Yeah, definitely some of your characters. You may also enlist some of my charries as well, specifically Marcel, although Wolfie might object to that. I don’t know how long he holds grudges.

Tony shrugged at Leo’s question. “I don’t know, maybe, but maybe not. Maybe he decided he wasn’t going to teach just a small handful of students. You said Math wasn’t your thing, so why are you taking Trig for an elective?”
Leo bit his lip.
Could he trust this boy with that kind of information?
Leo let out a deep breath. “…I need to get my grades up.”
“By taking a class you’re not even good at?”
“Okay, okay…so maybe it wasn’t the best idea, ok? It’s mostly Math that’s down though…so I thought a Math elective would help…but you’re right…it was stupid.”
Tony waved a hand in dismissal. “Ehh, that’s okay…we’ve all done it. I tried to take extra History last year…that was a mistake.”
Leo raised an eyebrow. “This is your first year here, isn’t it?”
“Yeah…but I went to another boarding school before that.”
“Technically.” The blonde in front of Tony, apparently one of Tony’s friends, Steve, Leo remembered, mumbled.
Steve looked like he belonged in Karate class or something…not Trigonometry…he might as well have been a brick wall.
Jakob was muscular…but not that muscular.
Tony shrugged. “Yeah, technically it was actually an orphanage. Hey, so if you wanted…I could help you with your math homework, and maybe my friend Bruce could help you with Science, if you need help with that.”
Leo wouldn’t ask about the orphanage…it seemed kind of…rude. “…Yeah…I-I’d like that.”
“Great. So…do you want to start tonight, tomorrow, what are you thinking?”
Leo smiled. “Tonight would work. Oh, and hey, your name is Steve, right?”
The blonde turned around and nodded. “Yeah.”
“Why aren’t you in a more…physical class? That is, if-if you don’t mind me asking! That may have been kind of rude…sorry about that.”
Steve shrugged. “I’ve heard worse. Same as you, need my grades to be up…and trying to please someone…he wanted me to take Trig.”
“Your Dad?”
Steve turned around. “…I guess you could say that.”
Leo raised an eyebrow, and almost opened his mouth, but the teacher walked in, and he didn’t say a word.
But he was still confused.

But it can be a secret thing so the bully bros don’t show up and start messing with the rest of the charries. Or worse, tattle on them to their mother.

Have any of y’all read Dune? Because there’s a part where the main character has a vision of all his friends taking up his name as a chant and starting a holy war that gets out of control. And that’s like the main character’s worst nightmare. This could be somewhat cool/emotionally scarring for everyone. Just saying.
