Tony

The teacher droned on and on about Calculus.

But it was already things Tony knew and understood.

He merely looked over his notes.

He still needed to get good grades, after all. It wasn’t like he could exactly afford to get bad grades.

He wouldn’t though. He’d make sure of that.

But he did know what the teacher was talking about…and his heart was beating slowly…he needed to check it out. Tony raised a hand.

The teacher glanced at him. “Yes, Mr…?” he glanced at a clipboard, “Tony? There is no last name listed…”

Tony inwardly flinched at the reminder that he was now, in fact, an orphan. “May I have a hall pass? I need to…”

The teacher just nodded. “Yes, you may. But hurry back as soon as you can, this is important.”

“Yessir.” Tony replied. He stood. “I’ll be back.” He whispered to Sam and Ev, hurrying away from his desk, taking what the teacher gave him, and hurrying to the boys’ bathroom.

He rushed inside, quickly made sure no one was in the room, and unzipped and removed his jacket, revealing the white T-shirt underneath that had a blue glow on the chest area from the Arc Reactor in his chest.

They had died so suddenly…life had changed instantly.

Tony closed his eyes against the familiar pain. His reactor seemed fine enough.

Not that he could tell. He still didn’t entirely…understand it. Same as Bucky didn’t quite understand his metal arm.

Although Tony’s was…even more complicated.

He sighed and began putting his jacket back on, when the door opened and two boys entered the bathroom.

So I was kinda thinking maybe we could do it where we start it tomorrow ms the dorms and all of that stuff has already been announced and it’s a done deal and the students are moving in now? Because honestly I don’t wanna RP all of the “Announcing and calling parents and yada yada” and I doubted y’all wanted to do that too??? XD XD it just seemed like a ton of hassle for something that is supposed to be fun XD so what do y’all think? We can just start it “the next day”

 

 

except it’s not “the next day?” Maybe a couple days have passed?

ANYWHOODLE TIME TO RP!!

 

Paxton

Soren nodded, answering Eva’s question. “Yes. We’re headed to History. I have Calculus, but I needed to drop him off first.” Soren glanced at the little boy, and then at Ezra and Eva. He went silent for a moment before continuing, “If…you’re headed that way,” he turned to Paxton, “Do you want to go with them?”

Paxton blinked, then looked up at Soren, eyes wide, wavering under the questioning gaze.

Was this a trick?

Soren’s eyes seemed sincere…

Paxton slowly nodded, gripping the strap of his backpack tighter. Soren nodded back, turning to Eva and Ezra.

“If you’re headed that way, he can walk with you. I’d like to get to Calculus early.” Soren exchanged a small look with Paxton.

And then, he smiled.

Though it was so faint, only Paxton would’ve picked up on it.

It was then Paxton knew Soren was being sincere, and in truth, he was just trying to give the young boy a way out. A small…escape.

At least for a few moments.

Paxton stated at his brother, blue eyes still open in shock. He then slowly nodded, acknowledging the subtle exchange between them.

 

 

 

(Freedom, how about Aramis, but Grimm steps in?)

Grimm

He heard it happening before he could do anything about it. He was a bit preoccupied, in one of the bathroom stalls, but the voice made his blood boil…

“You must be new around here,” Aramis said, followed by a quick thud into what was either the wall or a sink. “That’s a pretty nightlight you got there. What’s it do?”

“Don’t touch it,” another voice replied. Unfamiliar, but crisp. Whoever it was wasn’t playing around. Grimm couldn’t help but smile at the authority in the voice.

He could practically hear Aramis’ sneer, “What’s wrong? Afraid I’ll punch your lights out?” He chuckled to himself.

Grimm opened the door of his stall, causing both young men to turn, eyes wide.

Aramis straightened, brow raised. “Well, hello there Wolfboy.”

Grimm’s eyes narrowed, scanning the scene. He looked from Aramis to the stranger; a young man only a little younger than himself, with brown hair. What caught his eye, however, was the blue light that emanated from his chest.

He was currently backed against the sink, blocked by Aramis and his large wings, which were half-spread.

“Leave him alone, Aramis.”

“Yea? Why should I?”

Grimm growled, eyes narrowing into thin slits as he approached. Aramis turned to face him, his own eyes matching Grimm’s glare.

“Because if you don’t, I’ll take a bite outta those wings of yours.”

The boy behind Aramis, despite having been cornered, looked more agitated and annoyed than scared. He stood tall as well, eyes glaring.

Aramis’ fists clenched, and, realizing he was outnumbered, despite his size, muttered and stalked out of the bathroom.

Grimm watched him go before approaching the sinks, turning on the water to wash his hands.

The young man still stood at the counter, head tilted as he looked from the bathroom door to Grimm.

“Hey, ah…thanks, man.”

“Don’t worry about it. Aramis is a class-A jerk. But, I would warn you to stay away from him, and his brothers. They run a nasty game around here.”

The young man leaned against the sinks, brow raised. “Yea?”

“Yea. Headmistress’ sons.” The boy whistled, nodding.

“Great. Can’t say I’m not surprised. Kinda used to those types…”

Grimm glanced at him. The young man stuck out his hand after Grimm dried his own.

“Name’s Tony.”

“Grimm.”

 

Nyx & Luna (wasn’t sure whose POV to use lol)

“I really am sorry about your glasses…” Luna frowned, tugging on her purple ombred hoodie anxiously. She hopped from foot to foot as the group walked, wishing there was some way she could go back in time and fix things. “I promise, I’ll get you a new pair as soon as I can!”

“N-No it’s okay! R-really!” Bruce stuttered, attention to fix the cracked glasses onto his face. Luna just frowned harder. She shook her head.

“But it’s not! I have a friend who wears contacts…and when he doesn’t have contacts he has to wear glasses…and if I broke his glasses…it would be terrible! I’d feel so bad! And I feel so bad now! Can…can I give you a hug? Maybe that would make me feel better…” She squeezed her eyes shut. “No…that’s silly…but! Maybe it’ll make you feel better?”

Bruce seemed flustered at that notion.

“You can give me a hug!” Fynn said, getting a swift elbow to the gut from the boy next to him, Lukas. “Ow! Hey!”

Nyx glared at him, taking a step forward, putting himself between Fynn and Luna. He was still self-consciously tugging on one of his ears, muttering under his breath.

“Comic-con…stupid…don’t even look like….idiot…wouldn’t know a….hit him in the….”

Sure! 👍 I’ll just skip to the end of class. *gasps* Actually, I have an idea. Imma have Ev, Fynn, and Lukas run into Aramis after their class, @godlyfantasy12. 😬 Ev might just get in trouble on the first day of school.

Ami 

After an hour, but what felt like more than that, class was finally dismissed. Ami packed up her stuff and slung her backpack over her shoulder, filing out the door with the other students.

“We made it!” She said, as their group walked down the hall.

“What do you mean?” Clint asked.

“We made it through our first class of Algebra this year! We deserve a prize or something.” Ami said with a smile.

“You can say that again,” Steve agreed, chuckling. “But it only gets worse from here.”

Ami sighed. “True… unfortunately.” She rolled her eyes and chuckled. As they made their way to the lockers, Ami spied a group of students all crowding around something. She furrowed her brow. “What’s going on?” She murmured.

She ran ahead and stood on her tiptoes, trying to see over the crowd. “I can’t see anything,” she said.

She looked over at Steve. His fists were clenched and his jaw was set.

“Steve…” she said softly, her worry growing. “What’s going on?”

“I’m not entirely sure, but Everton’s a part of it.”

Ami gasped.

 

(I’m gonna just pretend that they’ve finished their first class 🙂 ). (@godly, Sorry, Fynn was being such a jerk. 😂 He needs some sense knocked into him. XD)

Lukas 

Lukas walked silently with their group, often glancing down at his shoes to avoid conversation. The rest of them were chatting like old friends as they walked to their lockers. Lukas didn’t mind. He didn’t feel like talking to people he didn’t know very well.

Not paying attention, he suddenly ran into someone and stumbled backward, almost falling down. He avoided eye contact with the boy he had run into. “I— I’m sorry.” He began to walk again, but was stopped. The boy pushed him back.

“Watch where you’re going, kid.” The boy said with a sharp glare. Lukas nodded and quickly walked away.

A sudden mocking laugh made Lukas stop.

“So, you’re an artist, huh?” The boy said, coming closer. Lukas slowly turned around, nodding.

“Yeah,” he said softly, lifting his eyes and noticing the boy flipping through one of Lukas’s notebooks. “Hey, give that back!” Lukas said, lunging for the notebook. The boy suddenly flew up in the air with wings Lukas hadn’t noticed before. He landed again, and sneered.

“Why?” He slowly flipped the pages, looking from the notebook and back to Lukas again. “Is there something you don’t want me to see?”

“No, it’s just…” Lukas sucked in a breath. “Give it back! I mean it!”

The boy laughed and threw his head back. “Who’s Skylar? You doodled her name.”

Lukas blushed. “Give it back,” he said again, this time his voice softer.

“Yeah,” a voice broke in. “Give it back.”

Ev

Ev pushed through the crowd that was forming. He held out a hand. “I’m serious,” he said, locking eyes with the boy.

“And why should I do that?” The boy taunted.

“Because that’s not yours.”

“Who are you to tell me what to do?”

“I’m his brother. And you don’t want to mess with me,” Ev said, sounding more confident than he felt. This guy had wings. And if he wasn’t mistaken, he was also the headmistress’s son.

The boy cocked his head. “Well someone’s getting brave. I don’t want to give it back.”

“We can tell,” Ev said, slowly walking forward. “I’m not kidding. Give it back or I’ll take it back.”

“Challenge accepted.”

Before the words were even out of the boy’s mouth, Ev lunged forward and tackled him to the ground, causing a collective gasp from the crowd.

“Ev!” Ami’s voice cried out. Ev ignored her.

The boy quickly tossed him off and jumped back, but Ev didn’t stop. He ran forward again, but this time, he didn’t make contact. The boy flew straight into the air, sending Ev barreling into the crowd. He ran into a few people but didn’t take the time to apologize.

The boy was now a few feet off the ground. He held the notebook with two fingers, his arm extended from his body. If Ev jumped, he could probably reach it. He took a running start and leaped, his fingers barely grazing the notebook.

The winged boy landed softly on the ground, a smirk still on his face. Ev lunged at him again, this time knocking him to the ground. He pinned him and the boy was unable to escape. “Give it back,” he demanded.

With a look of disdain, the boy tossed the notebook across the floor. It landed in front of Lukas and he slowly picked it up, stepping away. Before Ev let go of the boy, he looked him in the eye. “Never mess with my brother again,” he said through clenched teeth.

The boy raised an eyebrow smugly.

Ev pushed down harder. “I mean it.” He slowly released him and stood up, backing away while keeping his eyes trained on him. With his head held high, the boy walked away, the crowd making a path for him.

Ev avoided everyone’s shocked gazes. There was no doubt he’d get in trouble now. He nudged Lukas. “Come on, let’s go.”

“Ev,” Ami said softly, touching his shoulder. Ev turned to face at her, but quickly looked away, not able to handle the look of disappointment in her emerald eyes. He sucked in a breath.

A sharp female voice caught his attention. “Everton Barlowe, is it?”

Ev slowly turned to face the headmistress of the academy. “Yes. It is.”

Tony nodded. “Nice to meet you, Grimm.”

Grimm nodded. “To you as well, Tony.”

The bell rang.

Tony groaned. “Ugh…I missed the last of calculus. Oh well, I already know the material.”

Grimm raised an eyebrow.

Tony chuckled. “I’m a Math geek.”

He heard voices…a commotion. “What the heck?” He muttered, zipping on his jacket, covering the reactor, heading to the door of the bathroom and opening it.

Grimm followed behind him.

“Why did he call you Wolf-” Tony stopped when he saw a huge crowd…and the stupid bully, Aramis, who had been bullying him in the bathroom, bullying someone else.

He saw Sam…and Ev. Ev was getting involved, trying to get a notebook from Aramis, who refused to give it back.

Sam walked over to Tony, handing him his backpack. “I got your stuff. Who’s-?”

“This is Grimm.”

“And who’s that freak?” Sam whispered, pointing at Aramis.

“Aramis…one of the headmistress’ sons. They’re bullies.” Grimm replied stiffly.

Tony put his backpack on his back. He also saw Steve…Clint…Bucky…Natasha….Clint…everyone. Along with Amidala, Lukas, Fynn, and two others that Tony didn’t know.

One of them looked like he was going to a comic con though…what with ears on his head. Tony chuckled to himself. He could call him cat boy.

The fight continued.

Tony’s gaze drifted around the room. It landed and stayed on Bruce, who was standing beside a girl that was almost completely purple from head to toe, including her hair. And she had pointed ears…like an elf.

Bruce kept clenching and unclenching his fists and closing his eyes, occasionally pushing up his glasses. And his fingers were beginning to turn green at the tips.

Oh no. 

 

Eva

Eva smiled softly at Paxton as Soren walked off. “You can walk with us. We’d love to have your company.”

Paxton just nodded. Eva smiled.

They walked, and Eva and Ezra put Paxton in the middle of them, making sure they’d keep him safe.

Ezra smiled at Paxton. “How are you doing lately, Paxton?”

Aramis

Aramis grinned as his mother approached, her brown curls falling over her shoulders. Her heels clicked, echoing down the now quiet hall.

“What is going on here?” She turned to Aramis, who immediately wiped the grin off his face. He gripped his arm in lock pain, an expert at this kind of stuff.

He had been since he was a boy. Having an older brother who was constantly getting all the accolades, all the attention…

He had to find some way to catch his mother’s eye.

“Nothing, Mother…I just wanted to look at the new boy’s artwork. But…I guess I should’ve just minded my own business…”

Lilith’s eyes softened for a slight second before turning back to Everton and the others.

Nyx growled. “Liar.” He hissed. Lilith narrowed her eyes.

“Excuse me?”

“I said, he’s a liar! He stole-“ The kit was cut off by a hand on his shoulder.

Grimm.

The older boy shook his head slightly, not wanting the kit to get into trouble. The boy huffed, muttering under his breath.

Lilith sighed, turning to Everton. “Let’s make sure this doesn’t happen again, hm?  I happen to know for a fact you’re not exactly the most well behaved of students. Let’s try to make this year a bit better, hm? I’ll give you a warning this time, but next time you will receive detention.”

Everton looked away, glaring at the floor.

“Am I understood?”

“Yes ma’am…” He muttered.

“Good. Aramis, come.” Lilith said, turning on her heels and walking away. Aramis grinned, following along behind, but not before shooting a winking glance at Amidala.

 

 

Paxton

Paxton didn’t answer, keeping his head low. He absentmindedly fingered the hem of his uniform, thinking for a moment.

He wouldn’t even know how to answer if he would speak…

Life had…

Been rough the past few weeks.

Okay…scratch that.

The past few years.

All of his life really…

Eva gave him a concerned glance, frowning a bit. “You know…you can tell us if…if you need anything.”

Paxton offered her a small smile, though it didn’t meet his eyes. He knew she meant well. All of his friends did.

But they couldn’t help him. None of them could. His mother, his brothers…they were too powerful.

And even if they weren’t, they were his family…

He couldn’t leave family right?

You…you didn’t get to choose family…

Just like how he didn’t get to choose to be born…

Born a…a…

A Flit.

A mistake.

It wasn’t anybody else’s fault.

It was just his lot in life.

Maybe if he’d been born better things wouldn’t be so bad…

But…he didn’t really have that chance did he?

“Paxton?” The boy jumped as a hand touched squeezed his shoulder, sending pain through him as it landed on a still fresh bruise.

“Oh, sorry bud!” Ezra said, releasing the boy. Paxton cowered in on himself a bit, shaking his head to let him know it was okay.

He hadn’t known…

their pretty large, three-two beds and a bathroom.

Grimm will be with Nyx cuz they’re always hilarious 😂

 

Arthur can be wherever. He’s prone to hilarity so yea XD and despite not having a family will have a load of stuff to bring to the dorm…. XD he’s that guy who has more bags than a girl does when going on trips…and he lives on the street…. 🤦🏻‍♀️ XD XD

But hey, appearances matter yall 😂

 

as for Paxton…not sure who he’d stay with…but I’m thinking maybe Wolfgang and whoever else is with him but we could also totally go off script and throw him with someone else. He also knows Leon so yea.

And then there’s all the marvel kids, and the girls, and Ami and Ev, and Fynn, OOOH FYNN WOLFGANG AND PAXTON?! OR FYNN LUKAS WOLFGANG AND PAXTON? Maybe since they’re all younger they decided to put them all together even tho it’s four?! I like that idea…. XD XD

 

also thinking the girls are on the east wing and the guys on the west for obvious reasons.

Hunter…..he can be wherever, but since I’m also considering adding their other siblings, I’d like him to be with one of his brothers. Once I introduce them (probably within the next day or so) I’ll figure out where they’ll be.
