Alpha sat down, leaning his back against the wall. His breath came quick and short. “Eh, not too bad. I’m not in as much pain as you’re probably thinking I am. And the injury itself isn’t the worst I’ve had. It’s deep, sure, but the worst injury is a possible punctured lung.” Alpha gathered himself for a minute or two, before standing. He winced as he stood, but once on his feet, he remained standing. His breathing still wasn’t normal, but he didn’t seem to care that much. “Let’s go find your brother. Do you have a way to contact him?”

Can someone tell me what’s happening in the story? please?

There are a lot of things happening right now that I don’t really know, but I’ll give you what I do.
So right now, there is a big fight going on, some bad agents what to do some bad things (I don’t really know what) and my guy Rax decided he just really wants to fight something since he’s been lock away in another dimension for like 2 years. In the fight, Rax hurt this flying kid with like six wings and is now down a floor in the high school. Some other agents are trying to do kidnap someone, again I don’t really know but I think it’s Ellette’s character? Alpha, RAE’s character, just got stabbed in a fight protecting some girl. And that’s all I know… hope that helped.

A 5′ 10″ automaton who is best friends with Rax. Ben is slender and in some part of him you can see right through him. He is rusty head to foot, and at his side hangs a sword. He carries a big backpack filled with random and useful things.

If you are really interested in understanding the fight, go to page 416 and read about anything that has to do with Rory, Leo, or Agents. If not, then Rax did an okay of explaining. There are plenty of other characters who refuse to get involved in the fight at this point.
Poor Alpha. When Rory finds out about this, his gonna lose it.

Rory could still feel the firm warmth from Marcel’s handshake. It made him feel sick. This was all his fault, and this kid didn’t really seem to understand that. If he did, he would be furious. Rory look around the room. At least everyone was safe. They had Quincy and…… Rory’s head snapped up. “Leo, where’s your sister?”

“Oh, greetings, my name is Cyrus… and uh what on the Creators green earth is a pyromancer?” Cyrus staired at the strange character for awhile… He then turned to the person next to him. “What’s his problem?” Cyrus asked in a whisper.
Ben looks at Cyrus expecting an answer.
“Oh, I don’t believe I have seen one around. Can you use that sword of yours?” Cyrus feeling very awkward tried avoiding the question.

Stops firing, many of the inflammable (inflammable really means flammable, look at part 4 the Element of Style by William Strunk Jr. and EB White) objects in the room are set afire. He looks around and sees what he has done, the smile that was on his face disappeared. Looking down on the ground in shame, he lifts his arm, clenching all the fire in the room in his fist. Rax then runs for the elevator.
