thanks, @introvert_girl, you just saved me a lot of awkwardness!
You can pronounce it however you want.
