Okay. So. He’s basically his universe’s equivalent of a cherubim, except these beings are specifically geared towards war (so yes, an army), and they are far from perfect. The highest generals guard their own designated planets. After Marcel’s backstory (which is spoilers lol, but he basically made a huge mistake), he is banished to the world of Baztet.
He is in a human body, and basically doesn’t have the mental or physical capabilities to understand why he was banished, what happened to him, or the implications of his powers. In fact, it’s less a story of a cosmic being trapped inside a boy, and more of one about a boy, trapped in the history of a war captain, that he himself does not identify with.
I love writing a dorky middle-grader (no offense to real ones, I was one XD), trying to fit in, while also entirely overwhelmed by his own potential. The whole idea is he has a super big, cosmic backstory, but lives the life of a middle child with an obsession for superhero comics, and low self-esteem. An ‘itty-bitty living space,’ as a genie would put it XD
As for Calvin, he protects Marcel when they’re just normal kids, but when he’s an older, official Baztet Lordling (around 17 or 18), Marcel is his most trustworthy guardian. After all, that’s what he exists to do.

I’ve thought about it a little bit and maybe I could add Erebus? He’s more of the troubled-villain-who-eventually-gets-redeemed type, but I think it would be helpful for me to write him before he takes a turn for the better. I have a tendency to write him in a way where he doesn’t seem that bad and you end up just feeling sorry for him, instead of despising him for his villainy.
Anywho, just wanted to throw that our there.

Tirion smiled at her. “Thanks, Angelina.” He then turned to Iris and Erich. “Thank you as well, and don’t worry Erich, I’m not currently looking to steal someone’s best friend, maybe another time.”
Erich chuckled. “Good to know.”
Riker and Tirion found open seats next to the other three young people and settled down.

Okay, I’m going to initiate English class if that’s okay 😅 But if your charries still want to talk, I’m guessing the teacher won’t care\notice
I realize I’ve kind of been on a lot recently, but that’s because the summer really kicked me this last week. I’ve just been a whirlwind of energy – but I’m not sure why. 😂 D’ya know what I mean?

Calvin slid into a seat next to Fynn. He put his arms on the desk and hid his face with a soft moan.
I need Mom.
She was a genuine lifeline at this point.
He would have to send a message or something, with his scratched-up flip phone. But his parents only checked Noc’s computer once every night before bed, and he needed advice right away.
Calvin wasn’t usually a worrier. His entire family were cool and relaxed. But Marcel was a different problem altogether, and had almost no similarities with the triplets. He wasn’t passive; he was active and demanding, while stoically denying it at the same time.
Never mind that. English was about to start, and as the teacher entered the room, it crossed Calvin’s mind that a whole world of teens brewed around him, ready to be explored.

“They don’t know when to stop, huh?” Lukas said with a roll of his eyes.
“Or how,” Calvin quipped.
Callie felt her cheeks flush and directed her gaze downward, staring at her shoes.
Fynn didn’t seem thrown off or embarrassed by the comment, but that was just how he was. Always confident in himself… Maybe a little too confident.
“What are you taking for electives?” Callie asked, trying to change the subject.
(I’m not sure when English class is going to start, so I don’t know how long this conversation is going to last. 😛 )

November stared at the mess of papers on his desk, frowning. He could hardly read his handwriting…his essay was probably illegible…
Not that it mattered much anyway…it probably sucked…
Ara had told him it was good, but…November had his doubts.
Ara always tended to give the benefit of the doubt to people, and was optimistic by nature, like Lyn…
Especially when it came to him it seemed, which he couldn’t understand in the slightest.
He let out a small groan as he read through, or tried at least, a paragraph of his essay, and, deeming it trash, gave himself up to the fact that he’d get yet another bad mark.
“You alright, N?”
November shot up, cheeks flushing pink. “Y-Yea…fine,” he lied, tugging at a few curls as Ara sat beside him.
“Still worrying about your assignment? He didn’t answer, but the silence must have been enough.
“It’s going to be fine. It’s an extra credit essay, it doesn’t have to be perfect,” She smiled.
“I’ll be lucky if it’s even decent.”
“Don’t talk like that,” Ara sighed, gently taking the ginger’s hand in her own. His eyes glanced at their intertwined fingers, heat turning his ears red.
For as long as he could remember, he and Ara had always held hands…so why was it so awkward now?
Then again…it has always made him a bit blushy…even as a little tyke.
Anything she did usually ended up with him becoming a pile of blushing goo…
But it wasn’t until recently that Ara seemed to sense the awkwardness the herself…
She blinked, straightening a bit before slowly untangling their fingers, looking away for a moment.
“I…ah…” She started, folding her hands into her lap, “Listen…it’s going to be wonderful. I just know it.”
