There was sufficient space around them both. He could’ve easily moved around.

Tech decided not to fight. The other kid hadn’t expressed any bad intentions….yet. “You–you can have this seat if you want……I wasn’t going to sit here.”
Where'd I get ya this time? The liver? The kidney? I'm runnin' outta places to put holes in ya.

Derek sneered. “Nah. I prefer being at the front of the class… Or really the top of the class.” He chuckled. “I’ve been coding for some years now.” He said with a slight tilt of his head. He slid into his seat, then turned to look over at the boy. “See if you can keep up.”
(I think it would actually be really funny if Tech was better at coding than Derek. XD)
(Oh, and we can stop now and head to lunch, or we can continue for a couple more RPs if you want.)

“What about you guys, who are you going with?” Falon asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Uh,” Steve rubbed the back of his neck, “no one…I guess I’ll probably go as a group with some of the others…”
“Yeah, same.” Sam added with a nod.
Bucky grinned and winked at Riya. “I’m planning on going with someone, just haven’t asked her yet.”
Sam faced Clint, crossed his arms, and raised an eyebrow. “And you? Who are you going with…? Have you found anyone?”
Clint glanced at Everton…and slowly nodded. “Yeah…Amidala.”
You should probably be the one to do Ev’s reaction XD

Sam turned to Clint, crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow. “And you? Who are you going with…? Have you found anyone?”
Ev’s attention was suddenly focused on Clint. Clint gave Ev a glance, then slowly nodded. “Yeah…Amidala.”
Ev bit his lip and drew in a breath through his nose. He forced a small smile and nodded, but quickly directed his gaze to floor and stared at his red high-tops.
He had said it to himself earlier… he wanted Ami to be happy. And if she was happy with going to the dance with Clint, then that was fine… But was it really?
There was still something about it that ticked him off. Sure, he was going with Falon, and she was really awesome; but hearing that Ami willingly chose to go with someone else bothered Ev. He tried to brush if off, but it kept nagging him.
Maybe it was because he… loved her…?
No.
…Well, yes he loved her. But not in that way… right?
His emotions felt like they were all over the place and he wasn’t sure how to handle it. So he forced them out of his head for the time being. He was going to the dance with Falon, and he was happy about that. He really was.
He just had to convince himself that Ami going with Clint was okay. After all, it wasn’t like he was her brother or whatever. She could make her own choices without his input.
“Hey, Ev, you good?” Falon asked, snapping him out of his thoughts.
Ev stood up and plastered a smile on his face. “Yeah… yeah I’m good. Just lost in my thoughts, that’s all.”
(Guys… I know why Ev feels the way he does and I can’t wait to reveal it later on… 😏)

He slid into his seat and began hitting the keys.
Tech watched for a couple seconds, then began his own project. The clicking sound of claws against keyboard drowned out almost anything else.
He was laser-focused. Nothing could shake him.
It took him a while before he realized he couldn’t hear anyone else typing.
He looked up to see that the boy who’d taunted him and a few of the other students were watching him, slack-jawed.
What? He had always been a fast typer. Of course, he’d have to run through and debug it right after this.

Derek saw—and heard—the dragon boy furiously typing away on his computer. Derek slowly stopped his project and turned to watch him. He hated to admit it, but that he was fast.
The boy noticed everyone watching him and slowed down for a moment.
Derek tilted his chin up and turned to face his computer screen again.
Fine, he thought, as he started typing. He wants to be better than me? Then it’ll take more than that.
Ok, I think we’re ready for lunch now. 😉
