More people…

More people were going to get hurt….

Paxton’s breaths grew quick. Shallow. He backed away.

“Why don’t you tell them, Paxton?” The sound of his name, coming from Dietrich made the boy go rigid. He shook his head, backing into one of the lockers behind him.

“P-Paxton? How do you know-?” Wolfgang stared at him for a moment, but didn’t get the chance to answer because Nyx had pushed through Adolphus, but the older boy had grabbed him by the shoulders, lunging him forcefully back to the ground.

“Leave him alone!” One of the boys who had arrived cried, the one Dietrich held back.

Adolphus grabbed Nyx by one of his ears, pulling him to his feet. The kit let out a hiss that sounded like a cross between anger and pain.

“Stupid little rat. You’re gonna pay for scratching me.” Adolphus growled, reeling the boy’s head back. Nyx spat on him.

This, of course, only made him angrier.

Paxton covered his eyes, waiting for the inevitable.

“Let. The kit. Go.”

(Uh oh XD.)

 

A voice deep as gravel spoke, making Paxton force his eyes open.

A young man with jet black hair, just as tall as Adolphus, had a hand on his shoulder. His eyes flared a deep cobalt blue with flecks of fiery gold, burning with passion. He growled.

 

Like a wolf.

Squeezed Adolphus’ shoulder.

“Now.”

Adolphus stared at the young man in silence. “Grimm.”

“I said, let him go.”

“And why should I?”

Grimm didn’t answer, instead just continuing to glare. Adolphus glanced behind the young man, and, without a word, slowly released the fox boy.

Paxton blinked.

What…?

Paxton looked around behind Grimm, finding a petite young lady, with blonde curls in a high ponytail.

Her face was pale, the only color the dark red in her cheeks. Her expression was dark, labeled with furrowed brows and a thin line that was her mouth. Her fists were clenched in anger.

Like a firecracker just before it explodes.

“It’s her brother.” Was all Grimm said.

Adolphus’ mouth twitched, and he glared at Lyn. “Well…I suggest she keep him on a tighter leash.”

Nyx’s eyes widened at the remark and he let out a cry of indignation. “Why I oughta-!”

“And you…” Lyn stepped forward, jabbing a finger at Adolphus, “Best remember what happened to Kainda…”

Adolphus glanced at Dietrich.

It was only rumors right now…but…Kainda had been one of the best of the best under Edrich and Aramis…

 

Until she’d messed with someone too close to Grimm…

 

Too close to Jocelyn…

 

Wether all the rumors were true, no one was for sure…but…Lyn, and Grimm, had a bit of a reputation among Edrich’s little gang…

And from then on…you had to be careful messing with their friends…

 

Not that it stopped it completely….

 

You just…had to be a bit more careful.

 

Paxton had heard of all of this from his brothers…through whispered conversations, they probably didn’t even know he’d heard.

One of the only good things about being quiet….

“Fine.” Adolphus huffed, releasing Nyx, whose nose twitched in anger, yet adorably. “But this isn’t over…” he glared at Lyn, and then cast a look at Nyx. “You’re brother better watch his back.”

Lyn’s fists clenched tight, and she looked about ready to ring his neck.

Dietrich released the one young man, and the two stalked off, leaving them all alone.

“Oh Nyx!” Lyn cried, wrapping her arms around him. He blushed slightly, going rigid.

“Lynnie!”

“Did they hurt you?!” She furiously began checking him all over, for any signs of damage. Paxton watched with a haunt of jealousy, wishing he had someone who cared that much about him…

“Just my pride…” he huffed, crossing his arms.

“You gotta be more careful,” Grimm said.

“And what? Let them pick on Wolfgang?” He pointed. Wolfgang waved awkwardly.

Lyn waved back. “Nice to meet you. I’m Jocelyn, Nyx’s sister. This is Grimm, my boyfriend.”

“I’m Luna! This is Paxton,” Luna pointed to the white haired boy, who was still shrunk against the lockers, eyes red.

“Nice to meet you!” She turned around. “Oh…I suppose we left the others in the dust…”

“You we’re pretty worried.” Grimm stated.

The others approached.

“Nyx!” A girl with brown hair cried.

“Hey Ara.”

“You okay?”

“Yea, yea..” he waved her off. She smiled.

Introductions we’re given all around, including from the two who had showed up to help Wolfgang….

 

Turned out…they were two of his brothers…

Much different from mine.

but then…Adolphus and Dietrich…they had called Wolfgang brother too…

 

Was…was Wolfgang kind of like him?

Paxton glanced at him. The two caught eyes and Paxton looked away, still trembling slightly.

“Hey, are…are you alright?” Paxton’s head snapped up, looking straight into brown eyes.

He gasped, stepping back.

“Oh, I’m sorry…I…I didn’t meant to scare you..” the young lady…Ara she’d said…frowned. “I just…you looked so scared. You must be new, right? You seem pretty young…you both do,” she glanced at Wolfgang.

“I got to skip a grade,” he spoke proudly.

Paxton looked at his feet. His reason for being there wasn’t near as…glorious.

It was…a punishment.

“I see!” Ara laughed, her voice sounding like bells. Paxton glanced at her shyly. She smiled at him.

“Hey…” she whispered. “It’s alright…those two bullies are gone now. They won’t bother you.”

He looked away.

If only she knew…

@freedomwriter76 sooo I’m considering making Grimm’s sister old enough to go to school here as well. However she is deaf and thus unable to speak. She communicates through sign and notes. The sign will look like this

etc. and for charries who don’t know sign she’ll use notes and her phone she carries on hand.

Also thinking of adding Conan! He’s mute and Blind. They’d be the same age as Nyx and Luna.

Mirella has white hair like Paxton that falls to her mid back, worn down with a flower crown of light pink flowers, and her hair is really soft. Her eyes are a very pretty blue.

Conan is black, with dreads, and kinda like white eyes (he’s blind so…yea). Mirella is extremely sweet, loves her brother but also wishes he wouldn’t be quite so protective of her. She adores Jocelyn and thinks Nyx is hilarious.

Conan is also very kind, he stands up for what’s right, despite his disabilities, he hates bullies, and is protective of Mirella. They’re best friends. They’re also friends with Nyx.

 

these would just be like side characters for mentioning and stuff since this is a school filled with multiple students 😂

Oh and Conan and Mirella, unlike some kids, are fairly untouchable. They might be picked on a bit verbally, but other then that…mostly untouchable…

 

the reason being….

 

The rumors involving Kainda…and everything surrounding that…

So even if someone their with is being bullied, they’re kinda pushed to the side. If they try to stop it, at the most they’re held back, or something like that….

So not entirely untouchable just…the bullies keep their distance due to everything surrounding the Kainda rumors.

Adolphus and Dietrich were total jerks.

“Hey…Wolfgang…are you alright? He didn’t hurt you…did he?”

Wolfgang smiled and shook his head. “No…just gripped my wrist a little hard. I’m alright.”

Jakob smiled, and turned to the others.

Quick introductions were made.

Grimm, who had stopped Adolphus.

Jocelyn, Nyx’s sister.

Arabella, their friend.

Ezra.

Eva.

Leon.

Abelard.

Luna.

And, of course, Paxton and Nyx.

“I’m Joshua, this is my brother Jakob, and this is Wolfgang, our youngest brothers. Those two were…well…”

“Our stupid, jerk stepbrothers.” Jakob interrupted with a roll of his eyes.

“Well…there’s a nicer way to put it…but yes…they are our stepbrothers.” Joshua said with a small smile. “I’m glad your brother is safe.” He said to Jocelyn.

Leo

Leo shrugged. “I guess I’m not too bad…but English is my favorite…don’t really care for the other subjects…heh. What about you? What’s your favorite subject?”

November turned to face him.

“Thank you. And thanks for trying to help. I’m glad your brothers alright as well.”

“So those jerks are your…what was it….step-brothers?” Nyx crossed his arms.

Jakob crossed his arms as well. “Sadly.”

“Paxton…?” Wolfgang slowly turned to the white-haired little boy. He rubbed one of his arms. “Do…do you know my step-brothers…?”

Paxton frowned, stepping back. He looked at the crowd around him. Jocelyn, Ara, Eva…

The larger boys…Grimm and Ezra, and Wolfgang’s brothers…Joshua and Jakob…

Jakob had looked…so…angry at his step-brothers…

W-Would they hurt him if he said yes?

He looked at his shoes.

Glanced up.

But then…

Leon was there…

The one from earlier…who…who had helped him…

 

And…and these people didn’t seem like the kind to hurt others…

Ara knelt down, “Hey…it’s alright…you don’t have to answer,” she spoke softly, reaching out a hand.

He flinched violently. Ara gasped, pulling back her hand.

Paxton glanced at Wolfgang, and then nodded, answering his question on if he knew his brothers.

“How..?” Wolfgang asked.

“They showed up earlier, when I met you…” Leon walked up. “Paxton, is it?” Paxton nodded. “You we’re with your brothers…Edrich and Aramis…and Soren.”

Jocelyn gasped. “Y-You’re…” everyone stared at her, except Ara and Grimm who were looking wide eyed at Paxton.

“You’re the youngest Fallon…Paxton Fallon…that’s why your name is so familiar.” Grimm spoke.

A whimper escaped Paxton’s lips.

“They were bullying him.” Leon glared at nothing, fists clenching.

Ara’s eyes softened. “Your own brothers…?”

“Half-brothers.” Lyn pointed out. “You’ve heard about the Fallon’s and their infamous youngest, remember?”

“Jocelyn.” Grimm stopped her, motioning to the boy. Paxton was staring at his shoes, sniffing.

Another boy approached, bending down. He was strong, muscled. The one who also helped Leon earlier.

Ezra.

“Hey…don’t cry…” The young man smiled as his girlfriend approached.

“You don’t have to be afraid of us. None of us are going to harm you, sweetheart.” Eva smiled.

Paxton looked up, nodding slowly.

Wolfgang gently grabbed Paxton’s hand, and this time, he didn’t flinch. “Yea…you’re…you’re kind of like me… and my brothers.”

A buzz sounded over the intercom. Another message that class would be starting soon. Nyx hissed at the sound.

“Looks like we’ll all be separating…” Leon spoke, looking at his schedule. “Where are you all headed?”

“Geography,” Said Ara, looking at her schedule.

“Oh that’s mine too!” Luna smiled.

Paxton was fumbling with his own schedule. Wolfgang looked at it. “Looks like you have Geography too.”

“We can go together!” Luna smiled.

“I have physics,” Grimm nodded.

“Same.” Nyx frowned. “Boring.”

“Social studies!” Lyn announced.

“I’ll take Nyx,” Grimm said.

“I don’t need a babysitter.”

“We’re already going the same direction.” Grimm rolled his eyes.

“Fine,” Nyx pouted.

“What about all of you?” Ara asked the others.

“I have History.” Jakob said with a small smile.

“Me too!” Wolfgang cried, looking at his schedule.

“I have physics…so I’ll go with Grimm and Nyx.” Leon said with a smile.

He actually didn’t mind physics.

Math was his favorite subject, after all, followed by science.

“I have social studies too.” Eva said, turning to Jocelyn with a smile.

“Great! We can go together!”

“I have geography.” Joshua said, turning to Luna, Arabella, and Paxton. “So, I guess I’m going with you guys.”

“I have Spanish class.” Abelard replied. Chuckled. “Can’t say I enjoy it the most.”

Ezra glanced at his schedule. “Well, I have English, so I guess I’m off on my own.”

“Be careful.” Eva whispered with a worried frown.

Ezra shrugged. “I’ll be fine. Besides, I don’t think they’d try anything until after school anyways.”

Eva sighed. “Just…be careful…okay…?”

Ezra nodded. “I will.”

“Excuse me! Do you know where the physics class is!? We are very, very lost!” A dark-haired girl suddenly cried, followed by a blonde-haired boy. Behind them, a dark brown-haired boy, most certainly older than the other two, trailed behind. The girl giggled. “We thought we had regular science class next, but it was physics! Do you know where the class is? I’m Angelina!”

“Some of us are about to head over there. You’re free to join us.” Leon offered.

“Great! This is my new friend Jayden, and this,” Angelina grabbed the dark brown haired young man’s arm, pulling him forward, “is my older brother Riker!”

“Hi Riker!” Jocelyn greeted with a wave. “Good to see you again!”

Riker smiled faintly. “Nice to see you again too. You too, Grimm, Nyx…”

“You know them!?” Angelina asked.

Riker laughed and nodded. “Yes, I do. See, I’m not completely hopeless.”

Angelina turned her attention to some of the others. “Hi Abelard!”

Abelard smiled and waved. “Hey. You’re my sister Aadelheide’s best friend, aren’t you?”

“Mmhm!” Angelina then turned to Leon with a big grin. “And you must be Leon! Aadelheide talks about you all. The. Time!”

Leon felt his cheeks flush. “Come on…not all the time…”

“She does too! But don’t worry! Riker has a girlfriend too! Iris!”

“Ang…” Riker hissed. But merely rolled his eyes. “She’s not my girlfriend.”

“You wish she was!”

Riker sighed.

Jayden quietly chuckled and pushed up his glasses.

“Anyways, who are all of you!?” Angelina asked.

Everyone quickly introduced themselves.

“Nice to meet all of you! Like I said, I’m Angelina, this is my brother Riker, and this is my new friend Jayden! We had to stop some bullies that were being mean to them…but Riker didn’t let me handle them…” Angelina said, crossing her arms. “They needed to stop.”

“They weren’t worth our time, Ang…”

“The same bullies, weren’t they?” Leon asked.

“…What?” Riker asked, looking up at him.

“Four tall boys, all way too prideful?”

“Adolphus, Dietrich, Edrich, and Aramis are the names I heard some of the other kids say!” Angelina cried.

His favorite..?

Did…did he have a favorite?

He tugged at a loose curl, chuckling awkwardly.

“Umm…w-well…I ah…I’m not sure…” he blushed slightly, “So…don’t laugh…but…out of all of them…it’d probably be…um,” He frowned, looking away embarrassed. “Home Ec.” He whispered.

Not exactly the coolest subject…but one of the only ones he was fairly good at…

And…

 

He liked to cook. And bake. So…there was that.

Even if he did make quite a mess most of the time. It was…fun.

And the teacher there didn’t mind as much as others…in fact, she usually just laughed and sometimes even joined in, making it a bit of a game.

 

 

Ara

“That’s them…” Ara frowned. She shook her head, and then looked at the little white haired boy. He seemed so…scared. Skittish and quiet.

She remembered her first day of school, feeling the same, though…she hadn’t had to deal with bullies at every corner since she had Lyn and Grimm to back her up.

And…she didn’t have siblings who were cruel either…

“Well, we best get going.” Someone said.

“Oh. Yes,” Ara replied.

The group said their goodbyes, parting ways. Ara waved to her friends, Lyn, Grimm and Nyx, and then looked down at the two kids with her, and then at Joshua.

“Do you want to lead the way?” She asked Joshua.

 

Grimm

Grimm took up the front, leading the small group to physics class. Without Jocelyn, things were…rather quiet.

Grimm wasn’t exactly known for his small talk.

“So…ah, Grimm right?” Leon tried. Grimm glanced at him, nodded.

“Don’t try it, Grimm doesn’t do chit chat.” Nyx snickered.

Grimm pursed his lips, giving the kit a side glare. “Not true. I just don’t have anything of interest to say.”

“Because your booring. Honestly, why my sister keeps you around, I have no idea!” Nyx quirked his lips.

“I ask myself the same thing about you.” Grimm said cooly. Nyx made an indignant squeak, nose twitching and eyes widening. His shoulders raised in a pout.

Angelina laughed. Nyx looked at her with a pointed glare. She made a face. He stuck his tongue out at her.

“Lyn’s your sister then?” Riker asked.

“Yup.” Nyx said.

“She seems pretty…excitable,” Leon chuckled.

“I know how that can be…” Riker sighed and Angelina elbowed him in the side.

“She’s cool. Has terrible taste in guys though.” Nyx smirked snidely at Grimm, hands in his pockets.

Grimm rolled his eyes to the ceiling.

 

Jocelyn

“So you and Ezra…when did you meet?! Tell me EVERYTHING!” Jocelyn squealed, leaning close to Eva as they walked.

Eva laughed sweetly. “Everything?”

“Everything. You two are sooo cute together! Have you known each other long? GASP! Do you have a couple’s song? You totally need a couple’s song!”

“Home Ec.” November whispered, looking away, his cheeks slightly flushed pink.

Leo smiled. “Hey…nothing to be embarrassed about…Home Ec can be pretty fun. Do you like to cook, then?”

November slowly nodded. “Yeah…heh…”

Leo smiled. “Then it makes sense that you like it.”

November seemed like a nice kid.

Probably a smart one, too, even if he was pretty embarrassed about his favorite subject, Leo was sure he was probably really smart…and even…good at school.

Unlike him.

Leo shoved that thought aside and forced a smile, turning back to face November. “Well, we better get to Science before we’re late. You wanna lead the way?”

Joshua

“Do you want to lead the way?” Arabella asked with a smile, turning to face him.

Joshua smiled. “Of course. Right this way.”

He led them down the hall.

Paxton reminded him of Reuben in many ways.

Wolfgang too, but Paxton’s quietness…was not like Wolfgang.

Joshua quietly chuckled to himself.

Wolfgang could be a little loud…but they all loved him for it.

Reuben was the quiet one.

No one would ever expect that he was also the reckless one.

The one who always wanted an adventure.

The one who…well…got his arms broken too many times from falling out of trees.

The one who had an active imagination and played pirates and soldiers with Wolfgang, with Joshua, Jakob, and Leo jumping in whenever they had time.

Joshua smiled.

Such fond memories.

Riker

Grimm rolled his eyes.

Riker chuckled.

“Nyx! I’m sure Jocelyn has wonderful tastes! Don’t listen to him, Grimm! Ignore him!” Angelina said, giving the dark-haired young man a big grin.

Grimm smirked back at her. “Oh, I’m planning on it.”

Nyx huffed. “Yeah, right….you can’t ignore me.”

Angelina laughed, as did Leon, and Riker did as well.

He glanced behind them at Jayden, who was walking in silence.

He seemed very…quiet.

Much as Riker was…but he’d gotten better about it the past few years.

And, with a new school, he didn’t have to worry about everyone knowing that he had to repeat 11th grade.

Or that he was still failing.

Riker grimaced and pulled out his phone, opening his notes.

He’d finished writing and composing most of the song…but the second verse had him stuck.

Riker sighed.

Maybe he’d figure it out soon.

Eva

“Everything. You two are sooo cute together! Have you known each other long? GASP! Do you have a couple’s song? You totally need a couple’s song!”

Eva laughed. “No, I don’t think we have a song yet…”

“You NEED one!”

Eva laughed again at Jocelyn’s enthusiasm, and her cheeks slightly flushed pink. “I guess we do…and I’m sure we’ll find one…”

Jocelyn nodded. “You need to! Now, how did you meet? How long have you known each other?”

Eva smiled, thinking about it. “We’ve known each other for a about a year or so now…been dating for about 9 months…we met each other at our other school before we were transferred here…”

Jocelyn nodded. “Go on…” She urged, her eyes lighting with curiosity and enthusiasm.

Eva smiled and twirled a lock of her light brown hair. “We met at a football game. I was a cheerleader…he was captain of the football team. It was during halftime…he had to ask me where he could find some water…and…well…”

“Love at first sight?” Jocelyn asked with suggestive eyebrows.

Eva laughed. “Yes…love at first sight. We got to know each other first…but only after 3 months…we were dating. And we’ve been dating ever since…” She smiled. “And I wouldn’t ever want anyone else…”

Ezra (thought I’d do him…and he has no idea that Eva is currently talking about him. XDXDXD)

Ezra walked down the hall, phone out.

Mama was texting him, asking how the school day was going.

He was telling her that it was going great.

No reason for Mama to worry about the bullies he’d already had to deal with.

And likely would again.

But Ezra wasn’t afraid.

He smiled reading Mama’s text on how her day was going. She said it was pretty normal, taking care of his 1-year-old baby sister Jane.

Ezra smiled.

The only sibling still at home.

Lizzie and Margaret were both in college, Mary was married and beginning to raise a family of her own, and Elijah was also married, already raising two young kids.

It was nice having a sister still home…even if she was 16 years younger than he was.

Ezra smiled again and put his phone back into his pocket, adjusting his backpack and books.

He needed to get to English before he was late.

“Oh…yea.”

Science. Heh. Better then chemistry! At least in science he didn’t risk something exploding…in his face…

“S-sure, I can lead the way…” He sighed, taking the lead. “It’s pretty close by.” The two walked quickly so as not to be late. He glanced at Leo. “You..umm…said you like English..?”

“Yea.” Leo smiled slightly.

November swallowed, his assignment nudging at the back of his mind.

Maybe…maybe he could ask Leo for some help?

No…no. He…he barely even knew him.

He shook his head.

Besides, Ara would help him with it…she..she always did. He blushed at the thought.

“Why?” Leo questioned making November jump from his thoughts.

“N-No reason! Just…um…thinking about my assignment,” He faked a smile.

“Oh, you just leave English?”

“Y-yup…gotta write an essay.”

A 12. Page. Essay. 

“Ah, I’m sure you’ll do fine!”

November looked at his shoes. “Yea….right….”

 

Grimm

Grimm looked at the kit next to him as they grew closer to the classroom doors. “Nyx.”

“Hm?”

“You do realize you’re going to have to be more careful now, right? You can’t just…scratch someone and think that’s the end of it. Especially if that someone is Adolphus…”

“I’m not worried,” Nyx shrugged.

Grimm pursed his lips, “Yea, I know you’re not, but the fact remains. Jocelyn and I aren’t going to always be in the same classes. Aren’t always going to be around. And…while it worked earlier…” He looked at the boy sternly, “We won’t be able to protect you all the time.”

“I can handle myself.” Nyx glared, fists clenched at his sides. Grimm could feel the tension behind him as the others grew silent, watching the exchange.

“I know you think you can, but…these guys aren’t to be messed with, Nyx. Understand? I don’t want you provoking them.”

“So what? Just let them beat up whoever they want?”

“No. I just mean…don’t go provoke them needlessly. Because we all know you’re good at that,” Grimm narrowed his eyes, flicking one of the boy’s ears.

Nyx hissed lightly. “You’re not my dad, ya know!”

Grimm sighed. “Thankfully.”

Nyx’s fists clenched tighter, nose twitching. He pouted.

“Look. I’m just saying…be careful. And behave. And no skipping. If they catch you alone…” Grimm stretched out a hand to lay it on the boy’s shoulder but he slapped it away.

“I’ll be fine! Geez! Back off!” Nyx stomped away to the doors of the physics class up ahead, leaving Grimm and the small group.

Grimm sighed, eyes softening and brows furrowing.

 

Despite all of Nyx’s…annoying qualities…all of the banter, the pranks, the remarks…

Grimm…well…

He loved the little guy.

At first, Grimm didn’t know what to think of the kit…but now? He was like a little brother to him.

Just like Conan.

Though…he wasn’t sure if Nyx knew how he felt. Or even felt the same way…

Either way…he knew that if anything did happen to the boy…

Well…

It would be just like Mirella and Conan all over again….

His fists clenched.

No…he…he wouldn’t let it happen again….

A hand touched his shoulder. He glanced back at Leon.

“Hey…he’ll be alright, I’m sure.”

Grimm nodded. “I…I hope so.”

 

Jocelyn

“Ahh!” She squealed, “That’s so adorable! You, the cheerleader, cheering him on! Him, the big strong jock, seeing you from the distance! Your eyes lock….BOOM!” Jocelyn dramatically swooned, making Eva blush and laugh all at the same time. “You two are soo perfect!”

“Well, thank you.” Eva smiled.

“Of course!” Lyn returned it. “Now, if I could just get the most heaven-made romance in existence to happen…” She sighed overly loud. She turned to Eva, “But you see, it’s just soooo hard, because they’re both sooo obviously in love…but sooo painfully oblivious to the fact that the other loves them…it’s really adorable….but also just…” She made fists with her hands and grunted, unable to speak. Eva laughed harder.

“You’re talking about your friends…Ara and November right?”

“Yes! They’re just so perfect for each other! Have been since children! Did you know they met when they were five? Five! Of course, it was love at first sight for November….Ara though soon discovered she loved him in third grade….”

“You know them well.”

“I’m their biggest shipper,” Jocelyn laughed. “I even made a ship name for them! Aravember! Or Novella…I can’t decide….GASP! You and Ezra need a ship name! How about…Evra! EVRA FOREVA! AHH! Oh look, there’s our class.”

 

Paxton

Paxton stayed near Wolfgang mostly, preferring to hide behind him when possible. Wolfgang still held his hand too, which…made Paxton feel safe as well.

He wasn’t used to anyone touching him who wasn’t ready to hurt him…

“Hey…wanna head another joke?” Wolfgang asked.

Paxton smiled slightly and nodded.

 

“Why did the picture go to prison?”

Paxton thought for a moment, wondering if perhaps he could figure this one out. He glanced at Joshua who was smiling, and Ara who was listening, also intrigued.

He shrugged.

“Because he was framed!” Wolfgang laughed.

Ara looked at Wolfgang and then laughed sweetly, as did Joshua.

Paxton smiled, showing his teeth this time. A small giggle escaped his lips. Wolfgang gasped.

“Hey! I made you laugh!” He exclaimed excitedly. “Wait’ll I tell Luna!”

Leo

“Yea….right….” November said, looking at his shoes.

He didn’t seem very…confident.

“You’ll do great! I’m sure you’re a great writer.” Leo offered November a reassuring smile.

November bit his lip, just as he saw two doors. “Oh! Look! There’s the Science class!” He called, pointing.

Leo followed behind him.

They walked into the classroom, still a little early, but most students were already in there. Leo saw two open seats. “Come on…we can sit there.” He said, nudging November’s shoulder.

November nodded and followed him.

But after a minute or so, he heard a loud thud and turned around, just as November rubbed his head, on the floor, obviously having tripped. “November! Are you alright?” He saw a foot protruding from a desk. “Hey! You shouldn’t trip people!”

The young man slowly turned around with a smirk.

Leo slightly shrunk back.

Adolphus raised an eyebrow, just as his foot disappeared beneath the desk. “I didn’t trip him…I don’t know what you’re talking about, Leo…”

“November tripped over your stupid foot that was in the way.”

Adolphus shook his head. “No, it wasn’t, Leo…I didn’t trip him.”

“Then how did he trip?” Leo demanded, as he extended his hand to November, helping him stand.

“…Thanks…” November whispered, as his gaze fell back to his shoes again.

Leo turned on his brother.

Adolphus quietly chuckled. “Everyone in this school knows November is just a stupid klutz.”

(okay, so, Jakob and Leo both have a few anger issues, FYI. XD Jakob the most, but Leo’s anger can be fired up as well…and I think Adolphus just fired it…heh…heh…yea….)

“A stupid klutz!? And what, you think you’re so much better!?”

“I didn’t trip him Leo…calm down…before the teacher comes in here…November’s a klutz…everyone knows that…” Adolphus smirked. “In fact, he’s nothing but a stupid klutz.”

“Why do you have to bully everyone…!? November’s never done anything to you!”

“Leo…calm down…brother, you’re overreacting. November just tripped…I didn’t trip him…no one did. He tripped over his own stupid feet.”

Leo’s fists clenched.

Adolphus was lying.

And he did it with a stupid grin, as if he was proud of it.

Leo’s fists clenched tighter. “Why do you pick on him and everyone else!? Just to feel better about yourself!? You have no reason to pick on everyone you come across!”

“Leo…calm. Down.” Adolphus’ caution was slowly becoming a warning.

“You have no reason to feel better about yourself! You’re just a bully, Adolphus.”

“…Excuse me…?” Adolphus snarled, eyes narrowed.

“You tripped November! He’s a lot more than a stupid klutz. He’s kind and compassionate and just a good person, which is a lot more than you can say!”

“Leo…stop…it…” Adolphus snarled, just as the door to the classroom opened.

Eva

Eva laughed and followed Jocelyn into Social Studies.

“Evra Foreva…I like it…” Eva whispered.

Jocelyn laughed and grinned. “I knew you would!”

Wolfgang

Wolfgang laughed and ran up to walk beside Luna. “Hey Luna, wanna hear a joke?”

Luna nodded. “Of course! Throw it at me!”

Luna raised an eyebrow, thinking, but slowly, she shook her head. “I don’t know…why?”

Joshua and Arabella smiled, watching them.

Leon

“He will be…I’m certain.”

Grimm gave him a thankful smile. “…Thank you, Leon.”

Leon smiled. “Of course.”

“So, Grimm, you really love Jocelyn then, don’t you!?”

“Ang!” Riker cried, grabbing his sister’s arm and pulling her away.

“What!? I was just curious…him and Jocelyn are cute! Just like you and Iris!”

Riker sighed. “Ang…we’re not a couple…”

“You should be! You want to be a couple…don’t you…?” Angelina asked, raising an eyebrow.

Riker sighed again…then, slowly, smirked. “Well…I know you have a crush on a boy too…”

“Shush!” Angelina cried, cheeks flushing pink.

“Then stop asking everyone about their crushes and things like that…you obviously don’t want everyone to know about your crush…”

Angelina stuck her tongue out at her brother. “You’re no fun!”

November

Stupid klutz.

November winced, tugging at his curls until his scalp was sore. Everyone was staring now.

Wait…brother? Leo and Adolphus were…brothers? But Leo was so…and Adolphus and Dietrich were so…

He shook his head. He knew from experience how different families could be from each other.

He was the perfect example…

After all…he…he’d never measure up to his father….the perfect manners…stature…looks…everything.

“L-Leo…its okay…really. Adolphus is right,” November let out a wheezy laugh, “I-I am a klutz…”

 

 

“November, really. Is it that hard to keep your feet beneath you?” His father’s words echoed in his ears.

“No it’s not and-!”

The door opened and the room suddenly went cold as ice.

 

 

(OH YEA time to bring a charrie I haven’t even gotten to RP as yet!!)

Everyone turned. Even Adolphus’ face went slightly pale, though most wouldn’t have noticed.

Standing in the doorway was a girl, fairly tall with skin like moonlight. Ebony black hair framed her face, and she scanned the room with graying blue eyes.

Silently, she walked forward, and down to where Leo and November were still standing.

She stared at them both. Flicked her wrist.

“You’re blocking my seat.” She spoke cooly. Chills ran through the room. November shuffled out of the way, immediately sitting in whatever open seat was close by.

Leo slowly stepped back, letting her by. She sat down, and the pinned everyone who kept staring with a glare. They turned back to their own desks.

Adolphus pursed his lips, glancing at Leo with a shrug. Obviously their conversation from earlier was over. November watched Leo’s fists clench, but, he slowly sat down, next to November.

Adolphus turned, shooting a look at the black haired girl.

“Well, hey there Cori,” he leaned against his chair, grinning. She shot him a narrowed look. He sat up straight, gulping.

“Don’t even try it.” The girl spoke.

Adolphus glared but turned back around, silently pouting.
