Hunter sat down in the corner of the room, away from Paxton and the other boy, and proceeded to work on one of his drawings.
He wasn’t going to make the problem worse.

Derek walked down the hall, towards the coding classroom. He pushed open the door and did a quick survey of the room. There were only a few students here. It was definitely a smaller classroom than the one he was in for math or English.
He chose a desk to sit at, and made his way over there, but without first purposely bumping into a younger student. He had a tail and wings… almost like a dragon…
“Hey,” he said, his tail lashing.
Derek turned on his heel and flashed him a wry smile. “Sorry, didn’t see you there.”
