Talan? Leo blinked. Blinked again. The thought of another type of living mankind brought dusty memories of bedtime fairytales floating back.
Still, humanity was almost species, not a race.
“Yeah… I guess I’m human, but aren’t…” His voice faded away at the sight of those four arms. He swallowed and tried again. “I mean, I’m from all over, but most recently Paradise.”
He folded his arms behind his head and listened to the squeaks of Liko’s tools and the occasional drip of water.

Glad you’re back :] This rp is so slow, it’s only been about a day since you left. But a lot has happened in that time. If you want to know what classes are happening, there’s art, music, or newspaper club, or you can just do your own thing.

Lukas stood, opening his mouth to speak, but no words coming out. He swallowed hard and placed himself in front of Livia, waiting for her to notice. Her gaze finally shifted to meet his, tears making her blue eyes look like mountain springs. Lukas slowly held out his arms, forcing himself not to break eye contact, even when she did. Instead of waiting for her to make the first move, he took a step forward and enveloped her in his arms, not caring about the way his cheeks burned.
The tension in his body slowly released and he held her just slightly tighter. “It’s okay to hurt.”

She closed her eyes as he wrapped his arms around her.
But she felt numb.
All she felt was hurt…so much hurt…
“We had to sell Xandro,” all her attempts to keep from crying failed, and she let out a sob. “We had to sell everything and move to the poor district,” she leaned into him, completely relying on his arms to hold her together. “Because my dad can’t make money to provide for us anymore.”
Livia shook her head. “I don’t know what to do anymore.”
