VALLANEY
They all sat down together at the table, Skylar being the first to introduce herself. “I’m Skylar, It’s nice to meet you,” She shook their hands. The boy’s seemed nice enough, though they all seemed older than her. Then Vallaney noticed how Riya’s eyes lingered just a beat longer than normal on the one called Bucky.
She hid a smile behind her hand, did that look mean something?
Looking at the boys she gave a poised smile and asked, “What are they serving today? Because I’m starved.”

Ami
“Just…things I’ve picked up on…that’s all.” Ara said, giving Ami a smile. “But don’t worry, Ami. Whatever’s going on, I’m sure it will work out.”
Ami smiled back. “Thanks.” She sat up and dragged her fingers through her blond hair, getting out any tangles.
It looked as if Ara did speak from experience, though she wasn’t letting on. Ami decided not to push it, but instead bring up the school dance. (I actually can’t remember if Ami actually heard about this yet or not. XD)
“You know,” she began, a slight smile playing on her lips. “There’s a school dance coming up… Is there, um… anyone you specifically want to ask you to it?” Ami fingered a strand of hair and waited for Ara to answer.
She didn’t answer immediately but her cheeks flushed pink. “I, um… Maybe,” she avoided Ami’s expectant gaze.
Ami grinned. “You don’t actually have to tell me. I don’t really care.” She with a shrug and a shake of her head. Ara smiled softly in thanks.
Ami felt her phone buzz in her pocket. She pulled it out and saw a text from Ev.
Can we talk?
Ami replied, I was about to ask you the same thing.
Let’s meet at the commons.
Ok.
Ami stood up and put her phone in her pocket. “Hey, I have to go, Ara.”
Ara nodded.
“Thanks for the chat,” Ami said, as she opened the door.
“You’re welcome,” she replied with a soft smile.
Ami took a deep breath as she walked down the dorm hall. She could tell from the tone of Ev’s text that he wasn’t as mad as before, but it obviously still bugged him. As she reached the commons, she took one more deep breath.
In a corner by a window, Ev stood, staring outside, obviously deep in thought. Ami walked up to him.
EV
“Hey,” Ami’s gentle voice greeted him.
“Hey,” Ev replied, turning around. The two stood there in awkward silence, neither saying anything at first.
Ami sighed. “Ev, it wasn’t what it looked like, okay?”
Ev paused for a moment before continuing, trying to not say anything rash. “Okay… but—”
“Can I explain?” Ami interrupted.
Ev nodded.
“I was walking through the gardens with Clint as well as Bruce and Sam, but… obviously, they left us. I promise I didn’t know they did until you left.”
Ev bit the inside of his cheek. He knew Ami wouldn’t lie to him. Plus, he could see the sincerity in her eyes.
He sighed and took a step closer. The sunlight from the window made her emerald eyes sparkle.
“I understand, Ami. I…” he sucked in a breath, swallowing his pride. “I’m sorry… for getting mad at you.”
Ami smiled. “It’s okay, Ev. I forgive you.”
Ev felt a smile creep onto his face. He rubbed the back of his neck. “I acted kind of stupid, didn’t I?”
“You just…” She chuckled. “Ok… I can’t really deny it. You did.”
Ev laughed. “Thanks for being honest.”
She smiled, her head tilted slightly to the side. Ev couldn’t help but stare. She was beautiful.
Ami raised an eyebrow and Ev ran a hand through his hair, looking away. “I, uh… should probably go now… Tony didn’t want to let me go see you.”
Ami grinned. “Well I’m glad he let you. I like seeing you… every now and then…” she turned on her heel and started off towards the girl’s dorm.
Ev cocked his head. “Only every now and then?”
Ami turned to face him with a look that told him he wasn’t getting the answer, then she continued on her way.
Ev chuckled to himself. Even if she never became his girlfriend, he sure had a great friend.

Wrecker
He waved at the girls when Steve introduced him. They seemed nice.
Bucky eyed one of them. Wrecker restrained a snicker.
He was quickly distracted, however, by a group of characters coming in.
His brothers! Or at least two of them…..
Tech and Crosshair, along with who was probably their roommate, looked around. Maybe looking for a seat? Wrecker waved his wing to beckon them closer.
[IDK how big this table is. Worst case scenario, they can take the table right next to the big group.]
“I didn’t know you were here!” Tech chirped as he came close.
Wrecker nodded. “I sure am! Who’s your new friend?”
“His name’s Tirion.” Crosshair explained. “What about yours?”
(ok, we’ve got most of them together. @freedomwriter76 can you RP for Hunter, William and Ableard’s group, so he can eventually join?)

Steve turned to face them with a small smile and a small wave.
Bucky glanced over at Riya. He smiled. “So, how old are you, Riya?”

She stepped into her dorm, straightening out her awry, shoulder length brown hair. Ezra had just asked her to the dance…she had partially expected him to do early anyhow.
She saw both Ara and Ami in the room.
She lifted a smile. “Hi, Ara, Ami. How’s everything going?”

Ami had a small smile on her lips as she walked back to her dorm room. She was glad everything with Ev was straightened out. Maybe he wouldn’t care as much when Clint asked her to the dance.
Her thoughts came to a screeching halt.
When Clint asked her to the dance…
It was more like, if Clint asked her to the dance. After all, he had expressed no obvious interest in her. He was only being cordial… right…?
Her thoughts became jumbled again as she walked into her dorm room. Ara looked up as Ami walked in.
“Hey!” She said softly.
Ami forced a smile and held up her hand in a small wave. “Hi…”
Ara cocked her head. “Everything all right?”
“Well…” Before Ami had time to form her answer, Eva walked in with a smile.
“Hi, Ara, Ami. How’s everything going?”
Ami sighed. “In all honesty, I was better than I was twenty minutes ago, but not as good as I was two minutes ago.”
Eva raised an eyebrow and tilted her head to the side slightly.
Ami chuckled. “I’ll sum it up in one word… Guys.”
Eva smiled knowingly and took a seat on one of the beds. “I gotcha.”
“Speaking of that,” Ami continued, “Have you two been asked to the dance yet?”

@freedomwriter76 I think they were just getting situated–Hunter was showing his drawings to the other boys–so if you want to skip that, we can just say they’re on their way to the lunchroom or something. Or they can walk by on the others’ way out or something.

Ara smiled understandingly at Ami, feeling bad for the girl and her predicament, whatever it might be.
“Speaking of that, have you two been asked to the dance yet?”
Ara slowly closed her journal, pulling her knees to her chest and adjusting her long dress over them. She shook her head, thinking for a moment.
“I’ll probably go with friends,” She said, “You know, more of a…fun event then a-a…” She shrugged unable to think of the word.
It wasn’t that she didn’t want to be asked by someone…
She did…
But, she knew that her someone was much too shy to ask her. If he even thought of her like that…
And…she didn’t want to make things weird. Or complicated.
They’d been best friends since…well, as long as she could remember!
What if…
Her feelings changed that?
Besides, he would have to ask her, and even if he did return those feelings…like everyone said he did…
November was…
So shy.
Ara gave a small, nearly indiscernible giggle.
It was one of the things that made him so sweet.
She turned back to Eva and Ami, resting her head on her knees. “What about you, Eva?”

Eva smiled at Ami and Ara. She brushed a strand of her brown hair behind her ear. “Actually…yes…I have been asked to the dance by Ezra. He actually just asked me not long ago. I ran into him in the hall…and he asked me to the dance.”
The two girls smirked.
Eva huffed. “Okay, everyone knows we’re a couple already, it’s not that big of a deal.” She grinned. “I wonder if any of our other friends have been asked to the dance yet.”
Abelard
They walked down the hall, on their way to the dining hall.
William was planned to meet up with Esther…and likely ask her to the dance.
Abelard didn’t have anyone to ask, but he’d probably just find one of his friends that also had no one to go with him.
He’d invite his sister to come…but he also wanted to see her and Leon go to the dance together.
They entered the dining hall, and Hunter seemed to see someone he knew.
