Koshka and I were just going over the old RPs yesterday. Such good memories.
Actually, my favorite part of the Castle was Mikkel and Ezra+Eva. I wish that part had been longer, especially once Rikker showed up. XD I don’t know what’s my favorite bit from this school RP.

What had the kid done to himself? Knowing the chaos this school seemed to generate, Leo decided he didn’t want to know. He quietly took the used bandage so the kid wouldn’t have to move.

“…what I’m doing? Helping clean up a kid. Same job I’ve had since my sister was born.” Leo grinned, then let it fade. The old bandage disappeared into a trashbin. He moved to the sink to wash his hands. “Or did you mean like, with medical stuff? To be honest, I’ve got more expirence with radiation control, and uh…you know. Fallout. Victim recovery. All that joy.”
The water was cool on his skin. He rested his arms against the sink for a moment, enjoying the sensation. Letting it ground him in reality.
Wonder if this is what a polar bear feels like in the summer.

He finished wrapping the new bandage and then pulled his sweater back down over it. Now there was more blood on his clothes than his actual wound. He frowned down at the stained fabric. Before, his sweater had been soft and comfortable, but now it was all stiff. He looked up, realizing he had only been half-listening to the conversation.
“Radiation? From what?”

“From…well, bombs generally. Rockets, missiles, whatever version you like.” He slowly dried his hands off on a paper towel and turned to study the two boys. “Don’t know what fallout is? You kids don’t have nuclear fission back wherever you came from?”
A pair and a half of large questioning eyes stared back at him. The paper towel landed in the trash.
“It’s pretty powerful stuff. Not something you want to play with at home, especially if the region isn’t equiped to deal with the radioactive fallout–eh, debris.” He glanced at Rory with an apologetic smile.
He’d found that out the hard way…although, technically a junkyard wasn’t his home.
“So, not medical. More depressing actually. But uh, any nucs back home?”

He blinked slowly. “We have bombs. Planes drop them. I never knew how they worked. I just pushed the button… or did.” He swallowed and absently tugged at his sleeve, ensuring the burn scar was fully covered.
