The young scribe peered suspiciously through his thick spectacles at the tall handsomely dressed lad with the less-than-trusting eyes. His quill flew across the page as he rapidly filled out an identification form. Then he looked at Dante. “A fire imp, eh? Not familiar with that race. We sometimes refer to pixies as imps, but I do not think the term accurately describes you, my friend. At least, not how I know it.” Calligripho flipped back a few pages and added “fire imp” under Dante’s form.
“As for myself,” he said, still holding his book open with pen poised, “I am a member of the Mankine, our dimension’s native race. Extremely similar to humans, the only exception being the addition of the skill system. Mine is writing speed, as you may guess. And you, Mr. Stalker?” He turned toward the tall man-boy. He peered at him again. Something was troubling about him. He was hiding something. A small something, but a something nevertheless.

Chase had been sitting there, but he brushed past them, walking out of the pizzeria. Liv was too distracted with being near Lukas to wonder where he was going. “I have some sapphires-”
“No, it’s okay,” Lukas interrupted her with a smile as they slid into the booth. Fynn elbowed Lukas and snickered into his hand, and Liv felt her face turn red. Lukas seemed equally embarrased, and Callie glared at Fynn.

Babs changed quickly, and she had barely even thought about it before she stepped outside of the changing room, for all to see.
In a bright yellow dress.
It was entirely different from even the shirt dresses she occasionally wore.
Soft ruffles clustered along the bottom, and gave the shiny, sunny fabric a bit of pop. Along the waist ran a huge ribbon bow, twice as big as any ribbon Babs had ever owned. And the sleeves were, in fact, enthusiastically puffy.
Suddenly Babs felt very embarrassed with herself. “Felicity… please be honest.”
Okay got it. And it’s okay if you misunderstood, it was a purposefully blurry question XD
He was hiding something. A small something, but a something nevertheless.

Hugo had meant to ask what the kids were doing, but he didn’t interrupt. He watched the warm-skinned Tienin boy and the scribe with mild fascination.
“Human,” he said.It took a moment before the others nodded.
“Well -” he added, “- I’m pretty certain I’m a different kind of human. The people in my world, they can change, in all sorts of unnatural ways.”
A literally faceless man flashed in his mind, whispering in a little shark boy’s ear.
He shook the image off and shrugged. “But yeah, I’m just your average human. Nothing to see here.”

As the boy talked, Dante noticed he looked… shorter.
“Wait,” he said, looking around, “Where’s that fancy-dressed kid you had? Did you drop him?”
Any ideas for what we should have these guys do? I have a feeling they probably don’t want to go shopping.

“Yes, I dropped him.” Hugo beamed, and slid his sleeve up to look at his watch. “He should start complaining in about… eight minutes and seventeen seconds.”
He glanced around, noting all the bustling restaurants back up the mall walkway. “I’m taking him to that old soda fountain shop between Sixteenth and Fairy Way. Do you guys want to tag along? We don’t have to even acknowledge each other. You can just stalk me or something.”

Round and soft vibes, if that makes sense? White skin, orange hair (and I mean orange, like brighter than real hair would be) streaked with white and put up in two loose buns, and usually simple clothing.

Idk why I’m saying this, it just popped in my brain.

Chase is part Shyiad, and at this point he knows he can shape shift, but has little control over it (as part Shyiads do at first). Sudden extreme surprise could cause him to shift, most likely to a snake since that is the usual shyiad form (being mostly human, his is a human, but snakes are his easiest form to shift to). This could cause an incident, and panicked chaos. I know some people around here love that kinda thing (including myself) so this is potential. It also is just my random thoughts finally clicking together and coming out in type.

Lukas quietly ate his food, his eyes roaming everywhere. But somehow they always ended up on Liv’s face. He forced himself to stare down at his plate.
“Did you find something to where to the dance, Lukas?” Callista asked, breaking the awkward silence.
Lukas’s gaze shot up. To be honest, he had been waiting for Liv to say something, but directed his attention towards Callie. “Um, n-no, actually. I didn’t.”
“But you will right? Because Fynn told me you were planning to come.”
Lukas nodded. “Yeah. I will. I guess I’ll tag along with you guys. B-because I, uh… don’t have anyone to go with.” He let his eyes meet Liv’s for a moment, then dropped his gaze back down to his plate.
