“I’m new here, I’ve never been to a boarding school before.”
Callista chuckled. “Well, I’ve only been here for about a week, so I’m pretty new too. It’s nice to meet you, Livia. Oh and Xandro.” She nodded and smiled towards the blue horse. “Do you know what dorm you’re staying in?”
Do you have a reference pic for Falon? Because I think I know what she looks like, but I’m not entirely sure.

Ok, there are two malls: one completely normal mall that is really big and currently crowded with students, and then there’s Caly’s mall that I think is from his WIP which is invisible, and only his characters and Dante currently know about it. If you want to go dress shopping, you might want to go to the normal mall.

Aletheia? Where on Adalland (this name will most likely change later) is there a city called Aletheia? Chase was never good at geography, so he pushed it to the back of his mind. He ran his fingers through his hair, his original fear of the two boys wearing off. What should he do next? Ask another question? Move on? Ugh, why did he always have to be so socially awkward? Nate would know what to do, he would have just picked a subject to talk about…The only subject Chase could think of was one he really didn’t want to discuss.

Fynn shoved his hands into his pockets as they fell into an awkward silence. Thankfully, he didn’t have to come up with anything to say as he saw Callista by the front doors standing next to a girl with blue hair and horse of the same color.
“Hey, Callie!”
She looked up and smiled. “Hey, you made it!”
“Am I late?”
She glanced down at her watch. “Actually, you’re just on time. Impressive.”
He smirked. “Now we’ll see if I can pull it off for class.”
Callie rolled her eyes. “Oh, Fynn. This is Livia. She’s a new student. And this is her horse Xandro. Livia, this is Fynn and Lukas. Two friends of mine.”
Fynn nodded. “Nice to meet ya, Livia. It’s a good thing the first person you met was Callista. She’s one of the more normal people in this school.”
“Yeah, I was hoping that with how much you hang out with her that she’d influence you,” Lukas murmured under this breath.

As Hugo watched the cyclops head into an invisible portal, he leaned against a decorative lamppost, and considered his options.
Did he really want to get mixed up in someone else’s business?
No, not really. If he was being honest.
He had a time limit, and it would take way too long to get caught up in an adventure without a good reason.
But on the other hand, he had a time limit. A chunk of time all to himself.
A chuckle. Hands slipped into his pockets, suit jacket brushed back and the faint light from the lamp folded together as orange over black. He flashed his sharp pearls.
He would watch.

So basically he’s just a sentry, if you will. I honestly do not want to jump into this extra mall yet 😅

Chase hung back as Fynn greeted a blue girl, her horse ad what guessed to be his really really close friend. I don’t belong here. He quickly pulled his hood over his face again, hoping the two girls and odd horse wouldn’t notice him. He slouched against the wall, watching as the four talked.
The horse interested him the most of the group.
"You need French Toast."
Fine.

Okay guys, I’m just going to jump right into it and add more charries, but not like a TON, because that would be sheer chaos and I only like chaos I can CONTROL XDD
Firstly, I’m adding this charrie because @lydibug wants him:
Pigeon
Pigeon is basically the street-smart kid who acts like he knows everything, but just ends up getting you in trouble 😅
He is a dog-human hybrid, like the Dogchild, but looks way different. He has bright silver fur, sticking all over the place, ears a bit like a fox’s, and a fluffy tail. Other than that tail and his head, he is completely human. Threadbare knit clothing. No shoes.
Personality + Other: Pigeon loves dumpster diving. Like, loves it. He loves finding random cool things in the trash. He’s really good with kids, although he has a tendency to accidentally stick them in dangerous situations. Rebellious, but not to the point where he flaunts his personality in front of everyone. He just does what he wants.

I was thinking about adding (as an experiment in living) two of some brand-new characters to see what they do. It’s a twist on the superhero genre, where there’s a boy who gets powers and has all sorts of girlfriend trouble. My idea is from the boy’s perspective…
but the girl got the powers.
And they aren’t from New York, they’re from Houston, Texas.
So here they be: Derik and Sara (absolutely no connection to people here named Sara, it just sounded right)
Derik: A somewhat goofy, nerdy, country kid mix, raised by his grandparents on a ranch half an hour from Houston. He goes to school there, and after school he does the normal stuff, but goes out in the country to do fun stuff like go to shooting ranges and country dances. He’s a pretty good shot, and he likes guns, but he’s not super good.
Sara: Frizzy red-haired girl with a bouncy personality. Lives in the city, has been hanging out with Derik for quite a while. Super powers: super strength (I mean, they all have that), raven wings, piercing shriek, invulnerable to poisons. Even though her powers kinda contradict her personality, I’m gonna try to make it work.
Side note: Derik’s role model is another character of mine: Sheriff Simon “Rocky” Johnson, a Texan legend from the 18th century who cleaned up the town of Tombstone, Nevada. He’s a whole nother kettle of fish.
Not sure how Derik and his only advantage being guns is going to work in this school…
I’ll try to work around it. But meantime,
Nickname Changes: Calligripho –> Inky (@loopy Dante can keep calling him Calli if he wants to until Callipsa shows up); Yerdua –> Spice
Bagico
“Look at this! It’s perfect!”
Bags cringed, but hid it quickly. Spice was offering him a mouse-brown, pink-coatailed, ridiculous suit. And worst of all, it was exactly his size. “Um, it’s a bit… uh…”
“Amazing? This is the best thing I’ve ever seen!”
“What happened to ‘elegance is to not be noticed’?”
Spice looked at him, tilting her head down and widening her eyes so that she looked through her dark eyebrows.
Bags fidgeted.
Luckily for him, he was interrupted. Or unluckily, depending on how you look at it. The Rat, panting heavily, raced into the Parisian dress shop, with The Cat hot in pursuit. The Rat raced up Bag’s pant leg without delay, much to the poor dwarf’s dismay. The Cat, blind with fury of the chase, brutally attacked Bag’s leg as he hopped up and down, waving his arms and gasping. Eventually, Bag’s tripped over The Cat and fell flat on his back, just in time for Dante to peek around the corner.
Calligripho
“Don’t you get that feeling that you’re being watched?” Manly looked around nervously.
Calligripho slapped his forehead. “Don’t say it! Words have power!”
Manly reassured him. “Look, the best thing we can do is go in and get that pixie in a jar. If someone’s watching, we can deal with them later. They probably won’t be able to follow us into the mall, since they can’t see it.”
Calligripho took a deep breath. “Ok, let’s get on in there and finish this.”
They stepped into the mall.
The scene that assaulted their eyes was unforgettable. In a nearby shop, Bagico lay on the floor, squirming and slapping his sides as The Cat tore at his pant leg. Yerdua stood by, too shocked to move. The Manager was watching, teary-eyed, pulling clumps of slicked-back hair from his head, and whimpering. Dante was peeking around the corner, covering his mouth. In horror or laughter, Inky couldn’t tell. And some dragon kids perched on neighboring shop awnings. Why are things always so complicated? Calligripho bemoaned.

@keilah One of your bois still has that phasing stone, right? If his siblings/friends are all touching him, they can all get through walls. Like, from a neighboring shop into the mall…
