This is a poem that came to me a few days ago. It’s honestly more for a wip, but I figured I’d put this here anyway XD
Weeping Monarch Call
Now hear them say,
“We lost our tear-stained crowns,
we lost them all.
Now hear our weeping Monarch’s call.”
In agony they stand to fall.
“We lost our crowns,
we lost them all.”
Every bad one lost his own,
no longer are they lord of home.
They rose to stand but now hear them fall.
They lost their crowns, they lost them all.
We laughed and danced in our ignorance
but stand and let your outrage fall,
for they lost their crowns,
they lost them all.

@joy-caroline Hahaa normally I’d say same because it’s super hot here and NEVER snows, but this was horrible. People froze to death because we were forced to have our power grid shut off during the coldest days. No one was ready for it at all. 10/10 w0uld not recommend 😬 Most people don’t even have running water yet (myself included 🙃). This was a historical event that will literally be in our history books because it was so bad 😂 We have military out in our streets handing out water and stuff. It’s crazyy.
