Thanks! That’s a good idea… it’s liquid hope lol. They live on a world where hope doesn’t occur naturally, so they have to drink it.
Flax can room by himself too, maybe he’s next door to your charries and then he can feel sad and left out (My I’m terrible)
Who is in your room, just so I don’t have to ask sometime later lol? I’ll write it down somewhere just in case he crosses paths with them, or he can just room with them, idk whatever works.

As for the charries in that room, we have:
Mine – Calvin, Marcel
Godly – Paxton
Freedom – Wolfie
Esther – Fynn, Lukas
I… think that’s all of them? I apologize to anyone I missed. They are all pretty nice, so Flax shouldn’t have anything to worry about, other than a little snoring.

… For the electives, you can pretty much just make up subjects, and if you want help thinking of them or seeing if anyone else is taking them, go ahead and ask! Right now, we are almost at Lunch. That would be a great time to join.

Flax grips the strap of his leather satchel. He rubs his sweaty palms against his tunic, both eager and nervous to start his first day. School may have existed on his old planet… but Asper never had any. Flax pushes his key into the door.
It’s so dark in here…
Someone needs to light a candle.
Flax gingerly removes a small flask from around his neck, holding it out. It glows a soft purple, dimly illuminating the room. Jumping slightly at the odd texture, he bends down to examine the squishy carpet.
Strange.
A couple of other bags lay around the floor, others placed neatly at the end of beds. A stack of books towers from one of the desks. Flax walks over to a large window pulling back the shades. He blinks, waiting for his eyes to adjust.
It looks like I’m not the only one here…
Flax drops his flask back under his tunic, it’s warm glass radiating against his skin.
They said lunch was coming up… maybe I’ll be able to meet some people if I go.
Removing a small piece of parchment from his pocket, he looks over his schedule.
Lunch is at noon so…
Sticking his head out the door, Flax squints at the sun, which is nearly at its zenith already.
I should get going.

Thanks! Yeah, he doesn’t understand a lot of modern things… he’s going to seem a little weird lol. He reads the sun instead of a clock, uses stars to figure out where he is and uses a bottle of hope to light anyplace dark XD

I wanted Botany to be kind of outside, because I love outside and it just felt right XD
Thorn
The wispy-haired girl skidded to a stop in front of a pair of large, open oak doors.
This was to lead to the Destina Tasin Greenhouse.
More like Destina Tasin Every-Color-Under-The-Sky House.
The room’s glass walls towered much higher than any other room Thorn had seen. Bits of colored glass, like in old cathedrals, speckled certain areas near the ceiling. The ceiling itself had been rolled back, through an intricate system of copper gears, revealing a waterfall of sunlight.
Creeping around her were moss, vines, ferns – overflowing the room, almost out into the hallway within.
Flowers sparkled, coated in a layer of mist droplets.
Thorn was completely overwhelmed.
What beauty! What awe! What the luckiest thing on her part!
She leaned her head back and beamed up at the sun, laughter, like crystals, reflecting light from every corner of dyed glass.
Life had never felt so alive around her.

Still rattled from his earlier conversation with Corvina, Arthur tugged at the collar of his white undershirt, glancing to the right and left as he skulked towards the greenhouse doors.
Not many people were near, which he was thankful for. He bowed his head and then quickly skirted inside, sucking in a deep breath as the doors shut behind him.
His eyes opened and then widened at the sight of the…endless array of colors before him. A small smile lit his lips as he straightened, staring at the sheer beauty of it all.
Flowers of all different kinds sat in rows all around him, filling the area with a variety of colors and smells. He sucked in a deep breath, feeling a small tingle run through him as he did.
He grinned, teeth sparkling. He slipped his hands into his leather jacket, strolling through the glassy wonderland. He could feel the sun glowing on his face, sending heat through him.
This was just what he needed to calm his nerves.
He opened one eye, attention swayed by a spark of deep reds.
He stopped, turning to the right.
In a circle of deep, midnight green, stood a bushel of the most beautiful, sultry, vivid looking roses Arthur had ever seen.
His face turned scarlet at the sight, thoughts immediately jumping to a certain, ebony-haired young lady.
“You know my favorites!”
He stared at the roses for a moment.
They were beautiful….
And it would be a shame to waste the elective with just learning.
“Oh! Hello!” A voice made him jump. He let out a shriek. Spinning around, he spotted a girl a few years younger than him. He blushed at the high pitch sound his voice had made and scratched the back of his neck, trying to regain his composure.
He chuckled, “Oh! Didn’t see ya there. Ah…hey,” He raised his brows, trying to come off as nonchalant. Confident. Cool.
The girl just continued to smile.
“Are you in this class to?”
Arthur swallowed.
No use hiding it now…
“Well…ah…” He shrugged, slipping his hands into his pockets. He looked away, clearing his throat. “Yea. I mean…it looked easy so….”
