I’ll let Whaley go next in our group if she wants. We could just stop it there though and go on to the next day. I don’t really care either way.

VALLANEY
They walked into a moderatley sized gym, wandering over to a corner to start. Skylar looked over at her and said, “So I guess we know who Riya is going with to the dance,” her tone held a tinge of bitterness.
Vallaney couldn’t help a small laugh. “Yeah, she and Bucky definitley seemed to be getting along quite well.” Her gaze dropped to the floor. She was happy for Riya, Bucky seemed really sweet, but she couldn’t help the self conciousness she felt when thinking about what her own experiance might be at the dance.
She forced herself not to think of Devian. For all she knew he was having the time of his life with new friends he’d made and talking to plenty of cute girls. Her heart twisted at the thought.
Getting into position across from Skylar, she raised her fists. She might of been intimidated fighting someone so much older had she not been used to sparring with her gaurd Namal, easily one of the most intimidating people Vallaney knew.
“You think anyone will ask you?” She asked tentativley as they started, remembering what Skylar had said earlier about talking to a boy before she’d joined them at the table.

And guess what? His is eternal (:Vallaney and I started to fight, making quick, usually blocked moves. she was good I wouldn’t deny that.
“You think anyone will ask you?” Vallaney asked, making a move towards me.
“He already has,” I said with a smile.
Vallaney seemed distracted for a second and I use that to put her down to the ground but she managed to dodge. She took a few steps back widening the space between us.

What a cry baby.
Marcel snorted, and punched Cal’s arm. “Let’s go find a wreck room or something.”
The tired circles around Cal’s eyes seemed to expand, like a raccoon’s. He ignored Marcel, and pushed forward. “Hey, don’t blame Fynn. It was my idea to jump him. If you want to pick a fight with someone, pick it with me.”
He turned to the little Paxton, who shivered like a baby bunny under his look. “My brothers always feel better when I wrestle them. Do you at least want a hug before bed?”
Marcel rolled his eyes, and set his comic books on a bed in the corner, flopping onto the orange and yellow covers.
Why did Cal even bother? It was the kid’s fault for being such a scaredy cat.

Paxton
Paxton stared at the boy’s now outstretched arms, thankful he was asking and not just grabbing him.
Because in truth…Paxton wasn’t quite feeling up to hugging him at the moment.
Not that he wanted to be rude…he just…didn’t really know him.
And the idea of being in close contact with someone he didn’t know…
Well…it made his skin crawl and his throat dry up.
And the mention of wrestling, with brothers no less, hadn’t exactly helped Paxton’s rising nerves.
He shook his head, but offered what he hoped was a good smile?
It was hard to tell…
The boy lowered his arms with a shrug. “Well, alright,” he scratched the back of his head, seeming unsure of what to do next.
Paxton but the inside of his cheek, feeling like an intruder in his own room.
He shouldn’t be here.
If he wasn’t, all of these boys would’ve probably gotten along fine…
It was just…him.
It was always him. He was always the problem.
“Th…thank…” Paxton started, the sound muffled slightly. Wolfgang’s eyes nearly popped from his head as Paxton spoke.
“Thank y-y-you…” Paxton offered, hoping that was enough to let the boy, Cal was it? Know that the gesture was appreciated, even if it wasn’t returned.

Calvin nodded, with a slow, comforting smile. “Totally fine. I guess I get pretty scary when I’ve been up for twenty-four hours straight.”
