She cast a furtive glance around the room. Steve and Sam were getting ready to possibly dance too…but Clint…Clint stood alone in the corner of the room.
Where was-oh, she was dancing with Everton.
She’d have to talk to Clint later, and maybe give someone else a piece of her mind (uh oh…watch out Amidala 😂)

“So, would you like to dance?”
Steve’s cheeks flushed at Liv’s question. “I-uhm
..I have two left feet! You probably don’t want to dance with me.”

Ahh, don’t worry!! Ev is kinda oblivious rn. In this AU, he seems to be denying his feelings for Ami much more than in his actual story. But Ev will notice real soon and talk to Falon and make sure everything’s okay. 😊

“It’s not wrong to be emotional… It’s okay actually, because I have trouble expressing how I feel sometimes.” His voice was soft now. He had never been this open with anyone but Ev before.

“My name is Falon, and no I don’t really have a last name,” Falon replied.
Easton chose not to prod based on her tone. As they danced, he noticed Falon’s gaze pass over his shoulder. When they twirled, he caught glimpse of a young man dancing with another girl. Clearly Falon was watching them. He took in Falon’s expression, then caught her glance, offering a small smile. “Is that someone you know?”
“Oh, yeah.”
Easton nodded slowly, putting the pieces together. He decided not to say anything in case his assumptions were wrong, but from what he could tell, that young man may have been her previous dance partner.
“So tell me about yourself,” Easton said, determined to divert her attention. “What brought you to the school?” He gave another smile, catching her eye when her gaze was tempted to look past him again.
Ok, so Easton’s really observant and sensitive to others’ feelings and I think he’s gonna be perfect for Falon. 😊

Ev waltzed with Ami in his arms, oblivious to anything else around him. But as they continued, he let his gaze wander slightly from her face. He caught Falon looking their way. He almost lifted his hand to wave, but stopped.
What had he just done? With him dancing with Ami she might think—
Except… maybe what she was thinking was right. Everything felt perfect as they danced across the room. Falon was great, but there was something different when he was with Ami. He glanced Falon’s way one more time. That’s all he needed to convince himself to talk with her as soon as possible.

Uh-oh… Ami’s gonna be apologizing so much. She’s gonna feel so bad. XD She’ll just ignore her feelings for Ev a little longer then finally face the facts 😂 Because she doesn’t want anyone to be mad. She’ll probably make sure everyone’s happy before she’s happy. (Hm… maybe I’ve done more character development with Ami than I thought, lol. XD)

Falon turned to look at him, wondering if he had noticed her distracted gaze. “Uh…” Falon bit her lip for a second, thinking about how to explain it. “Me and my friends came cause we wanted to meet new people, learn different cultures, and languages, and we have.”
It was a little far from the truth, but in the same way, it wasn’t.
A bit of silence passed as they continued to dance, and Falon wondered if he could see right through her act.
“What about you? what brought you here?” she kept close eye contact with him, searching his eyes for honesty. She knew she could at least tell if someone was lying.
Ok, so Easton’s really observant and sensitive to others’ feelings and I think he’s gonna be perfect for Falon. 😊
It’s perfect cause Falon isn’t the type to tell her emotions or what she’s thinking, instead, she’ll shrug it off and deal with it later

“What about you? what brought you here?” Her eyes made contact with his, as if she was searching them for something. Maybe she was actually listening. Easton wasn’t used to his classmates making eye contact while they were talking and it was nice for that to happen for once.
“We come from a small town in New Mexico, so our parents wanted us to expand our horizons and meet new people.” He looked around. “The number of people in this room probably equals half or a little over half of our high school.” He gave a small shrug.

I’m sorry Amidala…Clint will be okay, he’s just been thru a lot, so his natural assumption when someone does something with someone else…he’ll just accept/think that she doesn’t want him as much as Ev and he’ll move on.

So I don’t remember where Loki and Skylar were, and I’ve been searching through the RP and finding nothing so… I’ll just do a new RP for them
also if I’m at all moving too fast don’t feel like you have to RP or anything
also, Loki had slowly increased on my Marvel character list (and why oh why could his Dad just never tell him he cared about him, like seriously!)

Her eyes looked around the dress shop, in one corner there were very fancy black dresses, which were pretty yet a little too much for her, blue dresses that looked like something you would see mermaids wear, and some very pretty violet ones.
Finally, her eyes fixed on the dress section that belonged to the color green, rows of them, then again it was a pretty popular dress color. She wondered how she would sort through all of them and if she truly knew what she was looking for. She never really got to pick out her outfits, they were always chosen for her, so picking a dress was new for her.
Luckily she was able to skip over at least half the dresses that were just a little actually really short. And while modesty wasn’t the number one factor in her clothes it was something, she would hate to give guys an unwanted reason to look at her.
She turned to look at Loki who was following a few steps behind her. “You know I think half these dresses are meant for girls much shorter than me.” She stated with a laugh.
(this is totally based on my looking for dresses at stores lol)

There one moment.
Gone the next.
Clint watched as Amidala danced with Everton. She smiled brightly…she was…she was happy. She loved him, undoubtedly. It was more than just a crush, like she had on Clint.
Clint positioned himself in a corner of the room.
He didn’t mind. He really didn’t.
Better to not become attached and lose her. Maybe it was better that it ended so soon. Less likely for him to be hurt.
But even though he hadn’t known her very long, it already hurt.
Clint leaned back against the wall and closed his eyes; his fists clenched, fighting back memories. Memories of a loving, doting mother whose life had ended too young, too soon. A father whose alcoholism and abuse led to his brother’s departure and Clint’s own runaway story. A circus where he learned his best skills but also felt his most pain, subject to pain…beatings…left and right.
Clint took in and released a deep breath of air.
He needed to get out. Now he felt nauseous.
Clint glanced at Natasha, saw her worried frown, and gave her one of his signature grins. He glanced around the room once more, just to see some of his other friends, and caught Amidala’s eyes. Clint smiled, gave her a thumbs up, and left the room, letting the door close behind him.

Loki chuckled. “I can tell. Hmm…what about,” he paused and grabbed a dress off the shelf, “this one with a long skirt? Do you like this one? Also, I honestly have no idea what to look for in a suit. Maria usually helps me pick them out, or Phil…sometimes Dad. Thor is never any help either. But anyways, do you like this one?”

John watched as Natasha’s gaze went to the boy in the corner. “Friend of yours?” John asked not jokingly but sincerely since he did feel bad for the kid, he had accepted her invitation to dance. Although he would’ve preferred if he had been the one to suggest them dancing, it would have been more gentlemen-like.

Liv looked him up and down, she doubted the tall muscular man was terrible at dancing, surely he could manage something. “I’ll take my chances.”
Payton shot a glance at her, and then at Sam, she could feel her face turning red. “Well, I suppose I’m going to go…” She was already starting to leave, but Liv grabbed her elbow, knowing that Sam was on the verge of asking her.
She would really prefer to not look like a fool in front of this very kind and handsome person.

“Pretty eventful, but the next part is my favorite, I usually go to some cafe and get a drink, so… wanna come?”
Kacy was now on a mission to get him out of his shell, plus it helped that he was cute.

Skylar always smiled when Loki mentioned his family, it was nice to see a guy so close to his family, especially when Skylar had never known that kind of life. Skylar looked at the dress, very cute but she didn’t know if the skirt was the way to go. “Perhaps leggings under it would be cute,” she grabbed it and hung it on her arm. “It’s worth trying on.”
She then picked out a few other dresses to try on, then she walked over to the suits area. “No as for your suit. I think it should be green.” Her eyes scanned the place and then looked to see Loki’s reaction.
She honestly thought a green tux would be cool, but she didn’t know what he would think.
