Marcel spread out a floor cover, and grabbed a new canvas and paint bucket. He rose into the air and began flicking speckles of orange and gold with his wings, and stepping lightly with his sneaker soles. “I survived the demon fiasco, I’m better for it, and now I’m relaxing. So… yeah. Also I technically caused the slime on your clothes last night, so Fel isn’t a lone culprit.”
He glanced at Felicity and swished back and forth in the air thoughtfully. “Asking her to the dance must have been idiot-proof.”

That was a fun discovery. I should tell Marcel. Chase sighed contentedly, leaning back in his seat. This day started out so terrible, but Sef made it so perfect. He brushed his hair away from his face, smiling with blue eyes. I never want today to end now…but wait, isn’t the school hosting a dance tomorrow night? I should ask her to come…No, not yet, I’ll ask her properly later. “A-are you hap-py? D-do you like it here?”

Chase smiled wider at her words. He hadn’t been nearly this happy since the pack welcomed six new wolf cubs or when Old Doe had twin fawns in Spring.
“D-did you know, they s-say tw, twin fawns are magical, that if you s-see them and whisp, whisper a wish, it’ll come true one d-day. Wh-when I see twins a-again, I’ll whi-wish for you to be happy like this forever.”

#AnduthForever (💕)Just my personal opinion, but if you’ve ever seen twins fawns in real life, they almost look like they could be magical. If someone told me this, I’d almost believe them, there’s just something special about twins.

Chase thought for a moment, resting his right elbow on the table and his chin in his hand again. He knew of the dance lessons place, the mall, the fortunetellers shop that Chase never wanted to go near ever again, and the alley. He narrowed it down to two: the mall or wander around.
