He glanced over his shoulder at a soft touch on his arm. Rory? The boy was standing off to the side now, a comfortable slump in his otherwise perfect posture. Leo’s eyebrow quirked. Alright….
He turned back to the halfmade sandwiches, knife in hand, and caught glimpse hunger incarnate. The boy on the couch had his whole gaze pinned on the foodstuffs.
Leo added another couple slices of bread to the toaster.
He had five sandwiches ready by the time to tea was steeped. “You take sugar in your tea?”
