Hey everyone, I’ve been considering jumping into this RP for a while, and I think I will. Does someone want to give me a bit of an intro into what’s going on? (Don’t worry about doing it until after the holidays.)

Hugo
The two were eye to eye, roughly the same height. But while Junior’s build matched that height, and he looked just as substantial in every other feature, Hugo was simply a spider, or an evening shadow. And one looked roughened, while the other still possessed childishly wide eyes.
Junior stroked his miniature dragon’s spine, and gave Nar a question in the Realn language.
“He’s a friend.” Nar took Hugo’s hand.
“Hugo Hesper Angelo, at your service.” Hugo gave a jagged, warm smile, as was his custom, and quietly fastened his jacket. His shadowy figure seemed to lengthen in the extra blackness. “I’m sorry I didn’t ask you for your sister as a dance partner. I wasn’t aware of your existence.”

Okay, I’ll write you something eventually! Would like to note: you should know we are currently writing 99% romance because we are in dancing lessons 🤣 And this roleplay can get action-packed sometimes when there are bullies, but that isn’t really the norm here. It’s mostly conversations and calm interactions between characters. I’m saying this because I know some people are not into that sort of thing.

“So what do you do for fun?” she asked. “I used to write poems, but one night Iver burned them all. He was drunk,” she explained.

“Well, are we still going to the dance?” she asked. “I completely understand if you’d rather do something else, like go to a movie together. I’m sure we wouldn’t be the only ones not going.”

“I used to play the flute. Father ruined that many years ago. I used to sing a little, but I haven’t for two years. I play football, and spend time in nature. That’s…basically it. I don’t read books much, I don’t listen to much music, I don’t do any craft things. I’ve been told I have pretty handwriting, but I only write on necessity.”
I just got a sweet idea. What if Chase bought a suit and flowers, wrote Sef a note for her to meet him somewhere, and then asked her to go to the dance?

Junior narrowed his red eyes. The dragon on his shoulder made a trilling noise, and rubbed itself against his neck.
“Nar, you should be more careful of who you go out with.” Nar laughed.
“I’ve rarely met someone as sweet as Hugo, and do you think just because I don’t practise in excess that I can’t defend myself if I need?”
“I’ve never seen you fight Krogen…and win.”
“Krogen is to rough for my tastes.”
“Guess what? War is rough, Nar. People are rough.” From his low voice, it pitched to a kind one, and he addressed Hugo,
“Nahim A. Nayhelm Jr., Lordling and Emperor’s son. I forgive you for dancing with her, but no one tries to hurt my sister without hearing from Alpha Grath.” His voice pitched low and menacing at the name, his eyes seemed to almost glow. “Be warned.”

“Got it.” Hugo wondered for a split second if he might do Nar some emotional hurt, or any of the girls at this school. But his face only glowed with positive energy. He held out his hand to shake Nahim’s. “I hope you never have to rip me to ribbons, Nah… ? Would you like me to call you by your first name?”

Lol. I only loved two Christmas movies when I actually bothered to watch them. One about a lame lamb who met Jesus, and another about three quarrelsome quail. I have fond memories of them.
Also, Nahim’s name is pronounced Nay-him not Nah-him

“I don’t mind, call me Nahim, Junior, or Alpha as you wish. I respond to all three.” Jr took Hugo’s wrist, not his hand, grasped it then let go.
“That’s a sign of friendship or peace. ” Nar whispered in Hugo’s ear.

Aw, that’s cute! I really enjoy Rise of the Guardians and Klaus. Technically the first isn’t a Christmas movie, but it has one of my favorite versions of Santa.

I’m starting to worry about Marcel…
Yeah, um, I think he’s missing. I’ll write a roleplay for him or one of his friends soon. I’m just not sure if people want to actually look for him? Or… Probably when people are leaving practice. Could be a good drive for some people, because we’ve had one-character-centric plots before. Like with Paxton (@godlyfantasy12). But I’m afraid to make a character of mine too important 😅
