What?! Brian! Look up! He’s right there! I willed Brian to look about the room. Seb was in the seat right in front of him! Of course, Brian was too busy studying the textbook in front of him with intensity. He was too far away for me to get his attention. And unlike the chemistry teacher, the history teacher knew how to handle a rowdy class. There would be no nonsense here.
Until there was.
How is it that every time I think nothing will happen, it does? Why is that? I focused on the new situation.
The boy, Calvin, that had hit it off with Brian so well, stood, and blatantly exposed the textbook’s shortcomings. Better yet, I could tell from his manner of speaking that everything he said was true. I admired his courage.
But that was odd – He talked about aspects of faeries that I was baffled by – and I was the one who had only dusty old history books (and real life faeries) to keep me company in my fifteen years of existence. I just about lost my head when he said his race had many similarities to faeries. He was definitely taller than waist-height, and was not very wide. The tallest faeries I knew were no taller than three-foot-three and as wide as they were tall. Then it hit me – when he said “different types of fae” that he was talking about something else entirely. This is why I don’t stand up in class and shout my opinions. If he did make good on his threat to create a new curriculum, I would be the first to read it. I was still getting used to the whole “interdimensional travel” stuff. Unfortunately for our homework assignment, the teacher shut poor Calvin down and moved on with the lesson.
Uh oh, It looked like Brian was about to stand up himself and make an objection to the book. Please no please no please no please – Brian stood up – No! Come on, Brian! Subtlety! Well, telepathic communication was a bust.
“I object to the curriculum’s portrayal of knights and princes – this book is profoundly biased!”
“Is everyone going to critique the history book today?” the professor asked to no one in particular. “Well, Prince Brianaro, do you care to elaborate on your objection?”
“No, I just thought that needed to be said.” Brian sat down, vindicated. Sometimes, I don’t understand him at all.
“Any more comments from the class?” the frustrated professor flustered. “No? Then keep your seats as I give my apparently imperfect lecture.” And so we obeyed.
First thing after class, that Seb was going to catch it.

Sometimes it slows down *shrug*
Like I don’t wanna reply next, because I‘ve already powered through a large chunk of the afternoon and I want to give other people a chance to catch up. I have this habit of posting long RPs with important stuff in them, and feeling guilty for writing them without permission. Aaaand in this case I think that’s slightly warranted, so I’m going to leave this be until at least… I don’t know, two other people who haven’t been RPing recently contribute?
So.
But there are other chats on here you could mess around on if you want 🙂

“At least all of you have fun roommates.”
Leo raised an eyebrow at his youngest brother as they walked to History class. “Why do you say that?”
“Is this about Calvin and Marcel again?” Dietrich asked, adjusting his backpack.
Wolfgang merely nodded, lapsing into silence.
Leo bit his lip. Wolfgang didn’t exactly seem to be a fan of his roommates…except Lukas and Paxton…he didn’t mind them.
Otherwise, well…he didn’t seem to like them very much.
“If they ever mess with you, just let me know.”
“Jakob…” Joshua whispered.
Heels clicked against the floor. “Out of my way, imbeciles.” Hilda muttered, shoving past, her long blonde hair swaying from side to side as she walked.
Wolfgang, walking to the History classroom door, was in her way, and the two of them collided.
Hilda lost her balance, and both she and Wolfgang toppled to the floor, books splaying out all over the floor.
“Look what you did! You made me fall!”
“You ran into me!” Wolfgang argued, anger kindled.
He just wasn’t in a good mood lately.
“It’s your fault for not moving!”
Wolfgang stuck his tongue out at Hilda. “Mean lady!”
Hilda’s face reddened. “Why, you little-!”
“Hilda, that’s enough. Get your things and go to class.”
Hilda glared at Adolphus, but she grabbed her things and put them in her backpack. “Like I should listen to you…I have new friends now.”
“Have fun with the jerk posse.” Dietrich replied, a serious frown on his face…not even a smile cracked.
“More like the idiot posse.” Jakob muttered, and Wolfgang giggled.
Hilda glared, but she turned around and briskly walked away.
Reuben helped Wolfgang to his feet. “You okay, Wolfie?”
Wolfgang quickly nodded, putting his books back into his backpack. “Uh huh! I won’t let crazy girl get to me!”
Leo smiled and gently tousled Wolfgang’s hair. “Come on, Wolf-O…let’s get to class.”
They finally made it to class…a little late, but they made it as the teacher talked with one of the students…Calvin, Leo was pretty sure.
The professor turned and faced them. “You’re late.”
Adolphus gave the teacher a small, apologetic smile. “Sorry sir…it won’t happen again.”
They took their seats.
At least they weren’t too late.

Fynn sped down the hall, dodging other lingering students who were either ditching class or rushing to get there like him. Man, he really had to work on getting places on time.
He skid to a stop as a group of boys were walking into the classroom. As one of the boys apologized for their tardiness, Fynn kept his head down and blended in with them.
One of the boys was Wolfgang. He gave him a small wave and a smile, motioning over to two empty seats. He hoped he would agree. Wolfgang wasn’t happy with Fynn’s first impression, so Fynn was hoping to make a better second one.
Anndddd, I can’t think of anything else to RP for my other charries, so for now we’ll just pretend they’re somewhere in class. XD
