ok so this is embarrassingly dramatic but I kinda wrote myself into a corner and I’m not sure how else to get him out of this situation. ?

Dante stumbled back against the wall, Alpha’s pocket knife held defensively in one hand. He was too out of breath now to throw his usual quips and insults at his attacker.
Probably for the best.
Ace rushed forward again, and Dante dodged, landing another cut on Ace’s arm as he slipped past.
This wasn’t good. Dante knew how most knife fights typically ended. He was already hurt badly, and could feel it despite the adrenaline numbing most of the pain. He needed to get out.
Ace was between him and the door. But, behind him, he could feel a cool breeze blowing in from the curtained window.
That would work. Before the lizard could attack again, Dante grabbed a blanket from one of the beds and tossed it at him like a net. Then he used the precious few seconds that gave him to jump out of the open window.
Without looking back, he ran. Cars honked as he ran out into traffic, but he ignored them and kept going. His feet eventually took him back to the school. Of course. The front doors stood open welcomingly, but he began looking for another way in. On the side of the building, he found a basement window, just big enough for him to squeeze through. He got on his knees and pried it open, then climbed through down into the basement.
When he landed, his vision swam and he stumbled backwards. He quickly found himself sitting on the floor with his back slumped against the wall. His vision cleared, and he looked down to see the large gash in his side from Ace’s knife.
“…When did that happen?”
He stared at it for a moment, before carefully pulling off his sweater and using it to put pressure on the wound. Then he sat and waited. At some point he must have dozed off, because when he opened his eyes again, there was someone standing in front of him, looking a bit shocked.
Dante slipped his hand into his pocket where his knife was, ready to defend himself if he needed. Not that it would be very effective. He wasn’t even sure if he could stand in his current state.
He looked at the stranger and gave him a lopsided smile. His voice came out weaker than he would have liked. “Hey. Please do me a favor and don’t call the police.”
(You remember what Dante looks like, right? He’s an alien. Also he’s got a couple cuts on his arm and bruises around his neck, so he’s not looking great.)

He had been walking down the hall on his own. After working some time with Leo, he was feeling confidant enough to do a little exploring while the older boy was working.
He had just come around the corner when there, before him, was the strangest boy he had ever seen. The first thing Rory saw was the knife. His whole body stiffened and he slid into a position that would leave him ready for attack or flight.
The stranger gave him a lopsided smile, and Rory noted the blood for the first time. His throat threatened to close up. Had the Agents come back?
The kid spoke. “Hey. Please do me a favor and don’t call the police.”
“Police!” Rory gasped. “No, no not the police…” he trailed off. That was the same thing this kid had said. And Leo had seemed to have similar sentiments. Rory let out a slow breath and forced his breathing to steady. He swallowed. “Can you put the knife down?”

DanteHe looked the stranger up and down carefully, then down at his tiny weapon. Whatever. He folded the knife closed and put it back in his pocket. The guy seemed to relax a bit as he did.
Dante shifted, trying to sit up. He grimaced at the pain, and took a few slow, deep breaths before speaking again. “So, what, you work here or something?”

“Uh… no… I don’t know. I was a student, but then the Agents tried to kill me, so now I work with Leo.” He was looking at the blood and taking in the wounds. “Here, let me fix that up.” He reached out and then paused with a questioning look, waiting for permission to continue.

Dante pulled back as he approached.
“No, I’m fine. I can…” He attempted to stand a bit too quickly, but the sudden dizziness forced him to sit again. “…Or not.”
With a sigh, he pulled the cloth away from the wound, allowing the stranger to take a look.

I laughed so much when I read your RP with the dodgeball. Felicity is a menace, and I love her for it. I wrote a reply. I never sent it. I couldn’t figure out who to nominate for the other team captain, so any ideas? Lol.
I have several school assignments in various stages of late. If I respond before I finish those, please somebody thwack me. (Yeah, I have done a really bad job at keeping on track with my class’ assigned reading and writing. *sad stressed noises*)
Anyway. *Clears throat* I do intend to get an RP in tomorrow…

He’s fiiinnne. He’s not going to die in this rp. He just needs like stitches or something. (I’m not a doctor and have no experience with knife wounds. That might be completely unrealistic lol)
I trapped him in a room with Ace several months ago and then kinda regretted it cuz I realized he can’t realistically get out of that situation without some kind of injury.

My concern is tempered by the fact that most people in this story get stabbed. ? And you’re right, he can’t have perfect HP all the time if he’s a chaotic good character.
