Chase is gonna ask to go with Babs and Felicity so he can apologize to Marcel, and I think he’d want to either make sure Sef was okay with him leaving and coming back, or taking her with him. What do you think?
Can we just bring Sef along? (if it’s too late, that’s fine, she can dance with someone else XD)

📚 Appreciator of BooksYeah, though it’s very hard for him rn. He can’t shift easy. It takes a lot of energy, so expect him to either pass out or be weak after shifting, even if it’s just to a snake. Since shyiads are actually hunted in some areas, Chase doesn’t often shift, but I’m thinking he will soon if he needs to help Marcel.
When he shifts, he first has to have reason, then his mind locks onto some creature, I’m gonna say snake. Once locked, every muscle in his body strains, and his arms clamp to his sides. After a couple seconds on this, in a couple places scales break through his skin, and next thing, he’s a snake.
It does become easier later in his life.

Without looking away from the girl, Mr. Gregory caught the pen with one hand. She disappeared into a portal. He sighed, and stared at the pen for a few moments. Then he turned on his heel and began walking towards the front door.
As he passed by the boy with the tiny dragon, he pointed at him and commanded, “Get that pet registered.”
He approached the front desk, and Cathy looked up. Without saying a word, he rifled through his pockets and produced a double handful of pens, some crumpled paper, a revolver, and a single flip flop. He placed them all on the desk.
Cathy’s eyes widened in surprise and she tucked some blonde hair behind her ear.
“Oh! Were those…? Why, those sneaky students. I’m sorry, Mr. Gregory. I’ll be more thorough from now on.”
Gregory simply grunted and then left the building, muttering to himself about teenagers and retirement. He needed a break. Maybe he would stop at a cafe, or go have tea with Hana in her office.

Eddie’s tail whipped about her ankles as she watched the room with sparkling eyes. She could already imagine the ballroom’s decorations and the students in their new dresses and suits.
She turned to Chloe. She was managing to control her enthusiasm a lot better now than before, but she still couldn’t contain a giant smile.
“I hope there are some guys around in need of some dance partners. Are you ready for this?”

“No.” Jr snapped back, but the man didn’t seem to hear him as he went out the door. Whatever. Jr pulled his knife out of the wall and fingered the red hot edge with his heat-proof gloved finger. Nar was dancing with some other boy besides Hugo, a noticeable Realn flourish to her “Waltz”. Jr crossed his arms and huffed, the knife still in his hand. Jaz made a sort of purring sound and rubbed against his cheek. As he remained hard-faced and annoyed, she began to lick his face, even styling his hair, combing it with her tongue.
“Stop that! Jaz! you know that stuff’s like glue!” He tried to pry the little dragon away, but she continued unwavering. “You’re stealing my dignity!” That was when he heard a familiar laugh. Nar had stopped dancing and was laughing at the scene. Jr hoped no one else would notice, especially Hugo, for in social situations, he really had no idea what to do.

I’ve also been in terrible writer’s block, where writing almost feels tiring and hard (I still don’t know why)

Falon laughed a little, but it was forced and she wondered if Ev knew it. Falon looked around the room and only to her annoyance, she spotted Michael and Jade they were teasingly waltzing in the corner, being extra dramatic with their moves. They spotted her and gave her a few thumbs up.
