I usually don’t like romance, but this dance is giving me ideas.

But if they need to ask someone else to go to the dance with them, it doesn’t all have to be romantic. Some people can just ask their friends or someone who is just fun to hang out with.

Wow, so I haven’t been active on this RP in forever. I have no idea where I left off. So I’ll try to write an RP later today so my charries can interact with some of yours. If I remember right, the characters I have in here are Amidala, Everton, Fynn, Callista, Lukas, and Derek.

Maybe before the dance, we shop for outfits? There are so many shops nearby! The whole school could cancel classes today for it!

Ok, here’s my lil alien dudes

Eddie: female, about 14 in human years ish, 3’ tall, green eyes, long brown hair in a French braid, tan skin with some green coloring, long unicorn-like tail, wears a white tank top and dark pants

Ellie: Eddie’s identical twin sister, chin length brown hair, wears a sky blue hoodie

Eddie was dying. She was sure of it.

Here she would spend her final moments, stuck in a stuffy classroom, being lectured about correct grammar by an old man who wouldn’t stop acting like some kind of drill sergeant. The lingering summer heat weighed down on the students, sapping their energy and fogging their brains. At least three students were visibly asleep while many others struggled to stay upright in their chairs. Eddie herself lay melted across her desk, eyes half closed. Her floppy tail presented a tripping hazard to any who might try to walk by. She wasn’t learning a thing, yet Mr. Gregory’s lesson droned on. Eddie sighed loudly through her nose.

Papers rustled on Ellie’s desk next to her. Small origami animals in pastel colors were scattered across her desktop. As Eddie lazily watched, her sister unpeeled another yellow sticky note from the block of paper, and started folding a giraffe. Eddie stared at the mini zoo and started imagining them cantering around, chasing each other. The purple rabbit hopped down to the floor and nibbled at the carpet. The green dragon blew out ripped scraps of red and orange paper. The blue paper crane flapped around and rested on Mr. Gregory’s salt and pepper head. But the teacher carried on, unaware.

The bell suddenly rang and Eddie jumped, ripped from her fantasy.

“And apparently that’s to be all the time we have. Alright, you can leave. Fill out those worksheets and bring them back tomorrow.”

Students were already standing up, swinging on backpacks, and heading out the door with Gregory’s disappointed glare at their backs. Eddie stretched dramatically and then bounded to her feet, suddenly energized. Ellie stuffed paper critters into her large hoodie pocket and then grabbed her bag. The two followed the chattering crowd out into the hallway.

“So what’s our next class?” Eddie asked.

Ellie glanced up and slightly to the right, as if she were checking an invisible schedule in the air that only she could see.

“Nothing.”

“What? No class?”

“Yeah. We have the rest of the day off to get ready for the upcoming dance.”

Eddie’s eyes widened. “There’s a dance?! Ellie! Why didn’t you tell meeee??”

Ellie shrugged.

“We’re going to have to get dresses! Oooo I haven’t worn a dress since I was so little!” Eddie ran ahead and spun in a circle, imagining how her skirt was going to flow and twist around. She giggled, then lost her balance and stumbled into someone’s legs.

“Agh! …Whoops. Sorry.”

(Does anyone want the person she ran into to be their character?)

Room assignments have just kinda meshed together, so you can pretty much room with anyone. Like, we were planning four in each? But then the room with Paxton and Marcel became popular and almost all the boys were put in it 🤣

I don’t have any girl characters yet that Eddie and Ellie can room with.

…But other people have girl charries, and I will eventually have to reintroduce a girl of mine.

If you ask someone, I’m sure they would oblige 😋

But about the dance.

I know it’s a long shot, but Marcel might ask one of the twins to the dance. If they get to know each other. He loves origami 😊

That would be so awesome! Origami is Ellie’s favorite thing. Even if he doesn’t ask her, she’d be really excited to meet someone with the same interest.

Adding a new character!

Hugo Angelo

Age: 16

Appearance: You’ll get the description in the RP, so I’ll just skip this 😝

Personality: Hugo is a super sweet older brother. He can act naive and childish at times, but mostly only with Seb, since he likes to balance out his adoptive brother’s saucy, cynical attitude. Otherwise, he is responsible as a role model, peaceful, and a little bossy.

Hugo Angelo began to run.

He looked like a lean ally cat, with a black suit and soft footfalls. Hair looped around his face, glistening with golden and red highlights.

The parking lot had jammed up the street, as cars played jigsaw puzzle with each other, trying to make it out into the city for shopping week. But above, leaves from the treetops blew away freely, and tumbled into windows and faces without care.

A richly bitter fragrance, twisted up with sugar, blew into Hugo’s face – and the shimmery glass displays caught the sun and nearly blinded him. The shops winding alongside tempted, but not nearly enough to slow his pace.

His bus had slowed far behind him – hence the running – to a dull rumble. The sound had permeated his mind, and now his heart purred.

And there it was.

Destina Tasin – beautiful, imposing, and stuffed with chaos.

As he slid to a stop in front of the school, Hugo grinned.

His teeth were sharp and jagged, like a shark’s.

Hopefully this school wouldn’t see him as a predator. Because he also had cute freckles, and the warm, bright eyes of a normal teenager with a desire to fit in. A desire to belong in a goofy clique, without a care in the world.

Was that too much to ask for?

Hugo headed up the steps. He brushed the hair out of his eyes, and glanced down at his suitcase, and the tiny brass cage he clutched to his chest.

A small, fuzzy white ball peered up at him, with aloof amber eyes.

“Marple,” Hugo giggled, brushing her chest with a finger. “Who stuck molasses in your feathers?”

She burbled and closed her eyes, becoming a perfect fluff ball once more.

Marple wasn’t technically Hugo’s. On his tenth birthday, Seb had woken up and discovered the puffy chick on his pillow. Although grateful, the kid hadn’t immediately taken to her, and she had become more of a family pet than anything else.

Inside, the school halls were packed. Students spun around each other and bounced in excitement, as their freedom finally dawned on them.

Sebastian was nowhere in sight.

But – whether in luck or not – they were assigned to the same room. Some kind of… mega-dorm.

It took a bit of thought and retracing of steps, but he eventually found the room.

“Hey, Sebby-boy? You in here?” he called as he opened the door.

It was empty of boys. Most of the beds were taken – some already obviously lived in, one with a bedspread barely touched and bags still unpacked. Next to one bed stood a familiar radio, and the pillowcase could only be accurately described as a baby unicorn hide.

Hugo put Marple on the foot of Seb’s bed, and threw the rest of his stuff on a free mattress. Then, the sounds of students’ laughter bursting around him, he swung around the door and left.

Time to surprise a very paranoid little brother.
