#ProtectSebMm! So I was trying to find a nickname for my bully or bullies to call November, and was like “some bullies come up with some really unique stuff…it’s cruel but yea.” And I found the word clinker, because it actually means The stony residue from burned coal
So it can have to do with burnt stuff/fire
BUT it also means- Something that is unsatisfactory/a failure…

Here are my charries who would’ve done the assignment

“Mr. Pierce,” The teacher said, I looked in shock as Steve got up to the name. Peirce… weird,
Steve fumbled with his papers and stuttered with his words, much like some of the kids before him. I guess Steve has gotten better at the whole speech thing, over the years.
After a few more kids, I sank back in my seat. I dreaded being called, I didn’t want to speak in front of all these people.
“Did you do the extra assignment?” Ev asked looking at me.
I nodded my head.
The teacher in perfect timing called my name, “Mrs. Rogers,”
As I walked down to the teacher I looked around the building. All the Avengers and Ev were looking at me, plus fifty other students.
“You can begin now,” The teacher said with a stern voice.
“Right…” I looked down at my paper, and suddenly the words started to blur together, and it was like I had forgotten how to read.
“Thank you, Mrs. Rogers, you can go to your seat now.” The teacher gestured to my seat next to Ev.
I could tell the teacher didn’t approve of my speech, she thought it was horrible, and of course, it was.
ugh… I hate talking in front of people

why was everyone so bad at this? So many mistakes and fumbles, that would never be excepted where I came from. You would be punished, and it would be a cruel punishment too.
“Mrs. Lee,” The teacher called my name, except it was actually my name it was an alias.
I walked down to the teacher showing confidence in my walk. I was smooth, quick, and talented and I wanted all the kids to know that.
“You can begin,” The teacher nodded.
The words came out of my mouth smooth and controlled, my writing was impeccable. I was the best, and I knew it.
“Thank you, Mrs. Lee, please take your seat.”
I walked over to my seat, next to Anakin.
“Impressive,” Anakin did a sarcastic clap,
“Thank you,” I gave a clever grin.

Seb began to nod off, his head bouncing up and down from his chest.
“Seb! It’s been fifteen minutes!”
Seb rubbed at his eyes with a knuckle, and yawned. Super, super loudly.
The last girl who had spoken, who was now in her seat, gave him a sharp look, and flipped her hair out of her face before turning away. The rest of the class looked woefully disinterested, or nervous.
Sebastian sighed, and also patted his bangs out of his eyes. They were stiff with hair oil, and easy to shape. Usually he had two tufts, sticking out from his head.
…Which did not seem to be the style here.
“It’s pathetic,” he whispered under his breath. “What kind of school is this? I thought you put me in an elite academy. I’ve heard staplers give better speeches.”
He had, in fact. Except that speech had been in code, so maybe that didn’t count.
“It’s Destina Tasin,” the voice said. He sounded rather hurt. “And for the record, a couple speeches were pretty good. You just couldn’t bother to snap out of your catnap. Also, I tried my best, you know. I thought you might like it here.”
“Emphasis on might.” Sebastian’s eyes sparkled, as he finally, definitively blinked out of the doze.
“I try.” Now, the voice sounded defeated, tired. “Anyway…”
Seb’s smirk softened, as he stared at his neatly folded hands. “But… thank you.”
A note of cheer. “I try.”
The voice cut off, and a warm, cozy ribbon of jazz flitted past Seb, easing him into his chair like a midnight fireplace would, as his eyelids drooped once more.

Ooh do you think we should add magic classes?? Like for controlling powers, for November’s fire, and other kids? It could be like a special class, only for kids with special unique powers and stuff!

I love writing him. And I don’t want to get bogged down again with too many charries so just gonna stick with N and Paxton and any charries that relate to them probably for now (and maybe Arthur)

I think Paxton could use just a little pushing for his shell…
