“It’s not like I have anywhere else to go,” she shrugged, and then winced. “Sorry, that sounded mean. I’d love to walk back with you! I meant that I don’t even know my way around here enough…” she sighed, realizing she was rambling. “Sorry,” she said again. “I really need to think things through before I say them.” she stood up and fell in step with Lukas.

Lukas couldnât hold back another soft smile. Livâs eyes sparkled like crystal blue pools in the light of the setting sun.
âSorry, I really need to think things through before I say them.â
He just shrugged. âItâs alright.â He hadnât actually heard what she had said before that, but it must have been agreeing to walk back with him because she stood and joined him along the sidewalk.
After a moment or so of silence, Lukas stopped and pulled out his phone, his gaze drifting towards the road. âHold on just a second, Liv.â He ran into the middle of the street after barely looking both ways. âWarn me if a car is coming.â He crouched down on one knee and snapped a quick photo. The sun spilled through the buildings on either side of the street, casting a soft orange glow over the scene. He checked the photo on his phone and smiled. Perfect.
With a quick glance around the street, he switched angles, getting another satisfactory shot. He tilted the phone slightly to where Liv was in focus. A barely noticeable smile graced her lips and her eyes sparkled. Lukas snapped a quick shot, then finally stood up and jogged back to her.
âAlright, Iâm done.â He smiled. âSorry, I canât pass up an opportunity for a great photo. Wanna see it?â He opened the photos app and handed her the phone. âTell me what you think. Thereâs a few different angles.â

“Yeah, it’s a hobby,” he shrugged.

In his actual story, I shipped him with a high-energy girl whoâs pretty oblivious to his crush on her for years. But heâs just so patient and he keeps on loving her even when she doesnât notice it. âşď¸ (Ok, so kinda random, but the girlâs name is Skylar, so my sister came up with the ship name âLuke Skywalkerâ XD)

âThatâs a great idea.â He smiled up at the camera as she held up her phone. For a split second, he turned his head slightly to look at her, but it was right when she snapped another picture. He faced the camera again and she took a few more. âYouâll have to text those to me.â

“Sure,” he took it and typed it in, then gave it back to her.
“Thanks,” she said, adding him as her contact, tilting the phone so he wouldn’t see her adding a heart next to his name in her contacts.

Lukas glanced down at his phone as the pictures came in. He held back a smile and swiped away the notification. They continued down the sidewalk in a sweet silence. The school came into view too soon and Lukas sighed as they reached the bottom of the grand staircase that led to the doors.
They walked up the steps in silence and Lukas walked her down the silent hallways until finally reaching the hall that led into the girlsâ wing.
âWell,â he shoved his hands into his pockets, âI guess this is it.â He met her eyes. âWeâll have to do this again sometime.â

Fynn walked Callista towards the girlsâ dorm, occasionally letting the back of his hand brush against hers. They eventually made it to the end of the hall.
âThanks for the wonderful evening,â Callie said, her blue eyes sparkling.
Fynn flashed a smile. âAny time, mâlady.â He bowed playfully.
Callie laughed. âGood night, brave sire.â
âAnd a good night to you as well, my lovely damsel. Call any time you are in distress.â
âI wonât forget.â She gave him another smile and glided down the hall towards her dorm. Fynn let his gaze linger for a moment before finally turning back and walking towards his dorm room.
His hands rested comfortably in his pockets as he trod down the halls. He almost ran into a small kid with a mop of white hair on his head. âWoah, sorry.â Fynn did a double take, recognizing the boyâs face. âOhâŚâ He turned. âPaxton, right?â He smiled, hoping Paxton had erased any memory of a bad first impression Fynn had made a few weeks ago. âWhatâs up?â

Paxtonâs heart leapt suddenly as a boy only a few inches taller than him bumped his shoulders. The boy turned, eyes wide with apology before recognition crossed his expression.
âOhâŚPaxton, right? Whatâs up?â Paxton blinked, trying to place the boy.
His mind whirred until the face finally snapped into memory, though the memory wasnât all that pleasant.
He frowned a bit, watching as the boy rubbed his neck awkwardly. âAhâŚitâs been a while! Heard youâd left the school afterâŚah, nevermind. Youâre back? Nice!â The boy smiled.
What was his name again? Flynn?
âI uhâŚknow we got off to a rocky start beforeâŚbut you and Lukas seemed to be good friendsâŚso I hope we can be tooâŚâ his eyes brightened as he grinned, making Paxtonâs anxieties ease a bit.

That is so true ? Heâs used to being the youngest friend, but now he has to be a middle child and itâs SO rocking his game. âŚAnd he actually has a similar relationship in with Babsâ little brother! Idk if her brother exists in this AU, though, since I invented him after joining this ?
They can totally meet up later. Problem is, Marcel had his IdEnTitY CriSiS on the 310th page, and then a bunch of people roleplayed so the people I tagged lost the thread. Weâll probably knock the demon out, and Iâll send my charries back to the school or something. But I donât know how long that will take.
